+ -1 moreThey were able to come out within one week. The fence was completed in 3-4 days. The only obstacles that caused a delay were the weather (rain go figure) and our neighbors didn't tie up their dogs even though I personally asked them to along with a written letter with dates and contact info. The crew contacted me about the dogs and they left a note on my neighbor's door, they were able to finish the fence the following day.
Description of Work: We replaced 119' of cedar fencing as well as a 4' gate at our home in Auburn WA.

+ -1 moreUpdate: Todd called me and rectified the situation. I will use them again in the future. The fence is very nice and well constructed.
Description of Work: I'm actually "on the fence" about using Crown again. There was a lot of phone tag prior to getting scheduled, which was sort of fine since I had some other things that needed to be completed before they put in the fence, but it would've been nice to have had a firm estimate early on so I could plan my projects better. There was a delay between tear-down and build due to rain. The fence was built nicely and the minor deck repair was better than requested. | |The big negative is one side of the fence was pushed back about 6-12" and the fence was not reattached to the neighbor's fence on either side. The side with the 6-12" gap is an issue as the neighbor has a dog. I was told they would come out to correct on Monday, but that was over a week ago. I left a message and received no response. So, I'm sort of stuck and unsure how to fix the big gap left, plus the poor dog is being tied up on the balcony and cries often as it can't roam freely in the yard. I had planned on giving Crown an excellent review until this issue went unresolved and now may not ask them to come back for any future deck projects.

+ -1 moreHe showed me that the nail lengths were not long enough, went and got proper length and renailed the boards. He removed two gate boards that were completely warped that previous contractor had put in. He was top notch, responsive, very professional. He came when he said he would. He gave me an estimate and completed the project early. And he didn't ask for any money until I was satisfied with the work.
Description of Work: He redid the larger driveway gate, put on different hinges, put cables on each gate so that cedar wood would hold up better for the gate. The smaller gate he replaced a 4x4 that was crooked and he readjusted that gate. He replaced one of the two posts that was installed crookedly.
