Description of Work: First of all, the license number listed on their website is expired according to the WA State L&I database of contractors (a very good website to find and bookmark) and appears to have been suspended on 9/2/2011. (Perhaps a good website to provide a link to on Angie's List, since the licensure information provided is only as good as the contractor's honesty). In short, use at your own risk.

Description of Work: Cascade Valley Construction did a great job installing 6 windows and a new front door for us. Thomas is fantastic to work with and after this project we also worked with him on a demolition project and plan to use him again soon to do some outbuilding addons to our house. You can't go wrong with Cascade.

Description of Work: We had contracted with Thomas Yoney and Cascade Valley, to re-roof our home two months ago. He also had to install new skylights. Being happy with his work, we asked him for a bid to re-side the home. We got three separate bids from highly rated companies but Thomas' bid was $5000 higher that the others. Being on a fixed income, cost is important to us, so we went with one of the other companies. After that experience was over I wrote Thomas to tell him that I had made a poor choice. We wound up essentially paying the same amount to the new company. We saved nothing. We had a much smaller crew here than Cascade Valley did which made our siding project 2 1/2 very long weeks. In addition I had a conflict with the contracter over work that was on the contract but that was not done. He said some things that I am sure he wished he hadn't. He did apologize but the damage was done. I would not hesitate to use Cascade Valley again. When getting estimates for any future work I will be ready with more questions for whomever I spoke with.
