We are very pleased with the work done. Work teams were timely, efficient, made efforts to communicate status and next steps; if there were delays, they explained why. David Murphy and this team used creative problem solving, asked questions and help determine the best course of action. They also tracked time carefully, and when there might be a few minutes left on a basic service call, would return to do additional work at no charge. Invoices included detailed time accounting. Plus, they are all just nice people .... good to talk to. We have really appreciated their services and will likely use them again, soon!

Very positive experience. I recently saw a rodent run under my home and was referred to Rain Shadow Handyman by my pest control company, for purposes of sealing off the crawlspace so Mickie and Minnie could not return and to assess/repair any possible damage. The owner of the company, David, was very responsive and worked me in around another large project they were handling nearby. Brian is experienced in this type of issue and handled the inspection of my crawlspace and the actual repairs. He put hardware cloth at identified access vents and applied construction adhesive to the perimeter of all of the vents to keep them from being used in the future. While it is not a lot of fun to crawl under a large house in warm weather doing this kind of work, he nonetheless offered logical solutions to end this issue - as opposed to an easy option that would likely be ineffective. The repairs were completed promptly and both David and Brian were delightful to work with. I was pleased to learn about the variety of projects the company can handle and am already anticipating future projects.

My wife and I recently had the task of selling an estate property from 1,065 miles away. The property included a main house, guest house, barn and garage. All in need of updating and repair. David and Bryan at RainShadow Handyman were tremendous to work with, efficient, pro-active, and cost effective. Even though we could not be on site to monitor progress they communicated very efficiently to address questions and issues in a timely manner. They were a delight to work with throughout the process and we had absolute confidence in them. We could not have chosen a better contractor. Very happy sellers.

Excellent overall. David and his crew worked full time for 2 weeks fixing up the manufactured home I purchased in October. After that they came out once a week to do odds and ends. They are going to sand and stain the deck outside my bedroom in the Spring.

David did an exceptional job, he has a assistant that sometimes works alongside him that is also great...

Ontime and under budget.

David (owner) and his helper Bryan did a great job replacing the wavy plexiglass roof panels on my small enclosed porch. Several of the old panels had holes and cracks from wind and old age, so I decided to have them all replaced. David and Bryan did the job quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable cost. And most importantly, the job was done right. David and Bryan were both very friendly and easy to work with. I will not hesitate to call on David again should I need his services.

Contractor had a good grasp of what needed to be done, selected quality rails for the cabinet, and knew how to make the proper install. His cost of purchasing and installation was/is quite competitive and his quality of work is was good. Contractor had some difficulty with alignment of sliding drawer but this was more due to the cabinet and/or drawer not being squared well enough. (The cabinetry is old.) Regardless, the contractor made adequate adjustments to satisfy good function. Also, the drawer itself is constructed too heavily and perhaps the contractor could have lightened the drawer by removing more wood. (This is only speculative.) However, that is not the instructions I gave him and he proceeded on what I requested. The cabinet drawer is functioning fine.

We called David while on vacation to handle some repairs in our home. We needed the work done ASAP. Within two days he had completed all repairs. He was very responsive to our request and did so quickly. All repairs were made completely and thoroughly. We met David through the extensive repairs he made recently to our neighbor's home. The owner was very pleased with his diligence and the quality of work. So were we. He is trustworthy and knowledgeable.

David's communication and professionalism are outstanding. Whenever we uncovered a new issue he immediately reviewed the options, and made great recommendations. One area that I was truly impressed with: When David encountered an area outside of his expertise he would be open and honest. His list of specialty contractors were very professional, gave accurate estimates and delivered outstanding quality workmanship . One area we found needed a structural engineer to review. We jointly inspected and reviewed the options with the engineer. We agreed to the resolution design. David was very open about everyone carefully inspecting each step of the process. The repair was also inspected by the engineer who commented on the new result was superior to the original. When considering a handyman, honesty, with careful consideration of the desired outcome is critical. I now thoroughly trust David's work and expertise. He is a true professional: Honest, and delivers very high quality work.
