Description of Work: This project was pricey in my opinion but, bottom line is, I would do it again. We are very pleased with our new fence and the security it provides. I especially commend Tim as company representative for his consideration of our age and vulnerability. No complaints!!

Description of Work: I contacted this company for a quote to do a regular maintenance on my electric gate and possibly add an electric eye if possible. Mike came out, seemed like a good guy, took a look at the gate and determined that it was an older gate and could have liability problems for him to work on. He said, because it was an older gate, I would have to sign a release and I told him I was fine with that. He then emailed me that my gate was too old to do any service and so I asked him to get me a quote then to bring it up to current standards. He said ok and would have a quote in a few days. 10 days later I contacted him to find out how he was coming along with the quote. He said he would have it to me "tomorrow". Tomorrow came and went and I never heard from him. It was around the holidays so maybe that was the problem. Anyway, I moved on to a different company that did the work with no problem. And they added the electric eye with no problems.

+ -1 moreAfter reviewing all options for installing a security gate, we chose to go with SGA for two reasons. 1.The estimate from Mike Saggitti (SGA) for a complete installation was highly competitive to hiring individual contractors each for gate, for electrical and for masonry work, saving a lot of hassle and time. His web site is clear and well illustrates the broad range of gates that he has installed. 2. SGA comes highly recommended from a member of Angies List Mike brought decades of experience to our project and vastly improved our original proposal with many excellent suggestions. However, there was never any upselling at any point and his objective was to give us EXACTLY what we wanted. To this end he spent considerable time on site (which is on a slope) prior to presenting the final design. Mike is a very knowledgable and creative professional and was always responsive to our needs and questions. The installation by Duke went like clockwork .Prior to starting he explained exactly what would be done and when. Duke interacted perfectly with his subs , electrician Mike and the mason Ben. I was amazed at their organization and efficiency... no doubt due to the fact that they all work together regularly. Duke is to be especially recommended for the quality of his work, his customer interaction ( checking with us that we were getting pillars on the right place etc) and for his incredible knowledge and problem solving skills. His subs , Mike and Ben were also of the highest quality and everyone associated with SGA was just plain easy to get along with. They caused the minimum disturbance and left the place spotless. The gate is of high quality and has worked perfectly. One minor incident...after a rain storm the gate locked open but Duke responded immediately to fix the problem. SGA is a quality company that does high quality custom work and provides rapid after sales service. Overall, we are extemely pleased with the entire experience with SGA and would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a quality gate at competitive price with minimum hassle
Description of Work: Installation of a security driveway gate to a private residence. Included the design,manufacture and physical installation of an automatic custom Iron gate. SGA provided a comprehensive service which included all electrical work (with permits) as well as the construction of masonry pillars.

+ 0 moreA very professional job. I am very pleased!!! Upon the initial discussions and bid, they recommended against an opener that I already owned.Do take their recommendations (I am glad I did). Crew was delayed from initial schedule date but I was informed that this might be the case as I asking to be moved up in their schedule. Installers were great. I am sure they are busy, so I have had to wait for some questions on additional work and products that I would like to purchase from them. Since these are purely optional and yet to be budgeted, it does not really impact my opinion. GREAT JOB!!!

+ -1 moreMike Maggitti and his associates took our dream gate for our property and made it a reality. We went with this company because their bid was competitive, they were using superior products and at the first consultation we were provided with a step by step process of what was going to occur. The first was doing things correct by getting a county permit and making sure we complied with all rules and regulations. Mike supplied us with Landon from Beyler Consulting, who designed the drawing and submitted all to the county for the permit. With the permit secured, our drawing of the property logo was taken to a metal laser cutter company which enlarged and replicated the logo. The logo was then incorporated into a gate and powdered coated by Perfection Powder Coating and Fabrication, Inc. in Puyallup. Once the gate was complete, their installer, Duke, and electrician, Mike of High Amp Electric, completed the install. Mike Maggitti also helped with us getting the final signoffs from the county and fire department. Today, our gate is the first and best welcoming impression to our 20 acre estate. Not only did Mike and his associates make the process easy but we were treated with excellent customer service, diligence, honesty and priced within our budget. Thank you Mike, Landon, Mike Crandall of Perfection Powder Coating, Mike of High Amp and Duke. We love our gate and loved working with all of you. We would be happy to recommend your company to anyone and everyone.

+ -1 moreWe contacted them in March for an initial estimate. They walked the property with us and gave several suggestions on how we could make our project work best. Before they could begin, we had to have the land cleared. The whole process took about two months, but the actual fence installation took just over a week, despite some bad weather. The staff was courteous and friendly, and the fence looks fantastic.
Description of Work: AMS installed a perimeter fence on our 10 acre property. The quality of the work in outstanding. I will hire them again in the future for more projects. They were willing to work with us to help us stay in our budget.
