LARRY'S ROOFING

Larry arrived an repaired where the rain was coming in. He also put moss remover on the roof. He is very efficient and the work is done very quickly.

I first contacted Larry's Roofing in 2013, but my calls were never returned. One year later, I tried again. This time Tom showed up and gave me an estimate, which I agreed to. That was the last time I ever saw him. Once again, phone calls were never returned. I guess "Larry", is too busy screwing around with Moe and Curly to do any work. YUK, YUK.

Larry's didn't perform any work for me, but was a great help over the phone. My neighbor told me shingles around my roof vents were missing. I called Larry's and explained the situation - he told me there was likely no problem, that's the way the vents are installed and he would hate for someone to come out if there's nothing wrong. I told him I would get up on the ladder and take a closer look, which I did. I then called him back to tell him what I saw, and he said there was nothing to worry about, the vents and roofing were properly installed. He could have turned this into a service call after first contact, but he didn't. Honesty and ethics goes a long way and Larry's Roofing will be at the top of my list when I'm ready for a new roof.

Tom Rhodes, the owner, replied to my request for a reroofing bid. I received three bids. There was no question as to which contractor I picked--Larry's Roofing. The bid included a complete breakdown on the services and cost of each service. Tom spent the time explain the process and what he would do. The estimate alone out shown the other contractors. We agreed to wait untill the summer for the install. Tom called and said he was ready to do the work and scheduled the start date. Tom himself showed up with one other roofer who was obviously experienced. The work started Monday and finished on Friday. No real issues, no drama, no questions--just a real professional experience. There was an issue concerning the skylights, not being as darkly tinted as expected--Tom knocked on the door and told me that he was taking the skylights to be tinted locally--if it was OK by me. He remembered that I wanted a heavy tint and the skylights were only available it what he considered less than what he felt that I wanted. What a professional! From the start to the finish, not a single problem. Straightup, a top experience and a top notch install by top notch professionals.

Tom Rhodes spent about three or four hours removing defective roofing, and replacing with new material and blow torching flat sections. Evidently, old roof was not installed correctly around vent pipes. I'm very, very satisfied with quality of "Larry's Roofing.

He arrived on the morning of the day scheduled proceeded to get right to work. By the time we arrived at about 10 am. (we were not occupying the house, at the time), he and his crew had removed about a quarter of the old shingles, and was working on replacing one of the panels of damaged under-roof. His estimate said it would take 3 to 4 days, depending on what damage they found, and 2 and a half days later they were done. - - They picked up and removed all debris, inside and out. All communication with Tom (the boss) was friendly, and informative. It was a pleasure doing business with him, since he answered all questions, and then followed through with what he promised. A few days after completion, the county inspector checked out the work, and approved it. A few days after the inspection, the title company released the designated money for the job, and Tom came by with the receipt, and the permit/s for the work. I would definitely recommend Larry's roofing to anybody who needs this service. Hopefully I will never need this service, again, but should it come up, I would use Larry's Roofing, again.

Waiting on permits and getting money together. Once the permit was issued he went to work within a week and all went well and the team stayed on track.

Work was started as soon as weather permitted and was completed in a timely manner. All trash and debris was removed and workmanship was approved by the permitting agency.

To whom it may concern. I owned a contracting and excavation business for many years in the Port Angeles area and I am very aware of quality in regards to construction. And all to aware of the lack of quality in many cases. Roofs are one of the most important parts of a homes protection. If a roof has a problem then be assured that it is only the beginning of many more problems to come. Tom Rhodes, the owner of Larry's Roofing has done most ALL of the roofs on every project I have been involved with for the past 30 years. Including my own home. There is a reason for that. In my opinion, he is the BEST! Period! Mr Rhodes has never did anything but the absolute best work and always for a very fair price. I would without a doubt be willing to even pay more for the quality he has always delivered. Not one time did I find left over garbage or scraps of roofing after they had finished. They were quick, clean, on time and more then fair from start to finish. I will use Larry's Roofing for ALL my future roofing needs.

I would strongly recommend Larry's Roofing to anyone seeking a new roof or repairs to an old one. The two gentlemen that actually installed the roofs worked as hard as I've ever seen vendor employees perform (I even liked their music!). I verified the cost with another bid by second local roofer and feel the price was more than fair. Tom Rhodes answered any questions I had without hesitation or hedge. Our new roof was a great experience!
