The Sterling Inspection Group was selected by our real estate agent to perform the home inspection on the house we were buying. As first time home buyers in the Seattle area, we placed a lot of trust in our agent to select the right people to work with throughout the process. Adam (home inspection) and David (sewer scope) did an excellent job for us. They were very thorough and provided detailed reports for us to help with maintenance planning in the future. We very much appreciated Adam's time to walk us through findings and provide us his recommendations. We would be purchasing an older home that had been renovated over the years, so having the Sterling team come out and provide us with their great services and backed by a warranty gave us peace of mind in knowing that our new home wasn't going to be a dud.

Michael Wicklund did a great job performing the home inspection. As new home buyers we are experiencing the anxiety and tension of the process and Mr. Wicklund made sure that by the end of the home inspection we felt more confident. More importantly he made sure to make it clear that he and his company would be available for any additional questions or follow ups to help ensure we felt confident in the process. He was on time, professional, and thorough but more importantly he was patient and kind. He made sure we understood what we were talking about, listened to our worries, and answered all of our questions. He made us feel like we were a priority and that he had all the time we needed - which in today's fast paced world is sometimes missing. We wanted to make an offer on a house but because it is a seller’s market, a “subject to inspection” clause would have made our offer far less competitive. We only had a couple days before the “offers to be reviewed on” date, so our agent called The Sterling Inspection Group. Michael called us right away and was able to schedule Adam W. to do the inspection the very next morning (on a weekend). Adam arrived on time, met our agent, and gave us a FaceTime summary of his preliminary findings from the site. He explained everything with photos and answered all our questions. I hired Sterling for a professional home inspection and a sewer scope. The customer service representative was very professional and attentive so scheduling was a breeze. The inspector arrived early and was extremely thorough in inspecting every aspect of my future home. He was respectful to the home itself. He wore shoe coverings while inside and wore a mask the whole time he was there. After he was done, he went thorough all his findings and photographs to make sure I was aware of everything that may need done to the home. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I received a full, very detailed, report within 24 hours as promised. Sterling is a great value for the price and I would recommend them to anyone shopping for a professional home inspection. Extremely thorough Worth every penny

Michael was AMAZINGLY thorough and helpful throughout our home inspection. With such a big investment, my husband and I were SO grateful that he really took the time to carefully inspect and analyze the current state of our prospective home.
