I?ve used them once off of Angie?s List and because there was an issue with one of the things they did I had to call them back. When they came back I had them do some additional work also. The second time, the kitchen faucet was leaking and he looked at it and determined that it wasn?t their fault. It needed a part that wasn?t on there before. So I was charged for the part and the labor to correct the problem. I also had them do the other toilet when they came out the second time. The first time they charged me about $370 and the second time they charged me close to $200. The first time the son of the owner came out. I was very pleased with his work except that the faucet had started to leak after he left. I also did not get a break on that. But I went on and had them correct the issue anyway. It was almost like I had to start from scratch. The second time, the father who is the owner came out and he looked at what the son did. He determined that there was a part that should have been on my hardware underneath the sink that was causing the leak and that it wasn?t from what his son had done earlier. They were both very professional. I would use them again.

They came as soon as I needed them the same day, after inquiring with them the previous day about pricing and availability. They were able to do the job in about 1.5 hrs and for half the cost that another local (well advertised) plumbing company bid on. We were so happy with the job, punctuality (they travelled from Auburn to Burien for the job), and the overall quality of work. THANKS!

Jerry came out quickly and gave us a fair quote. His team started within a few days. They were prompt, neat, and knowlegable. Work was done all in one day except the shower door installation. They had tried to use our old door but it would not quite fit. Jerry went off to locate or order one and actually returned the following day (Saturday) to install. Would use J & K Plumbing again without any hesitation!

I appreciated the thought that J&K put into the entire job. I don't know if the price was high ($1,200 for the Water heater) was high. I needed the washer repiped - old pipes went around the house instead of under the house - and because the heater was old, it needed be replaced once it was moved around. The team came in, did the repairs they said they would, and left everything clean. Most of all, they had provided a sense of trust and doing the job completely. Having dealt with others before, trust was the most important element I needed.

Jerry arrived early! I explained what was happening (water cascading down the walls of the downstairs bath when draining the kitchen sink) He did his detective work - cutting holes in the bathroom ceiling, and then digging under the sink. He told me it would cost about $450.00 to do this start to finish. He cut the hole, replaced the pipe, repositioned the insulation and reattached the siding. The whole thing was probably a little over an hour from start to finish. I admit, that we do still have the holes in the ceiling the bathroom. He was friendly and very professional. I learned that this is a real family business. His father and mother are J and K. He is J Jr. I was very pleased with the price and the work that was done.

Overall they did a great job and I was very satisfied with the work. Their price is very fair compared to other licensed and bonded plumbers. The only quote that beat them was an unlicensed individual.

Jerry and his crew did an excellent job installing new plumbing for our master bath rebuild - more than a remodel! the work was great and he was flexible to our requests We asked him back to install a new tankless gas water heater to accommodate the new bath tub. The work was quick, on time and jerry was completley professional and trustworthy through the experience. Great person to work with.

Our basement is unfinished and my husband noticed a small amount of water leakage onto the basement floor when the master bedroom toilet was flushed. He suspected the wax seal had broken down. We checked Angie's List reports and selected J & K Plumbing, which is near where we live. They made an appointment for the next day. Jerry Church and an assistant, Les, arrived at the appointed time. Jerry inspected the plumbing from below and gave us an estimate at their minimum charge of $163.20. They removed the toilet and reset it with a new wax ring and new bolts, which solved the problem. The firm's 10% senior discount offset the sales tax, so the final cost was at the estimate level. Shortly after the service we received a stamped, addressed postcard from the company thanking us for our business and asking for an evaluation of their service. We appreciated their concern for quality service so completed and returned the card.

Did not charge after driving out to take a look at a problematic shower. Was a simple fix but definately earned my business the next time I need a plumber.

We had a leak in our upstairs shower drain and one day it was noticable on our kitchen ceiling downstairs. When I called to schedule an appt, they were booked for that day, but very quickly I received a call back and they had a cancellation, so they came that afternoon. Jerry Church was very professional and explained why we had the leak, how it was going to be repaired and the cost. He took into consideration that we would have patch the ceiling, so he made a very clean cut into the drywall, and made it as small as he could. He completed the work in about 45 minutes. I would call them again in a heartbeat.

