Jay came over to look at what we needed done. Said he would call the next day with an estimate. Never called. Left multiple messages, sent texts. Nothing. Completely ghosted us.

Called twice, left message, never received a call back.

Our project took about two years to complete. Pros: Jay does extremely high quality work. He takes care to make sure that his craftsmanship is as thorough and as professionally executed as he can make it, and sometimes even better than what we expected. He is personable and easy to work with. From time to time he made suggestions for ways to more easily accomplish some of our own projects. Cons: Jay has a difficult time accurately estimating when he can start and end a project. He sometimes disappeared for long periods of time without keeping us informed of how long he would be gone or when he expected to resume work. This was more than irritating; it was a lengthy disruption in our lives. We sometimes wondered whether he had entirely forgotten about us. As a result, the project took much longer to complete than we had expected. A note about pricing: Jay is pricey, but mostly - not always - commensurate with the quality of his work, hence the C.
