First Due Movers

Today was the second time we have used First Due Movers since we were so satisfied how well our first move with them went. Both the office staff and the actual movers are very courteous and work hard , but efficiently to make your move as easy as possible.

Perfect - polite - professional. Great moving experience. I would recommend First Due Movers to all of my friends.

Great service! Efficient, took care to not damage either house or any boxes or furniture. Made sure that everything was setup how we wanted it in the house we moved to before ending the job. Came in about $500 under original quote as well.

I hired First Due for a move from Tacoma Washington to Blackfoot, Idaho. The estimate was straightforward and easy to understand. The movers were prompt, efficient, and very professional. They were on time and stuck to a schedule. They overcame obstacles at my new house with creativity and energy. I was very pleased with First Due.

Fantastic, helpful and friendly crew moved my 2 story house in just 5 hours. Not a scratch or ding to furniture, doorways or walls. I have a complicated Sleep Number adjustable bed and they carefully moved it so that most of the wiring could remain connected saving time and money. This is the 2nd time I’ve used First Due Movers and I would hire them again in the future!

Moving from 5000 sq ft to 2500 sq ft also meant a stop at a storage facility. They handled everything flawlessly. I merely opened the door for them. Told them what went where and 6 hours later, DONE!! I will be calling them back when it comes time to get my other belongings out of storage.

Absolutely terrific. They arrived on time. Brought. all materials. Wasted no time and packed everything beautifully. Day 2 they loaded and took everything to storage. They communicate clearly and check often. It was a first rate experience. Using them for the final move too.

After 24 years of living in the same house and accumulating too much stuff, it was time to move across state. The movers that showed up (Tony, Erik and Kyle) were very professional. They answered all of my questions and provided me with a sense of comfort in knowing that my belongings were in good hands. They lovingly wrapped all of my things with blankets, tape, and plastic wrap and amazingly fit everything into two trucks like a jigsaw puzzle. That took a lot of time and know-how to make sure things didn't jostle around and possibly break. On the back end of the move, these same gentleman placed every item and box in the rooms that I needed them to be in while carefully avoiding walls and doorways. They even offered to move them to a different room if I changed my mind. While I don't plan another move in the foreseeable future, I would definitely use First Due Movers again due to my personal experience as well as I love that this company is owned by true heroes, firefighters!

This was a stressful move but they made it so easy for me and I am very grateful!! I was so pleased at how well it went. They were experienced, professional, on time, and helpful. It took them less time to get my belongings moved than the quote so even less expensive than I anticipated. Would I use them again? You bet!!! I wouldn't use any other moving company! Would I recommend them? Yes, I highly recommend them to everyone!!

They are the most professional, well organized and efficient moving company I have ever dealt with. Everyone assigned to the job comes with the right attitude and always over achieves. From the initial bid to the final closeout the experience goes without a hitch. They communicate thoroughly and are completely transparent and all there activity. The team of Steve, Erik, and Mason were outstanding. They were courteous and worked at the speed and precision of a pit crew. I highly recommend them for any kind of move especially if you want someone you can trust.

Started with requesting a quote online. Got a callback within 15 minutes. Clear details about the pricing model. Really like that their transit time isn’t open ended. Next step was an inventory via zoom. Very thorough. Received the quote and booked immediately. On moving day, the client before me wrapped up early. They called and offered to start early, but no pressure. I appreciate that. Two guys showed up as expected, we walked through the details, and they got to work. They finished up in less time than the original quote, and saved me some money. In summary, everything got moved, and nothing was lost or damaged. The team was careful and courteous. I’m completely satisfied, and would highly recommend them.

From beginning to end all went very smoothly thanks to First Due Movers. All the firemen were very professional on the phone; promptly sending documents; helping with signing documents electronically; answering questions; setting convenient moving date; carefully handling items for loading and unloading truck. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and use again when needed.

Excellent and beneath estimate. The guys were so pleasant and offered tips about fire prevention re: placement of furniture. They were on time and so courteous. This was a recommendation from our realtor in Bellevue area, Anna Riley.

Arrived on time with 3 trucks and 10 Guys , all extremely personable and professional, Extra care was used in handling all items. No breakage or damage of any kind. Packed, transported, and unpacked within 7 hours. Included the disassembly and reassembly of beds, desks, etc. Top notch!

First Due staff are amazing. They were polite, professional, fast. They moved my packaged boxes and furniture. My items were treated carefully, well packaged and there was no damages done to the house or the moved items. I was amazed at how quickly my move happened. I am very pleased and would recommend them to anyone moving. I found their rates very reasonable.

