Description of Work: The owner is knowledgeable and gives good advice and seems to form a good work plan. Unfortunately, the crew that originally did our house did a rushed and sloppy job - too little raking and poor attention to sprinkler placement, for example. They have a $100 fee if the homeowner participates in the job, so we stayed away from the house when we had some additional work done. This job was absolutely not done according to the very clear and agreed-upon plans. When this was resolved under warranty, of course we were present to see that it was done right the second time. They then had the nerve to charge us $100 and argue the point. In our opinion they are a victim of their own success and are spread too thin to get good crews who can do justice to each job. We would not recommend them.

+ -1 moreAs I mentioned above, I needed to have some of my landscaping and quot;simplifiedand quot; and cleaned up. Areas were overgrown, some areas were just hard to maintain without doing daily yard work (which wasn't reasonable). I also wanted suggestions for new landscaping ideas and pruning. Aqua Lawn actually returned my call (which had not happened with all the other places I called or put requests in with), scheduled an initial appointment, showed up on time, were thorough and accommodating during the estimate process and gave me a great plan. We scheduled the time that the work would be done, we had to make a slight adjustment for weather delays for another project, and then over the course of 3-4 days they completed the job. I was very happy with the results. Everything looked clean and neat. The pruning turned out beautifully and made a definite impact in the overall appearance of my yard. I have used Aqua Lawn in the past to put in my sprinkler system and was very happy with the results, and was actually thrilled to see that they were doing landscape work since I knew I could trust them. I actually suggested that they expand to do yard maintenance work since I think they'd do a great job and I'm sure they'd have a booming business.
Description of Work: I had a number of areas in my landscaping that needed to be simplified & cleaned up. I wanted things to look neat & pretty & colorful, but not require daily upkeep that was taking hours. The weeding needed to be kept to a minimum & I also had shared borders with neighbors on both sides that were renting & not necessarily maintaining their yards which impacted my landscaping. They streamlined multiple areas & put river rock in - laying landscape fabric first & redoing all the edging. They removed some old fencing that had been left by the previous owners which totally changed the flow of the back yard. The removed a number of old overgrown rose bushes & cleaned up every garden area. This encompassed areas in the front, along the sides & in the backyard of my property. The gardens are now ready to have new planting put in this year & it has opened up so many options for how to proceed from this point, & has made the yard a much prettier & calming place to be.

+ 0 moreWe have been real pleased. They did a great job with the landscaping. They were quick, efficient and friendly. They seemed to have a good time while they were on the job. They do have expertise in lawn care and irrigation. We would recommend them. We didn't have a lot to compare the price to but it seemed pretty fair. We will continue to use them.
Description of Work: We hired Aqua-Lawn to do a landscaping job and they did some adjustments to our sprinkler system. They were last here in April to turn on the irrigation system and check it out. They checked the gauges and blew out the system to make sure that everything was working. Last summer they did the landscaping project.
