Very well. I went into Rod Caldwell's store with an unusual situation. I was trying to make habitable a home that had fallen into disrepair as a result of the failing health of my father and stepmother. My stepmother had recently passed; my father suffers from dementia. I had called ServPro to come to do a deep cleaning much of the home. I was trying to make my father's home habitable while I was also trying to qualify him for long-term care services with the State of Washington and attend to matters of the estate. Rod had the patience to listen to my tale of trouble and identify a product well-suited to the conditions that caused the deep cleaning in the first place. First among those problems was a dog with an auto-immune disorder that causes a discharge from all its glands that, unchecked, can induce retching in anyone unaccustomed to this odor. Second among those problems was urine from the dog and two sometimes incontinent humans. Rod suggested that I consider Shaw Hope 532PD Memory Spill carpeting along with a special padding that helps prevent spills from penetrating and capturing odors in the padding. According to Rod, the carpetwas tested in a zoo where it was laid out across an area where the animals could urinate and deficate freely. After some time under these conditions, the carpet was cleaned and, according to Rod, there was no evidence of odor in the carpet. Also, Rod went to great lengths to figure out how to most economically cover the floor space with the least amount of waste. Rod took a personal interest in addressing the problems in my father's home. He was also accommodating in arranging the scheduling for the installation of this carpet. The installer, Randy, and his apprentice, Josh, though late in arriving, were nonetheless quite impressive in their performance. They worked from 9:40AM to 4:15PM with only a brief break for lunch. Randy has twenty-five years of experience with floor coverings. He's trained Josh to anticipate his requirements and move quickly ahead and behind him preparing the way and cleaning up afterwards. Josh was a working blur much of the time. Randy also exhibited the skills of a seasoned supervisor and mentor: clear instructions beforehand and firm corrections during and after. It was a pleasure to watch this working relationship between student and master.
Description of Work: Carpeted a living room, den, master bedroom, and small single bedroom in a 14x70 mobile home with Shaw Hope 532PD Memory Spill floor covering. Cost of service cited above included direct payment to the installer that included an additional sum for helping to move large pieces of furniture back into the home. There was no tear-out or disposal of old carpet as that had been done previously by ServPro.

It went perfect just as he said and I would recommend them to everyone. The job done exceeded all our expectations from the first meeting to the end product! Thank you Rod!!!
Description of Work: I bought to RV's which I completely gutted and redid them to make them our homes. The owner Rob actually came out to see them personally and went over everything with us and reassured us that it would be no problem to do the carpet and cork flooring that we had chosen. Everything turned out better than we could have ever asked for!! Great people that just want their customers to be completely happy and we are!!
