+ -1 moreHe pointed out some things that were not installed correctly, and he advised that I take advantage of changing the duct work so it works more efficiently. He explained things quite in depth in terms of the different brands he dealt with and what would be most applicable in my price range. He talked about what the service included. He kind of gave me a furnace one-on-one, and I appreciated that. He was pretty responsive. The estimated price was $2200 for the furnace and $2500 for a 90% efficient one, which is a pretty good price for a 90%. I think I would use him in the future if the price is right.
Description of Work: I got a bid from Hank’s Sheet Metal & Heating Inc to replace the old furnace and re-vent it outside the house.

+ -1 moreMy furnace had quit working the day before Christmas. We waited until the day after to call someone. When we called Hank's Sheet Metal, Ron answered the phone. He told me he was closed today and he only came in to the store to check on a couple things but he said he would help me. I could not believe it. He called Hank and they both met at my house and discovered that a sensor was out. They had one at Hank's house within an hour it was up and running. I can not thank them enough for taking time away from their families on one of the few days a year they were off!
Description of Work: Ron and Hank came out to my house to trouble shoot my propane furnace; it had stopped working on Christmas Eve! They replaced a sensor and got it up and running again!

+ -1 moreThe company responded immediately, very professional and fixed my problem in a timely manner.
Description of Work: I was told by another company that my furnace heat exchanger was cracked and that I would have to replace it for 2,500 plus dollars. I had Hank's come out and look at it and they said the exchanger was not cracked and they had to order a special kit to replace it. Two days later they came out, installed the kit and was done within the hour. The furnace has worked very well ever since, I highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreTHEY KNEW THAT WE HAD NO HEAT AND THEY MADE THEIR WAY TO OUR HOUSE THE QUICKEST THEY POSSIBLY COULD. THE GENTLEMAN WAS NICE AND VERY WELL MANNERED.
Description of Work: MY FURNACE BROKE DOWN AND THEY HAD TO COME IN AND CHECK THE PROBLEM AT THE REQUEST OF CASCADE NATURAL GAS. IT SEEMS THAT THEY NEEDED TO CLEAN THE TIP OF THE IGNITER.

+ -1 moreTHE FIRST GUY WHO CHECKED SAID THE VALVE HAD TO BE REPLACED, AND IT WOULD TAKE A COUPLE OF DAYS TO GET THE PARTS. 1 WEEK PASSED BUT NO CALL, SO I CALLED. THEY SAID PRETTY SOON BUT 2 MORE WEEK PAST, I ALMOST STARTED LOOKING FOR A DEFERENT SHOP WHEN HE SHOWED UP. BUT LESS THAN 15 MINUTES AFTER HE ARRIVED HE SAID HE GOT THE WRONG PARTS, LEFT AND CAME BACK. HE DIDN'T SPEND MORE THAN 30 MINUTES, BUT HE CHARGED FOR 2 HOURS. THEY FIXED THE FURNACE, AT LEAST.
Description of Work: WHEN I TURNED THE HEATER ON ONLY COLD AIR CAME UP FROM OUR GAS FURNACE. GAS COMPANY MENTIONED THIS SHOP. THEY CAME ON THE SAME DAY TO CHECK THE PROBLEM, BUT IT TOOK OVER 3 WEEKS TO GET IT FIXED.
