Maxcare Hardwood Floors

The quality of the work was top notch. The craftsmen that did the work were very knowledgable and professional. Every commitment was met including the time for the job, the quality of the work and the "dust free" system. I am a woodworker and would not have believed the dust free claim if I had not experienced it myself. They were not the lowest price bid I got but I am sure that their quality was the best.

Person that gave estimate said they could replace a few bad boards in our bedroom. They changed a few but not all. (I guess because of time, but we were willing to pay. They scrapped our new threshold with equipment. Expect what they didn't fix. Employees nice fast didn't like that the guy who gave us estimate didn't keep work about replacing bad boards. If they would have done what they said.

Outstanding. From the beginning to the end, this team was professional, arriving on time. cleaning, notification if there was any changes, and I had no surprises. The floors are beautiful. I also purchased the Dust Containment Sanding System. As described, I did not have the dust. Thanks again for all the customer service and the outstanding work. The project took 4 days. I have other floors that need to be refinishede. I will definitely use this company.

MaxCare Hardwood Floors was hired to refinish all of the hardwood floors and replace vinyl flooring in a guest bathroom and laundry room of our home. Part of the project also included replacing all of the baseboard in the areas being worked on. The work was scheduled to be completed while my wife and I were out of town. At first we were a little apprehensive about not being around while the work was going on. However, after speaking with several former customers that had their floors done while they were out of town, we felt very comfortable with this arrangement. When conducting the free in-home estimate with Jon (one of the owners of the company), he promised that the hardwood floors would look like new when finished. He did not disappoint. That was exactly the way it turned out. The floors looked amazing and we couldn't have been more pleased with the end result. We were equally as happy with the vinyl flooring that was replaced. Lastly, we must comment on the "dustless" system that was used on the wood floors. Even though the process was advertised as "dustless" we still had doubts about it. We were thoroughly impressed with the condition of the house when we returned home. Again, it was as promised regarding the amount of dust that would be left after their work was done. While we did not expect that their would not be any traces of dust, the minimal amount that was left was surprising. Overall, we were very pleased with all aspects of this home improvement project. All of the staff at MaxCare were professional, friendly, and very easy to work with throughout this process. We would highly recommend them to anyone that is considering having this type of work done in their home.

Excellent job! Our floors are beautifully refinished and look the best they have ever looked. When we put the floors in 25 years ago they were not properly finished but they are now and I'm wondering why we didn't hire these folks sooner. From the office staff to the skilled craftsmen who refinished our floors, everyone professional and easy to work with.

Everything went perfectly. I have had my entire house done by Maxcare, I didn't do it all at once but over a period of time. Even a small job will be done where most won't do the small jobs. The crew is very trustworthy, I was able to leave the house unlocked for them to do their work while at wok.

After visiting a few big box retailers who sell hardwoods we found they did not have the knowledge or skill that we were looking for. Then we found Maxcare. This company is all about service and quality and they care about their reputation!! With all the many choices out there we were looking to work with a honest, highly experienced professional to help guide us to make good decisions for our lifestyle and home. John the owner/estimator at Maxcare is definitely is that kind of professional. He was excellent in helping us choose the right hardwood that fit our home with the durability we needed and it was within budget too. Once our hardwood was chosen, it was ordered and installation happened in a timely fashion exactly as scheduled. The work crew arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves every day. They were always respectful, careful and trustworthy. We decided to have Maxcare also make us custom vent covers that would match our hardwood floors. However when our lead installer Mark went to put them in place, they were not to his liking for fit. Some other company might have just let it go and installed the vent covers as they were but not Maxcare. They hire skilled craftsmen with the intent of giving you a first class quality installation. Mark took the necessary extra time to correct the fit on every vent cover. Even the ones that would eventually be hidden by furniture! The entire installation was finished on time as scheduled because the size of the work crew was adjusted as needed so that necessary daily goals could always be met. I wanted to wait and let some time pass before writing this review to determine if our hardwoods would live up to our expectations and we are as thrilled with our hardwoods today as we were 11 months ago when they were installed. Everyone recognizes the quality in our installation. We would highly recommend choosing Maxcare to anyone. The entire staff treats you with respect and they work hard to make you a happy customer.

We built our home almost 6 years ago and Jon's company did the install. To this day almost 6 years later they continue to look wonderful. We decided to do the family room that adjoins the kitchen which already had hardwood. The new hardwood they installed went right up to the older one and they managed to do a great job making that installation and new finish look seamless. Only exception being the new floor will have to age a bit to match better in color. The installers (Jorge & Kolton) showed up right on time, every time, kept a neat organized work space and continued to clean up until they walked out the door after the finish work. I have to mention that we were really stressed out about our millwork having to be removed and reset. Jorge & Kolton did an amazing job in that area as well. DID I MENTION THE DUST FREE SYSTEM? I spent a day removing everything from my tabletops, kitchen counters, etc. I didn't need to bother. The system used by Maxcare left our home without the cleanup I had dreaded going into this project. Very cool. We refer Jon and his company whenever we can. They are very professional, courteous and we felt comfortable trusting them in our home. We truly appreciate them bringing their best every time.

From beginning to end it was great. John was to the point and always got things done. Anytime we had a bump in the road they always fixed it, no issues. You can tell he really takes care of his crew. They never say anything bad about him or the company. They worked swiftly, and got us our beautiful floor. They replaced approximately 900sqft. Melina, was super helpful along the way and made us feel like everything was always being held in good hands. I never had a bad feeling with them. Jorge, and the rest of his crew explained to us all of the in's and out's of what was going on, and always kept their area super clean. Never did they leave the house in a complete wreck. They treated our home like their home. I will be forever grateful for their respect, truthful, and amazing customer service.

