Dennis was responsive, thorough, and very helpful. He went through all the options, potential concerns and how to negotiate with L&I. I feel like I got exactly what I called for, and I would definitely use this contractor in the future.

Excellent! I Called on Monday, got an estimate on Tuseday and the work was completed on Wednesday. Brian was fantastic. We will keep Emerald State Electirc in mind for anything that comes up!

Dennis, the owner, and Nick , his apprentice, were most professional and knowledgeable. Any electrical code violations they found, they told me about and how it could be fixed. This was a remodeled 1956 house and what was behind the walls and in the attic was not done even close to any electrical code. Dennis and Nick worked hard for two days and did an outstanding job. I will recommend them to friends and family, and anyone needing any electrical work. He charged a very reasonable price for a difficult job. All the "wiring surprises" he found were met with professional and electical code solutions. If I could rate them A+ in all of the categories, I would.

Brian the electrician did great! He was prompt, worked quickly and accurately, and explained what he found that was done wrong by the previous company. The owner of Emerald State Electric, Dennis, was also great. He set up the appointment for the next morning after I called. He was tremendously professional in understanding what needed to be done, explained what would be done, and what the costs would be. I highly recommend Emerald State Electric.

When I first called him to set up an appointment time he took my credit card over the phone for a deposit. I asked if the $50 would come off my bill and he said "no, that's my trip charge". His service is listed in the same area I live, I don't understand why there should be a trip charge. He came out on the day the service was scheduled and installed my new LED light that I had purchased in my laundry room. I then had him install the solar powered light onto the side of my house. He had billed me for 1.5 hours of labor when it only took him 52 minutes to perform the service. Adding in the original $50 I paid him for scheduling, my total bill came out to $210. I had asked about the 10% discount that I saw in the Angie's List magazine and he said that it was already applied to my service. I feel like he took advantage of me and my husband since we are both handicapped. Two nights had passed since the service was completed and I noticed that where I had the light installed, it was dark both nights. It has been sunny all day for those days and come to find out, he never flipped the on/off switch on the solar light!

Dennis and his apprentice arrived for our appointment a few minutes early. Dennis fully discussed exactly what I wanted done and then clearly went over the alternaives and costs. After the job was agreed upon he and his apprentice went right to work...They worked well together and were very efficient with the end result being a very professional job.

Dennis and his apprentice were awesome. Showed up on time and worked hard both days they were out here. We had 6 ceiling fans installed plus added some additional outlets in the utility room. Will definitely call them again for any future electrical work we might need.

We are very happy with the work done. Dennis was skilled and professional in his assessment of our needs. He made suggestions what we needed to reach our goals. He was able to provide us with a reasonable quote and to schedule the work exactly when we needed it to be done. This was a two-day job. We appreciate the fact he and his helper kept the work areas clean as they worked and cleaned up when they were done. They took time to explain what they had done so that we knew how the new system would work. We are very happy that we used this company.

The job was analyzed to identify the most efficient routing of the wiring. When it was found that a wire under the house was best this was done quickly. The job was finished with minimal fuss and the service was great. Demeanor is very cordial and professional. I would recommend this service to AL clients.

Dennis came out and did an electrical inspection,ue was punctual and honest. He told me what was really needed to be change instead of forcing me into buying service. Very perfessional and answer all questions asked.

Dennis arrived on time on the specified date, but his assistant was unavailable to join him. Dennis removed and replaced one of the four fans we needed taken care of, then noted that he would be working far longer than we had discussed and asked if we could reschedule for a few days later when his assistant would be available, offering a 10% discount for the inconvenience. Dennis and his assistant returned a few days later, the remaining three fans were taken care of in no time at all, and the only sign that they had been there was the quiet when one of the fans was turned on. Dennis is very conscientious and reliable at his craft. I would highly recommend Emerald State Electric.

Very professional and knowledgeable !

I eMailed Dennis and sent a picture of our problem , we scheduled NEXT DAY with him and he arrived right on time, fixed our problem within 2 hours, and went above what was asked of him (hooked up the plug to our new oven) since there was time left on 'the clock'. We are remodeling a kitchen, and he suggested a solution to our placement of a electical box that made much more sense, and made the placement of our kitchen cabinets a breeze. His work was to code, quick, neat and fast. I HIGHLY recommend this young man, and will definitely call him again!

It was great! Our power went out a week after the installation, but the system worked perfectly. Furthermore, the technicians were courteous and polite when they were at the house.
