Fine Design Interior Remodeling

I hired Fine design to enlarge my kitchen and put in hardwood floors throughout my downstairs. It was an extensive work project, for the kitchen was doubled in size, and I couldn't be happier with the results, the quality of work, and their professionalism. It was an extensive work project, and it was done beautifully. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any future remodeling I want done.

We have partnered with Fine Design on three projects to upgrade our home and we have several more planned (when budget permits). Fine Design has professionally and beautifully held our hand through every phase on each project. They have made recommendations that meet our budget, timeline and aesthetic desires. We bought our house 26 years ago. Fine Design has responded brilliantly as our family dynamic and design direction has evolved.

We love our remodeled bathroom! This was our first time professionally remodeling an entire room. The Fine Design team really understood what we wanted & were so helpful in picking out the best finishes while staying within our budget. Their years pf experience & expertise were greatly appreciated in helping us map out the project & understand the time line for completion. The finishing work on tile, sheet rock & paint are exceptional. The entire team was friendly, professional & went above and beyond to be respectful of our home. They made it a great experience. Highly recommend!!

Fine design not only met all of our needs, they actively worked with us when inevitable hiccups occurred. We were so comfortable with the quality of their work and their commitment to high quality outcomes that we added on one project after another (including a full kitchen remodel). Patti is incredibly knowledgeable and is passionate about her work. Her team members are all highly skilled and dependable. They were always polite and friendly in our home.

Fine Design just finished a master bath remodel for us...We are beyond happy with the final results. Jacqueline was our designer and project manager. We gave her some ideas and a budget. She came back with a perfect design and color scheme for our master bath. There were some COVID related materials delay that she navigated as best she could and in the end delivered a really nice finished product for us. No hidden or surprise charges and every quote was exactly how it appeared on the job bid. Patty, the owner, checked on the project several times along the way and made a some great suggestions that we had the choice to add on as the project came together. Clayton and the Fine Design team along with any of the sub contractors that were needed, were always professional, on time, and really skilled. The may seem expensive, but you definitely get your wallets worth! We look forward to having Fine Design do more for us in the future!

I rarely give 5-star reviews for anything (in fact, the team at Fine Design might be surprised to learn this is a 5-star review given how picky I am!). However, we have now used Fine Design for two large jobs - a primary bathroom and closet, and now the entire first floor of our home - and have been thrilled with the experience. We chose Fine Design out of a shortlist of 3 contractors for our bathroom/closet job. They were priced similarly to other mid-high-end remodeling companies, but seemed to deliver superior results compared with the others *and* offered in-house design services to ensure the vision and the execution matched. We've been very happy with the craftsmanship, quality, and aesthetics of the bathroom and closet. When we decided to get a quote for our first floor remodel, there was no shortlist: we were either going to use Fine Design this year or save until we could use them in the future. We're about halfway into that job now, and it's coming together with the signature level of quality we've come to expect from Fine Design. We're excited to see what things look like when the job is done, but already feel like we'll be living in a new home! I'd be remiss if I didn't explicitly mention one of my favorite things about Fine Design: every remodeling job comes with hiccups and unexpected/unpleasant surprises. I've consistently been impressed with the gracefulness of the team's recovery from these hurdles. When the underlying cause is outside their control, Fine Design is forthcoming about the issue they've uncovered, and often brings several options to the table to discuss (complete with a quote for each, if additional costs are required). If the underlying cause is due to a mistake on their part - which happens rarely but does happen in large-scale jobs with lots of moving pieces - the Fine Design team is quick to take ownership over resolving the issue, and consistently goes "above and beyond" to ensure customer satisfaction. There are only two reasons I'd choose a different contractor for future interior remodeling jobs: 1) Fine Design finally gets fed up with me and tells me I'm too difficult to work with. This would probably be justified, honestly. 2) Fine Design goes out of business. I sure hope neither of these things happen. I'll use them for all my South Sound remodeling needs - for as long as they'll let me - and wholeheartedly recommend them for yours, too.

We hired the Fine Design team for what we considered to be big projects that included a full bathroom remodel, shower addition to a half bathroom, building out a mudroom and loft spaces, and then finishing work to blend those areas in seamlessly with the rest of our home. The process and the end results were fantastic! Patty, Clayton, and the whole team were pleasant, responsive, and true professionals. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship are second to none. If you're looking for an interior remodeling company, beware of contractors that underbid and then perform subsequent shoddy work. We've had experience with those, as well. With Fine Design, we received a high quality product at fair market value, which in the end, is what I think most people want.

