J & k came in with the lowest bid. Wes came in and did a complete rip out in one day. He was very professional. He acted like he really knew what he was doing. When Wes ran the new water line, it was the neatest and most well thought of installation I've ever seen. I was really pleased with every aspect of J & K's work. I am going to use them again in the near future to install my gas lines.

This is the 3rd time we've used J & K Plumbing. The first time Jerry came out, he removed and replaced the hose bib on our back yard faucet. The pipe had frozen. He had to go in through the kitchen sink cabinet to get to it. When we had the same symptoms on our front yard faucet, we knew who to call. He had to go in through a garage wall the 2nd time. He cleaned up and patched very well both times. Over Thanksgiving we noticed a slow leak under the kitchen sink. We called Jerry Church again. He diagnosed the problem as being a leak in the faucet's retractable hose. He wasn't able to repair it because our faucet and hose are specialty items that would have to come from the manufacturer. When I asked how much we owed him for coming out, he said he wasn't charging us! Nice! Jerry Church, J & K Plumbing, is honest, prompt and professional. I highly recommend them, and would definitely use them again.

The work was done promptly and done very well. The job required accessing the city water main about 2' below the surface, digging a trench about 15' long and that approached 4' in depth, getting through and atop an appx. 8' dirt and rock wall, under a sidewalk and then through a concrete basement wall where it was connected to the household supply. The outdoor piping also had to be interfaced with an irrigation system hookup. It was a big job that was completed in a single day by three industrious, pleasant, and knowledgeable tradesmen and the results were very professional. No more worries about a nearly 75 year-old water supply springing a leak and causing serious damage. Our only complaint is that the line got some dirt in it, an event I actually managed to witness by luck as they were in the middle of the installation, which then partially plugged nearly every interior water outlet: three faucets and a toilet bowl supply. They cleaned out all the faucets which was a bit of a hassle for us in needing to ready the areas where the water supply connected, and the problem with the toilet was not discovered until they were long gone and the toilet now takes a long time to refill, fortunately. It's not any real problem, but to fix it will be a fair amount of work since it must start with draining all the water out. They attributed all of the occlusions to the increased water pressure loosening the build-up of minerals, etc. on the interior water pipes, undoubtedly a factor, but denied they got dirt in the line. It didn't really matter, a plugged faucet is a plugged faucet regardless of how it got that way, and I can understand them not wanting to admit an error on their part, but it irritates me a bit. Nonetheless, I was so impressed by the quality and workmanship of what they did that this small irritant is merely that, a bug bite. I would certainly contact them again for any bid I might need for plumbing installation or repair.

I had a remodel performed on my kitchen and three bathrooms. J&K were hired to hook up the new fixtures (kitchen faucets, two showers, two bathtubs, four bathroom sinks) and replaced the piping under the cabinets for all sinks. In addition, they cleared some extensive drain blockage for the two bathtubs. I was very impressed with their workmanship, and they got along great with the granite contractor I hired (Granite Transformations). My grade on price is more a reflection of my shock on plumbing rates these days, and not a direct reflection on J&K per se. Fox Plumbing and several others also charged similar rates. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to call J&K again.

I found him on Angie's List and called him on Monday to see if he was available. He called back that evening and scheduled an appointment for the next day to check the leaking outsie faucet. He came out at 8:30 the next morning as promised. In addition to fixing the faucet, he agreed to work on the shower and install the water filter. He was prompt, professional, and did good work. I am making a list of other items I need done and will hire him again.

It was a great experience. It ws only a fuse, but they found it quickly and even left a spare on the chance it blew again.

Called several companies for estimates, $400-1600 to fix rotten flange. Joined Angie's. Called J & K, est. $300, arrived on time, done < 1 hr. Professional, 10% discount being old fart.

Called three plumbing companies for price and availability. J&K had the earliest availability and gave equal pricing for potential causes and fixes. Jerry arrived during the one hour window. Source of leak was found and he installed a new drain, Ptrap and jointed the pipes together. All of this was under 1 hour. No more leaks. They were the only company offering 1 year warranty on labor, others were 30-60 days. Cost seemed a bit high for an hour of work but was comparable.

Very great service. I called to ask about an estimate. He came out same day and had it fixed in a jiff. Would definitely use again.

In the middle of having our bathroom remodeled, our contractor pointed out that the current water lines did not match up to the new shower water control valve. I worried that I could not find a good plumber to come out quickly. I looked on Angie's List was was impressed by the ratings that J & K Plumbing had received. Also I liked that they are a small local company. I called them and spoke with Jerry Church. He said they could come out the next day in the afternoon and gave me a cost estimate on the phone. The next afternoon his son Jerry came to our house. He was very pleasant and got right to work. He knew exactly what to do and had the job done in just over an hour. He didn't an excellent job. So now our remodel is still on schedule thanks to their prompt response. Best of all the invoice was less than the phone estimate. He automatically gave us a senior discount, too. We feel the cost was very reasonable. We will definitely use J & K Plumbing and wil recommended them to our friends.

I called early on the morning before the work was actually done. I was told that they could be out that day to check on what I needed done. They arrived right at the time specified. They checked out my original problem and diagnosed the addirions I came up with. They gave me an estimate and said they could start the next morning upon agreement. I agreed and they were on-site promptly at the time specified. The job took most of the day, including several un-scheduled trips to the parts store for washers and parts. There was not extra charge and no mileage charges. Everything was very thoroughly tested prior to all of us being satisfied. We even ran a load through the washing machine to test their work. We are extremely pleased with what they did. They even went the extra mile of replacing an outside faucet that they put in which was the wrong size. They came back the following day to put in the right one. I told the guys that they felt like family, which is one of the reasons I accepted their estimate. It was a most enjoyable experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

They arrived at the appointed time. Were very professional. Were very clean and cleaned up afterward. I very good experience. Reasonable price. I'd definitely use them again.

