Kent came by, surveyed the space, and provided us with a written estimate, explaining carefully what was and was not included. He stuck with his estimate except for mutually agreed on changes and additions, all of which were discussed with us in advance. He did what he said he'd do when he said he'd do it and at the quoted price. We made a fair number of changes and additions and found him to be flexible and very easy to work with. While he was working here he focused on our job rather than trying to juggle four or five jobs athe same time. He was open to new ideas: he sanded and stained an exposed ceiling beam to match the chearry bar nd cabinets, and created and fabricated a massive mantelpiece to match. Kent is very even-tempered and straightforward. He communicates very clearly what is going on with the job. On the few occasions when he had something personal come up or a sub couldn't come as scheduled, he let us know--with apologies. We would call him again for any job--large or small.
