Scott's Cabinets

My kitchen was pretty standard with light oak cabinets, and a long tile island. Scott's Cabinets assessed the space and come up with a design that maximized the space including providing extra storage that was much needed for our family. He built customer Cherry Cabinets and extended them fully to the ceiling, got rid of non functional counter area left of my refrigerator and converted the space into floor/to ceiling cabinets with roll out drawers that became our new pantry. He converted my old pantry which consisted mostly of shelving with an accordion door, to that of cabinets with French doors and rollout drawers to hold all of those kitchen appliances I had no room for. The old cabinets above the refrigerator were hard to reach (and quite frankly non functional) were replaced with a 3 tier wine rack made out of Cherry. My tile island was rectangular, and Scott shortened it to a square, re-centered it, allowing more room to move around in the kitchen and allowing the refrigerator French doors to open fully. A thick slab of Maple replaced the tile on the island - and is now a beautiful, yet functional center piece and prep area for meals. Many fine touches were added - roll out drawers in the lower cabinets, lazy susans in the corner cabinets, pots/pan racks, cookie sheet racks, and tiered inserts added to the drawers for spices.