John gave me a reasonable estimate. We chose them over other estimates because they had a dust free process removed some heavy furniture, removed and replaced baseboards. (See below).

No reply, message sent July 16. But in their defense, 4 other flooring contractors also failed to reply even once. That's why the rating is a C b/c it's on par with others. It's seems when business is good, many contractors cease to care about customer service. I contacted one at a time and waited, not trying to get bulk bids.

From the start, when we visited the showroom, to the end, where John (the owner) hand-delivered our care kit, the experience was perfect. All employees were knowledgeable and friendly, and the end product of beautiful, meticulously-installed acacia floors exceeded our expectations. Super professionalism and flexibility were also things we appreciated from Maxcare. I would recommend Maxcare without reservation to anyone looking for hardwood floor installation.

A team of 2 wonderful hard working young men came & worked 3 days installing new wood one gentleman sanded the entire surface or says a team came to seal & reinstall base boards. Hard working young men-2days.

perfect. the selection and sale of the product went smoothly. the office staff were very helpful and even got us a box of our selection to take to our home and see how we liked it instead of a small sample. we felt they bent over backwards to assist us. the installers were professional, on time, detailed and did an outstanding job. they cleaned up each night and asked permission where to leave their tools ( install took 3 days). they had an outstanding attention to detail and really cared about how the floors looked and were installed. we could have not asked for a better job!

max care was knowledgeable about the product as well as being helpful in providing us a box to take to our home and layout to ensure we liked it. when it came to install the installers were amazing professional, on time and did a superb job. they were very detailed and particular and made sure we were happy every day with the progress. when they left for the day they cleaned up their mess, organized tools and asked permission where to leave them. outstanding service!!!!

A section of my kitchen hardwood flooring (birch) was warped and damaged due to a defective new dishwasher purchased in the fall of 2015. The dishwasher had been leaking down into the floor boards, and the leak was not discovered until the defective dishwasher wash replaced. The water caused my hardwood flooring to warp and approximately 100 square feet of flooring needed to be removed and replaced. Additionally, because the flooring was about 4 or 5 years old, all 900 square ft. of hardwood flooring had to be refinished so that the replaced portion would match. Maxcare was extremely responsive when I called for an estimate in late December. They visited my home the day after the call, provided an estimate, and worked with my insurance adjuster directly. They were communicative, professional, and they did what they said they would do for the price quoted. They finished all the work in late January 2016, and the floors look beautiful.

The estimator was on time and provide us with an estimate the same day. The workers showed up promptly and were finished by the scheduled date. The dustless floor sanding system was remarkable. We found very little trace of sanding residue in the house after the project. The floors came out looking very good, and we are happy with the results. A floor care kit was provided at the end of the project which contained cleaner and mop along with instructions on how to care for the floor.

They were recommended by our insurance adjuster following water damage to our floor. They were friendly prompt, through & always available for questions. The quality of their work was excellent & timely.

Perfect - just perfect. They were right, no dust in the house, no smell, beautiful mat finish, others have seen it and took their number. Their bid was the same as others, but we chose them because we liked Jon. He was wanting to do the job, even though it as small (we were charged a min price because the spares was small.

Jon & his team were so great they worked w/my insurance co to make sure I was paid for everything (the estimator left off several key items). I would highly recommend them to anyone & would hire again.

The company did a great job and everyone I dealt with was professional. They cared for my home like it was their own. They even moved appliances and other furniture that was required. They even put felt pads on all furniture that was setting on the hardwoods. Best of all their dust free system is really dust free

Maxcare were brilliant in every respect. We elected to go with the dust free program because we had had some insurance work done on the floor in the past by another provider and the dusty mess was horrendous. Maxcare also were able to do the work in our absence. We had booked to go away on a cruise and they did all the work while we were away. On returning from our vacation we came home to an absolutely brilliant floor and I kid you not, there was absolutely no dust at all. I would recommend these people to anyone. Their preparation and planning was superb and everything went to plan. The package they left with us after the job was done explained everything about the floor and the best way to maintain it. The follow up service, making sure that everything was to our satisfaction is second to none. We have found that over the past few years quality workmanship and customer service have deteriorated in this Country. It is encouraging to find a company like Maxcare who strive to please.

This company took our solid oak flooring and resurrected it from the dead! They were professional from the get go and even though their bid wasn't the lowest, we felt comfortable handing our keys over to them to do the job. A few important points: - They listened to our concerns and answered all our questions throughout the process - They explained exactly what they would be doing and the timeline (which was right on, by the way) - They were on time every day - They helped us select a stain color - They did an amazing job that we are thrilled with and even gave us a cleaning kit to maintain the beauty of the floors! We can't say enough about this wonderful company. Oh, and the entire process was miraculously dust free! Not a speck of dust ANYWHERE! Thank you Jon, Brenda, Melina, AJ & Francisco! We'll be calling when we're ready to do the bedrooms!

They did a beautiful job. We had 3 bids and they were the highest. We chose them because we had some problem areas. The first was matching an existing hardwood floor with red and white shorts, one and two's that was already on 1/3 of our upstairs. This they did in a seamless mannner, no one can tell the new from the old. Secondly. we had some ugly issues around the top of our stairs. Their finish carpenter handled this problem in a very agreeable and artistic manner. He also did a very good job on our stairs. The crew were always on time, professional and a cheerful.,