When I was paying my water bill to the city of Black Diamond Saturday night, I noticed that my monthly water consumption had doubled in the last month. There had been no changes to our lifestyle (watering the yard, additional laundry or guests showering etc..), so I knew I likely had a water leak somewhere. When I got home at around 10pm I immediately went out to the water meter (with all the fixtures in the house "off") to see if the meter was still spinning. To my surprise, when I lifted off the cover and looked down into the hole, the meter was completely covered in standing water! At that point I knew I had nearly pinpointed the leak, but hadn't located it exactly enough to know if it was my responsibility or the city's. I initially called the city's emergency / after hours utility response hotline. The gentleman there (Jason) was also very helpful and was able to come out the next morning at 8am to take a look. In the mean time I scooped out about 5 gallons of mud and water from the hole to expose the meter and incoming and outgoing lines. After looking at the situation, we pinpointed the leak (cracked check valve housing) and it was indeed on my side of the meter. We also discovered that the city-side shut off valve did not close 100%, so there was no way to completely stop the water flow. I called Les at J&K since they had done an entire re-pipe of my house about a year and a half prior. It was Sunday morning at about 8:30, but Les cheerfully came out within an hour and got down to business. Because of the state of the city-side shut-off valve, there was a bit of collaboration involved between the Jason and Les. Jason installed a "riser" for the meter, which incorporates a new shut off valve downstream of the old one, and also incorporates an integral check valve, meaning we didn't have to try to find a replacement for the cracked on. Les did have to excavate out several feet to access the water main to make up new connections to the new meter and splice in a new section of line. He did it all cheerfully and was done within an hour and a half. The icing on the cake was that he didn't charge me anything, saying that it was all part of the job that they had done a year and half ago. While I was impressed with the service I got from J&K the first time (re-piping the house), this experience even further elevates my opinion of these guys. I would definitely recommend them without reservation.

The project was a complete re-piping of the home which included the kitchen,1 1/2 baths, garage with washer , replacing the water heater and front & back outside hose bibs. It was a two day project. Jerry was cordial and courteous and we felt very comfortable having him in our home. We were impressed at how much he had accomplished while cleaning up each area never leaving a mess. In the two day process, the garage and kitchen re-piping was completed the first day and we had full water in the home (including both bathrooms that night) This was a definite plus. The second day Jerry had some help to finish which included testing everything and insulating all the pipes. I think its important to mention that I had some insulation and dry wall repairs to do behind the water heater and washing machine. He worked around me and everything really went smoothly. We would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. We chose the company from Angie's list and glad we did.

The plumber came very quickly, just as quickly diagnosed the problem. This turned out to be a quite simple issue that we feared would be a very big deal.

The plumber who came to our house was very professional and also very friendly. He had to spend the majority of his time doing our repair work while in our cramped crawlspace, Repair was done quickly and well and he even gave us tips on how not to have this problem happen again in the future. You gotta love that !!! We had him give us an estimate on another (non-emergent) job and will definitely call them to do the work.

They did a great job. They cleaned up all evidence of a mess that was made cutting through the sheetrock and moving the plumbing. I did my own sheetrock repairs after they were gone. They were fast, punctual and didn't leave a mess. They were also very professional.

I noticed the heavy leak under my sink on Sunday evening and placed a call to J&K Plumbing Monday morning and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday morning. Prior to J&K's arrival I researched the type of leak associated with my garbage disposal and knew it wasn't fixable. Jerry arrived a little earlier than scheduled but that was good. He confirmed the need to replace the disposal and got right to work. Services were completed in less than 40 minutes and Jerry took the old machine and left everything clean. I was a little surprised at the amount of the quote, but after a little research online I learned he installed top quality equipment (much better than the previous disposer). This is our second time using J & K Plumbing. Their business card is taped to the inside of my cabinet door. Happy customer...again.

The work was done as expected. Unexpected problems with the toilet flange were handled smoothly and professionally. They didn't complain about having to crawl around in our dirty crawlspace!

wWe had a very good experience with J&K Plumbing. He was on time and very professional. He had to cut a piece of drywall out of the bathroom wall to get to the plumbing, to remove outside faucet. He did a great and professional job. He put the drywall back together..I spakled and painted the drywall myself. It only took a half hour and was easy to do. I would hire J&K Plumbing again in a heartbeat. They were professional and the price was very reasonable.

Called and scheduled appointment which was the very next morning. He explained what the problem was and had the parts on hand and did the repairs and cleaned up as if he hadn't been there. Very professional, friendly and prompt.

The plumbing issue I had was with low water pressure in a single shower unit. I called J&K plumbing and made an appointment to have someone come and see what the issue was. I did not have to navigate a phone tree nor was I placed on hold. Jerry arrived a few minutes ahead of the appointed time. I showed him the problem and in 20 minutes he had located and corrected the fault. I found Jerry to be professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I also feel the price I paid was quite reasonable. I believe I will use J&K for my household plumbing needs going forward.

I called J and K plumbing to fix a mess left by a different unlicensed plumber. We were working on a kitchen remodel and needed to add a water line for the fridge, lower the plumping for the new sink and disposal and hook up the sink and dishwasher once the kitchen model was complete. The first plumber that was recommended by word of mouth and not Angie's List ended up getting a stop work order on our remodel. Jerry was fast, efficient and professional. He was able to work with the Town of Steilacoom on a permit issue and fix the leak left by the other plumber as well as complete all the necessary work to finish our kitchen remodel. It was a great experience and we would gladly call them again if we needed as well as recommend them.