It went great! Sarah our designer came out to our home to take measurements and get our ideas. This information was used for her to draw up a great plan. We went to their office and showroom to review drawings and plans and also selected colors and hardware. Very impressed with quality of work, attention to details and professionalism from ALL (paint, electrical, plumbing, hardwoods, cabinets, appliances and counter top installations). Patty the owner also checked in with us to ensure everything was going well. We were kept informed from Sarah with scheduling of what was happening next and it was great letting them manage the whole process as we had gone through a stressful time with our water leak damage and trying to work with our insurance Company. Sarah and Fine Design were very helpful providing detail and work needed to be preformed. I would highly recommend Fine Design and we look forward to having them back to remodel our main bathroom hopefully in 2021! They are a great Company and we enjoyed the entire process with each of the folks involved in our remodel. Terry & Mary S.

The team completed a significant remodel of our master bathroom. We truly enjoyed working with their entire team. Very professional and detail oriented. I was very overwhelmed by all the choices and decisions and Patty really helped narrow things down for me. This is our first project and plan to have them help us with others.

My wife and I know next to nothing about remodeling. We weren't even sure what we wanted when we started. But the team at Fine Design Interior Remodeling listened deeply to what we liked and how we wanted to use the space and came up with plans that delighted both of us. Have I mentioned that my wife and I have very different tastes and styles? Patty was collaborative, gracious, and diplomatic. We love our bathrooms! We'd absolutely hire them again!

We are very pleased with how the remodel project went. It turned out beautiful and we had a good relationship with the team. With a large project there can be glitches but they were always addressed and fixed promptly. We would definitely use Fine Design again.

We were very happy with Fine Designs, the design and planning process was easy. The remodel job was hampered by weather a bit and the shower unit was late but overall the job was excellent. They were able to fix other problems that were uncovered when doing the demo work. We love our new kitchen!

Fine Design is truly a talented and professional company. We were satisfied with this remodel from start to finish. It started out great but ended in a nightmare! The owner turned out to be unprofessional and the tile installer did not do quality work, worked only 4 hours a day, 4 days a week and one week only 3 days. Nick started by washing a lot of small glass pieces into my front lawn after he cut the glass tiles! Then he washed the grout water and some grout into the front yard! After that he managed to somehow slice my hardwood floor near the bathroom! The quality of the actual tile work was also not quality work. The shampoo caddies are not square and the bottom shelf is not even flat. I had to vacuum the front yard to get the glass pieces out because the owners did not think it was an issue that needed to be dealt with right away. The job that was supposed to take 3 weeks actually took 8 weeks due in part to the tile installers schedule and the owner’s poor scheduling of everything else. After the bathroom was tiled, Nick had the nerve to add about $3995 to the bill! In the end Patty only made excuses for any of the problems with the subcontractors and actually got upset with me for being upset especially about the tile work. When it was time to pay the final bill, Patty was very argumentative and was very upset when I questioned the additional $3,995! I just wanted everything to be over with by then and did not intend to argue. I paid the bill just to get her out of the house. In reality the original contract amount really meant nothing to them. Beware!

They did a great job, really listened to our needs and were flexible when we had a need to alter the schedule. I would recommend Fine Design to anyone who is looking for a qualified and skilled contractor.

It was a major renovation. Actually considered a new build. Our complaint was the over spraying of paint with all the molding around the doors and floors.

Both phases were performed on-time, on-budget with upbeat professional services. The team on the job clearly knew each other for prior work and know how each other work; this added to great flexibility with their tasks to accommodate and meet the overall schedule. It was AMAZING to work with Patty and her team; one call was all that was needed, to one person and the entire team knew what needed to occur (an excellent 'orchestra' leader). So many positives, if we had to summarize...."Imaginative and patient with a wonderful personal, 'can do' touch". Highly recommend.

Patti and Clayton and their crews did a wonderful job on our complete kitchen remodel. They took time to understand our needs for handicap accessibility and made several suggestions that saved us money. I would definitely use them again.

We were very pleased with the process as well as the finished product. Sarah was absolutely fabulous as a designer - as well as a project manager. She communicated well, ensured everything was done to our satisfaction, and designed a kitchen that suited our home and family. The rest of the team was also outstanding, and we'd use them all again if we undertake another project.

Extremely professional design, demolition and installation services were provided by the firm and their contractors. Their staff of sub contractor trades (both in house and outside subs) were outstanding, courteous and professional. Design proposals and materials recommended fit the various projects perfectly. When there was a question or concern it was resolved with one call and promptly by the design lead Sarah Ames. Living in the house during this multi phase project was made much more tolerable by their staff and contractors. All of my design objectives were both achieved and exceeded. I am pleased to wholeheartedly recommend Fine Design Interior Remodeling.
