If you are looking to build a home stay away from Hiline homes. I contacted them in October to find out if they would customize one of their floor plans for me and inquired about the cost. They started out low with their first estimate never saying that they could or would not build it for me. Each time I talked to them their price went up finally at the end of December I said yes to the quoted price and it took them over three weeks to get back to me. They then set me up with a salesman who tried to get me to purchase extras I did not want, at which time they proceeded to tell me that unless I increased my budget they would not build it for me at their quoted price. I never changed anything about my plan from the moment I first presented it to them. This I think is outrageous, that they have wasted three months of my life with them when I could have been pursuing other builders.