I should probably wait a day or two before writing a reviews on these guys because I am pretty heated. So here goes, I called Saturday to schedule, someone called me back and told me to write an itemized email of everything we would need moved, and they didn't have enough time to come out and do an onsite quote ( that should have been my first clue). I sent them my list with promises of a rapid quote to return in my inbox the same day. I called Sunday and left a message and called this morning (Monday) and spoke with a nice guy who clearly knew more and booked us the Sunday we needed. He gave me quote for our move and still scheduled us a on site estimate day. He answered all of my questions professionally. BUT Then I go to check my email as I usually do every evening and saw an email from the moving company stating "they looked at the wrong day on the calendar and are going to have to cancel our booking or move us to Monday, for our trouble they would knock off 5%" I was very verbal with them they had to move us on Sunday, and they had to be finished loading no later than 2pm, per our transfer of ownership agreements. I am floored they would send an EMAIL and not give us a phone call. poor way to do business and I will make sure everyone I know does NOT use this company who cancels on their clients and leaves them up a creek without a paddle. Mind you I am 20 weeks pregnant, so moving safes and pianos is not in the cards for me right now.

On the last day of our move weekend, we finally understood with horrible certainty, that we were not going to be done by the end of the day (required by landlord) without a whole lot more hands. We called around and since it was Sunday, and not set up in advance, pretty much everyone was unavailable that we knew of. Then, we stumbled into this company, who sent over two movers and were kind, professional, helpful, and everything we could have hoped for in a moving team. We don't plan to move again, but for every single person that asks me to recommend someone, I will absolutely refer them here. I can't say enough good things about this company.

These guys are the BEST! I have moved 4 times in the last 20 years, and this company was head and shoulders above any other mover. This company is firemen owned and operated and extremely professional. All items are wrapped in pads and shrink wrap so nothing gets damaged. The 6 man crew arrived early (!), got right to work after introducing themselves, had a system for loading, arranging, wrapping and packing the trucks (yes, I needed 2). Entire 2000 square foot house and a garage (including garden items, outside potted plants) were loaded in 2.5 hours. Unloading was quicker at 2 hours, but they set up furniture where I wanted in new rooms, moved boxes if necessary. Wonderful, friendly, and strong!! A great group of guys. I am very happy tot have used them and highly recommend them.

They did a great job. They showed up and were very professional. They did neglect to ask me if I needed the wardrobe boxes, other than that, they did a good job.

The two gentlemen that arrived to support our move were Very Prompt and arrived when scheduled. Their truck, all moving equipment, and protective blankets were clean and in great condition. They did a quick walk thru to ensure they understood what we wanted and then immediately began the move. They were Careful with our items, made sure each was protected and secure. At no time did I ever see them moving slowly or without purpose. When all of the large items were loaded, we had boxes that we had planned to move ourselves - but at our request they added them to the items on the truck (which really helped reduce our stress and ease our backs!). In route to the new apartment they quickly and professionally at our request swung by my residence to off-load two larger pieces that would not fit in my daughter's new apartment (which was a tremendous help for me) and picked up two pieces of furniture she was going to use. They were so willing to do anything that we needed and will a very pleasant demeanor - something that you don't see too often with services nowadays! Upon arriving at the new apartment they protected floor areas they were going to be walking on and began to move everything in. They were extremely careful with all pieces of furniture, walls, and doorways. In many years of moving (former military) I can not say before this, that we have ever had a move of any size or distance that did not involve at least one wall gouge, an item scratched or broken, or something happening. Well now I can officially say that! This move was one that left my entire family very thrilled and pleased. With any future moves that might come up in our future, this is the company that we will call. If they service where we are moving to/from...They Are Hired. I have even recommended them to a friend already that is considering moving some items in her home...They offer that service as well!!!

I called and spoke to Joe, I believe. I told him what I needed. He explained there was a $75 portal-to-portal fee and $125/hr charge for a van with a driver and 1 additional mover (2 total). I figured it would take about 3 hours total. We set up an appointment for a couple days later. The driver called on the scheduled day, a few hours before our appointment, and said they were running ahead of schedule. He asked if it was alright if they showed up about 45 minutes early. I was eager to get going, so I agreed. The movers arrived, we filled out a little paperwork, and then they got started wrapping up the furniture to protect it during the move. It was raining that day and they took extra care making sure the furniture was covered with a blanket while being loaded/unloaded. Both guys were very courteous. There was never any downtime. They were always working at something. They had to do some dis-assembly of appliances to make them fit through doorways. They did it just like it was a normal part of the job. When we got up to the storage unit, they had no problem helping rearranging the contents to make everything fit. The total job took 5.5 hours. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the two guys. We talked while they worked, and they were both personable. I would definitely use them again!

Excellent. FIrst Due was punctual, efficient (the project was completed in less than an hour!), professional, and pleasant. They far exceeded my expectations. And the fees for their services were far below what I anticipated. I couldn't have been happier. I will definitely use them again if I need moving services and highly recommend them to others.

Arrived on time. They don't charge travel time which is good. took 4.5 Hrs to load all the stuff to a container. Overall very good job. Hope all stuff is in good condition at destination.
