I have no idea why this company doesn't have positive reviews on Angie's list but I had a great experience with them. My wife and I are doing a remodel on a 1922 house that had asbestos and lead. We contacted several asbestos abatement companies and, right off the bat, FS & GS stood out as the most responsible and professional. They came out to our house and gave us an estimate. They were reasonable with their pricing and came out and did the work that we agreed to (on time). I was consistently pleasantly impressed with not only how professional they were but also with how good (and thorough) of a job they did with the lead and asbestos removal. I would come by the site every night, after they left, and the site was so clean that you almost couldn't tell that they can been there. I spoke to many of the crew and they were all nice and responsive to my concerns. They completed the work that they said that they would and did a great job. Although I don't ever want to deal with asbestos again, I would totally hire these guys again, if the need arose. We had two rooms demo'd, with asbestos removed from one, and all of our siding removed, as it contained lead paint.

Scheduled an on site visit to assess the testing for lead paint and asbestos. I was in hurry but I have accepted a date 6 days later (most companies in the Seattle are will do the testing on the next day) The guy called the day of the meeting a few hours before the meeting saying he cant meet but he will call later. He did call the next day and asked what was that I wanted to do (I thought we had this covered already in our previous phone calls?!?!) and we need not to meet but he sent the offer by email. The offer was for asbestos testing only, did not contain lead testing. I have replied to his email and never heard back from him ... If you want non-responsiveness and lack of punctuality - this seems the provider of your choice.

Each of my experiences has been nothing but positive. The employees are friendly, professional, responsive. I highly recommend this company!

We moved out for a few days while they sealed off the house and did their work. They never called us to let us know when they were done or when it was safe to re-enter. They never returned our key. At the end of the last scheduled day, I went to the house to check on their progress and found it empty. I had to call around and track down some manager, who was leaving on vacation to get assurances that it was safe to enter. The entire point of this service is high precision removal of a dangerous substance. Upon entering the house it was visually obvious that the promised levels of precision and care had not been applied. Asbestos laden material from the ceiling was smeared on walls, door frames and other surfaces. It was also apparent that some of the workers had been careful about preserving the underlying drywall while some had not, as certain rooms had many deep gouges (despite the underlying material and conditions being the same throughout the house).
