Description of Work: We used J & K Plumbing. They replaced our hot water tank, and fixed some fixtures in my bathroom.

Description of Work: Jerry came out in the time period specified. Actually they came out 15 minutes before the window opened. Roberta called before to verify that an early arrival would be OK. I had spend considerable time and effort with two different snakes, but could never clear the clog. Jerry and his wonderful bi-directional electrical snake cleared the clog. Jerry had to spend a great deal of effort to accomplish this. I am very pleased with J&K and will use and recommend them to all.

Description of Work: We had scheduled an appoint for Friday at 1pm called that Monday took 5 days to get an appointment only for them not to show. We called and they said that the appointment was for that following Tuesday. Asked them for a morning appointment and they couldn't get out to us until the following Friday. Customer service would warrant to take care of the person quickly.

Description of Work: We have used J & K four different times through the years. They have replaced the water line from the meter into the house. Replaced faucets, shut off controls, and garbage disposals. We have always found them to be prompt and professional and we are happy with the price.z

The price was as quoted, even though one had to be accessed behind our clothes dryer, through the wall. I am very happy with their work, and I finally have a plumber I can trust. Description of Work: I called and asked Jerry for a price. He give me a price that I was comfortable with and we agreed on a date and time to do the work. He and his partner arrived at the time he indicated and finished the job to our satisfaction the same day. They were professional and cleaned up thoroughly when done. He presented me a bill at a few dollars less than the agreed upon quote. We are extremely happy with the two jobs Jerry and his crew have done for us. We will happily use them in the future as plumbing issues arise.

Description of Work: Provider repaired the clothes washer drain which is a black plastic assembly. I was amazed at how quickly he made the repair...made me wish I'd watched him so I'd learn the technique :) |Gave them a "B" rating on price which may be unreasonable considering I've been out of the market for such services for a long time.

Description of Work: They purchased/provided and installed a new 50 gal water heater for us and gave us an estimate on another installation coming up. We have used them in the past and have always had great service.

Description of Work: I bought a new dishwasher and had it installed by the big box chain store I bought it from, unfortunately,there was no plumbing connections on the drain beneath the sink. I called J&K Plumbing, but they had someone on vacation and couldn't get to my job for a week or more. I never received another phone call, they just showed up one day to fix it and I didn't know they were coming. He didn't have the parts he needed in his truck so he needed to get them and come back. I didn't know when he was coming back, someone just showed up again a couple days later during business hours. I appreciated them coming but it would have been nice to know that they WERE coming back and also when. I thought it was pricey for what was done which was installing a new basket strainer and dishwasher drain, they weren't here more than 15 minutes but I needed it done.

Description of Work: He removed the pipes left over from an old water softener and installed a new stainless steel laundry sink that I had on hand. He did good work, but I thought the charge of $200 just for installing the new sink, which took about half an hour was too much. I might use him again, because he did good work, but my old plumber who was out with a back injury also does good work and for less money.

Description of Work: Septic system backed-up. The cause was tree roots over a 30 year period of time had migrated in and around the lid of our first outflow tank. The clog was cleared and roots cut out. The following day I had a tree service remove the tree. The problem was resolved quickly and efficiently.

Description of Work: Fixed a toilet that was constantly running, also for a courtesy he also fixed another toilet that the seat was coming off.
