Issaquah Glass

Replaced one of two windows needed to repair. Called repeatedly regarding second window and further repairs. Came out and inspected further repairs and promised bid and install of second window. No bid. No contact. No reply to many phone calls. Truly poor service. Do not recommend.

Rep came out on time, took measurements and said he would get back to us; that was eleven days ago and we've heard nothing. On Tuesday of this week I called the office. The man said he would check and get back to us; now it's Saturday and no one has contacted us. I have to assume they just don't want our business.

Process was very easy. They set up an appointment when I first called, person showed up, measured. We got the estimate the next day. We ordered the window. They called when it was ready, set up an appointment to replace. Showed up for that appointment as expected and did great work. I came home from work and window was fixed. You would never know it was ever broken. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Very well. I've used Issaquah Glass several times over the past year to replace damaged windows. Each time they have promptly scheduled an estimate/measurement, and called me back when the glass was ready for installation. Installation went well both times. The first time, unfortunately, there was an error in measurement of some of the interior white lines in the glass; they happily redid it with no complaints or anything. Also, they also re-glased one window for free for me while they were already there.

I am baffled by the lack of response from the company. They sent someone out to give me an in-home consultation 2 weeks ago, did all the measurements and promised that they will send me a quote in a couple days. So when I didn't hear anything for a week, I called to ask about it. The lady who received my phone call said she would note it down and it'll take another couple of days. So I waited. After no contact from them for a few more days, I called again. The lady apologized and said that she'll ask Tim (whom I believe is the owner?) to send me a quote by the end of the day or call me back. But I heard nothing from them. So I made another call a couple days later. A gentleman answered, told me that Tim is in the restroom and as soon as he came out he'll ask about it and get back to me. Guess what? Nothing happened. I am just completely baffled by how they treat their customers. I wouldn't have minded if they couldn't take my business and simply communicate the fact. But now I have wasted 2 weeks waiting and my project delayed for nothing.

In short, the communication with this company was not great. I called them in the fall of 2016 to have them replace a large, custom-shaped window in the kitchen which had started to shatter. It was a tough job. Several companies had already told me that they did not feel confident taking it on. Tim told me he would take the job, but never got back to me with a quote (despite several attempts to reach him by phone, leaving messages by voice message and with his employees over a period of weeks). If he hadn't been able to do the work, he should have just let me know so I could find someone who could. I ultimately ended up working with Distinctive Glass, and they did a great job.

They talked about options including a Frame around the mirror instead of replacing. Then they disappeared. We tried several times to contact them and I presume the job wasn't big enough but they just stopped responding. Very poor professionalism. All they had to do was say that the job wasn't big enough. Just not responding we just terrible.

The assessment and replacement was performed professionally, efficiently, and effectively.

Its very hard to even find a company that works on wood windows and removes the old sill's and replaces them Saving tons of money, These guys do and they are great to work with. I would absolutely recommend these guys and would use them again. Thanks for a job well done.

They were excellent and the person that came out was very efficient and cleaned up well. He explained the work and did a good job.

We found Issaquah Glass to be very prompt, courteous, and capable. A double-paned panel of our sliding door was broken by an intruder the Monday of Christmas week. We called Issaquah Glass late on Monday afternoon. They sent an employee out the following morning to measure for a replacement window, and he also did an excellent job securing our smashed door. The scheduler called back promptly with a cost estimate for the job. Issaquah Glass put a high priority on our order which we greatly appreciated. The glass was replaced the following Monday. The installer also did a thorough job of vacuuming up the many pieces of shattered glass. We were very pleased with the service of Issaquah Glass.

The whole process to replace the glass went very smoothly. We called Issaquah glass on a Wednesday morning and they called back that night to schedule someone to come out and look at the window to take measurements. They came out the next morning to do that. We got a call the following day with an estimate and timeframe; they said it would be 1 week to get the glass. Exactly one week later they called us to say they had the glass and we had it installed the very next day.

He noticed problems which other bidders did not notice or suggest fixes for. Liked that his bid included labor and materials per window in his bid, where as bidders did not provided itemized bids per window.

Waited two weeks for the Issaquah Glass person to come out to give us an estimate. Then waited another week to finally receive an email which said they had lost some employees, he was overbooked and would not be able to give us an estimate. Then I engaged the manager/owner(?) and he said of course they want the work and would talk to the employee and call me back. He never did. I later sent him an email, no response. They had previously replaced some glass for us and installed a very nice, thick glass shower door. Don't know has happened to the company since but I would recommend potential customers to look elsewhere as I just waited an entire month on these guys.

These guys make the Obamacare website look efficient. I called to get an estimate for two windows, and the first available time was three weeks out on August 20, 2014. So it was a long wait. and quot;Kevinand quot; turned up on time, checked out the windows, and said he'd email a quote the next day or the day after at the latest. I heard nothing. So I called them to follow up on Friday, August 29th. I got their voice mail and left a message setting out clearly what had happened. Still no response 5 days later. Then I thought I should try emailing, so I went to the website address for the business given on Angie's List, only to find their account has been suspended. Yes. Voice mail only, and a suspended website account. Two red flags. So no way to email. I give up. And Angie's List needs to give up on them as well.

e called last minute and they were able to come out on short notice. They were on time, courteous and was able to get out quote to us that day. We have not has them do any work yet, so this review is just based on the interactin we has with them interms of providing an estimate.

Issaquah Glass has very experienced, professional staff. The estimator knew exactly what I needed and how to install it. The custom windows were ordered and when they came in two installers showed up exactly at the appointment time and did a great job of installing the windows. It was obvious that everyone involved had a lot of experience with windows. The tinting on the windows was a perfect match with the other windows, the sizing was correct, and the type of window was a perfect match with the other existing windows. The installation went quickly and without a hitch. I will use them in the future for any of my window or glass needs and would highly recommend them.

Whole experience was great. Had two bids and Issaquah Glass was the lower bid against a national glass company. The installer's name was Rick and he was on time, very professional, and cleaned up after himself. Definitely would use again. Thanks Angie for helping me find Issaquah Glass.

They placed the shower doors and we are very pleased with how they turned out very nice and functional.

The company came out to calculate an estimate for glass replacement in six large double-paned windows. Guy was very nice and professional. I was told I would have an estimate via e-mail that day. No estimate that day or next. Called on the third day, and an estimate was delivered. I responded to that estimate over a week ago with the go ahead and have not heard a word. I am currently using Angie's list to locate a more responsive company to replace my windows.
