Description of Work: We called Rambo about possible birds in the attic. Jeff was on time to the appointment. He carefully explained what was happening with the property after a through inspection and explained our options. We had him close off all the vents on the back side of the house that would be very hard for us to do ourselves. He preformed the work asked and no pressure up-sell, but left our options open in case we wanted them to finish the project. Great job!

Description of Work: Inspected and treated my house for fleas. The people at Rambo Pest Control were responsive to my urgent request for help and Butch was wonderful and patient explaining the treatment process to me. I am doing my part vacuuming everyday and I was encouraged to call if I had any follow up questions.I will definitely use Rambo again if the need arises!

+ -1 moreNick was awasome! He is very professional, took care of the problem and did a great job. They also warrenty their work and he promised us, he will come back, if yellow jackets return within 2 months! Don't waste your money with other people. Give Nick a call. I would highly recommend him.

Nick came out to our house, inspected all around the house, told us what kinds of nests we had ( there were more that 20) sprayed the nests, and got all of them knocked down, even the second story ones. he spent at least 2 1/2 hours making sure they were all taken care of. He offered to put us on a monthly/ quarterly/ bi annual plan which includes coming out anytime to take care of new nests as the arise. We were very pleased with his work. Nick was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and efficient. I will definitely use their service again, and recommend to friends and family.

+ -1 moreWe had 3 quotes for pest control and Luke was the only one who actually came to the house to give a quote based on what we needed. He was very courteous and professional. We decided to do the work ourselves and he even told us what we should do! If our pest control needs get to the point we need a professional, we will use Rambo Total Pest Control. Their prices were comparable to the other quotes and it was specific to what we needed done.

+ -1 moreLuke put rat poison bait in stations in places that were out of sight, but near the rat activity. These bait stations are childproof and pet proof. It requires a special key to open them. He puts the bait on a rod that holds it in place. The rats come inside the bait station, eat the anchored bait there, then take it back to the nest. Luke comes every quarter to refill the bait stations. It doesn't take long, and he doesn't charge high prices, as we are part of his "route." He also examines our crawlspace and the perimeter of our house. He has not found evidence of rats inside, so it appears that our treatment method is working. Thanks to Luke! Luke is responsible, respectful and reliable. I like the way he covers his shoes with clean cloth covers if he needs to come in the house. I recommend Luke to others who have similar needs.
Description of Work: We have rats in our garden. Luke Rambo came out to treat this rat problem months ago. He explained that we have food sources for the rats ( we have chickens, and we also feed the wildbirds sunflower seeds). Since we didn't want to change our bird feeding behavior he set about solving our problem.

However, I didn?t use their services to get the work done since their price was high for what I wanted to get done at this point. They may have been right about the long term solution and I would consider using them in the future.

+ -1 moreLuke explained the behavior of the termites-they rotate between their nest and their eating area (our house!) every several days, so they will all be affected by the treatment. I have confidence that this treatment will work, and that our home is protected. The treatment of the termites went smoothly. I was upset that we had them, but Luke assured me that it is not unusual to have termites in our region. His company treats them regularly. As I mentioned above, he was neat and thorough. He was also polite, timely and his customer service skills were excellent.
Description of Work: TERMITES! We were shocked to hear that we had termites the fear of every homeowner! They were accurately identified as subterranean termites by Luke Rambo, owner of Rambo Total Pest Control, in Nov. 2008. He explained that the trick to treating termites is to get the pesticide into the places where they nest. This is not easy with subterranean termites because they live in the soil under the structure! In our case, they were in the soil under our garage, as well as munching on the wooden wall between our garage and house. This meant Luke had to drill through the concrete slab of the garage (every 18 inches all around the edges) and spray the chemical into the soil through these small holes. He used a concrete drill for the slab. While this entailed a lot of heavy work, he was very careful to minimize the mess and clean up after himself. He repaired all the holes with concrete. He also went into the crawlspace under the house and treated the soil in that area with appropriate, effective, approved pesticide.

+ -1 moreLuke treated the problem using several tactics. He sprayed all along the outside of our home along the soil line. He directly sprayed the huge nest and left bait in that area (in the crawlspace). He did a "drill and treat" in the walls near the huge nest. He also left us with some professional traps we could use if the ants reappeared. So far I have not seen any ants and it has been many months. Luke also has done rat and mole control for my aging parents. They have been very satisfied with his work! He comes by regularly to add fresh bait to the traps. Luke also has done numerous crawl space clean outs for a friend who is a Realtor and often has need of this work when a house is sold.
Description of Work: We had a problem with odorous house ants. We tried to treat the problem ourselves, but when the ants reached the kitchen counters, that was enough! Luke Rambo came out to our home within a day of my call. He inspected our home quite completely, including the crawl space. He found several entry points where the ants were coming in from the garden and a large nest in the insulation of our floorboards.
