JC'S Painting and More

He took all morning to finish the 2nd coat on my small porch. I asked him to repair the "wobbliness" so he added some boards for reinforcement but the porch remained wobbly and he told me "it's built that way" when I comlained about it later. It has been less than a year and there are many spots where paint has come off already. He kept praising himself by saying "I've done a great job", every time I complained about something. There was a dispute over the time he worked also. I will NEVER hire him again.

Due to the weather conditions, the project had unavoidable delays. However, even though the weather was not cooperative, JC painted whenever it was possible. For example, if it was raining, he made use of the time to paint under the eaves. His work areas were always tidy and caused no inconvenience for me. The job was consistent with his estimate and the quality of all his work was of the highest quality. It was a pleasure to do business with JC and I would highly recommend him to anyone with painting needs. In addition, JC provides others services besides painting and I will not hesitate to call him again as other home maintenance needs arise.

He did a great job. I had alot of dryrot he repaired. I received bids from other companies that did not point out the dryrot.

I contacted six painting contractors in the local area to submit bids to paint the exterior of my home, which had not been painted in approximately 13 years. All the other bids were the typical "pressure wash and spray two coats..." JC's bid was based on an estimated number of hours to accomplish the task, with the customer providing the paint, if desired, which I did. JC does not pressure wash or spray paint, rather he hand scrapes, primes bare wood, and then hand applies two coats with a brush and roller. While it naturally took longer than spray painting, the finished results were SPECTACULAR! The exterior of the house looks brand new, and we know this will last a long, long time. JC is a contractor you can trust to do the job right, with results exceeding expectations. He communicates his plan, does the work, and then follows-up to make sure the customer is happy. How good is he....I'm on his schedule for interior painting over the winter months.