They never responded to my phone calls.

Jerry showed up on time. I was on the phone when he arrived and he graciously waited for me to finish the business at hand. He was able to get the old bib out of the wall and the new bib installed with no cosmetic damage to the wall. He had all the parts and tools neccessary to complete the job with him when he arrived. J&K is #1 on my list should I need a plumbers services in the future.

Arrived the next day promptly at 8:30 a.m. Diagonsed problem, offered to replace old disposal which was on its way out, and did the job within an hour.

A wobbly toilet that was leaking around the edges is now solidly in place and no longer leaking - from start to finish, that about covers it. Work done promptly and well.

He arrived early, told me how much it would cost, and got right to work. In about an hour, all four spots were repaired and the water turned back on.

My husband called and Jim Church was available the very next day. He arrived, presenting his card and introduced himself at the door, on time, calling a few minutes ealier to give us a head's up. We showed him the problem and he gave us a solution and an estimate and he got straight to work. He was completely comfortable with us looking over him to learn how attach the sink plumbing because we knew we would run into the same problem for another sink in the house that hope to complete ourselves. The toilet leak wasn't from a leaky flange as we feared, just that two wax rings were needed not the normal one; this caused the bill to be even lower than his original estimate.

I called in the afternoon, and Jerry was able to come out the same day. He was courteous and professional, and got the job done very quickly. I would not hesitate to call on J & K Plumbing in the future.

We called Monday morning, and they were able to get a tech out to us by 3:00 that afternoon, which worked out great as that is about the time my husband gets home from work. The tech was waiting at the curb when my husband pulled into the driveway, looked at the job, told us exactly what the cost would be, then proceeded with the work immediately. He had all the necessary tools and parts and was professional and efficient - done in a little less than an hour. We are very happy with the work.

As he was working on my dish washer, he found out that there was extensive damage and fixed the problem. We kept finding other things to be fixed and he was quite happy to work on. He was professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of his work was good and I was satisfied with his service.

Good Job! Jerry was punctual and professional in his work and his dealings with me. J&K's price was the best from the many bids I received. I felt I could trust him in my house and any problems that occurred with the job were quickly rectified. The workmanship was outstanding and done on time. I intend on having Jerry back to do the plumbing on my forthcoming kitchen remodel. Highly recommended!

Jerry Church arrived on time, looked at the work that needed to be done, and gave me a very resonable estimate. Gave him approval. He worked quickly, cleanly, and did top quality work. He was professional, personable, and was obviously very, very experienced at his trade.

I contacted the company via phone on a Thursday and spoke with Jerry Church. I explained the problems and he said he or one of his employees would be there the next day (Friday). I told him that I had to leave early due to a previous appointment but that there would be others that could direct him to the restroom and the repairs. I also told him that an estimate was not necessary and to proceed with the repairs. At all times, Jerry was very professional and personable on the phone. I felt confident that I'd called the right person. Les (Church?) came as expected on Friday and performed the repairs. I've since examined them and they look professional and proper. New seal was applied, caulking applied, area was cleaned up and nothing is leaking. That's all you can hope for, I think. The cost ($163 for the repair of the wall-hanging toilet and $188 for the spud repair) were quite fair as I'd paid another company over $300 just to fix the wall-hanger over a year ago.

Other plumbing companies we called acted ridiculously regarding the water pressure problem. Indeed one company wanted to replace or clean out all the pipes in the house for $2300 and wanted another $919 in "parts" to replace the pressure reducing valve - available at Home Depot for $150 or so; now obviously unnecessary. Although J & K gave us a more-or-less satisfactory solution, their prices, I thought, were high. Two men for under an hour and one for an additional half-hour somehow came to almost $400.

The old plastic valve and water line started to leak when we were having a new dishwasher installed. I called Jerry and they came out the same day, at the time they said they would be there, and installed the new valve and water line, and finished the installation of the new dishwasher. They were very courteous and completed the work quickly. I would not hesitate to call them again.

They showed up on time. They were knowledgeable and knew what needed to be done. They were nice and they cleaned up after themselves. They did not charge the service fee which could have been an added $60.
