Description of Work: I used moon to pit in a home security system a few years ago. The installation quality was very poor. They had to come back and repair door frames twice. Originally i was told that i could cancel the monitoring service at any time. When a i called to do so after 3 years the office told me that there was an automatic recurring contract and that i owed them six months of service. Make sure you read the small print well!

Description of Work: Installed security system about 2 years ago (2013); installation went well; salesman was responsive. I call them from time to time to add or change a user and they are always helpful. I had a problem with some equipment that was NOT theirs (fire alarm) and were able to help me with that as well.

Description of Work: The Moon sales rep was on time, professional and very helpful to us in selecting the components we wanted to install. He was also patient as we did not purchase right away. He did follow up with us in a timely manner (2 weeks) but did not pressure us. When it came time for the install, he came and met the install crew to make sure they were clear on everything. The install crew was also professional, very careful not to damage the house in any way as there was some drilling and wiring involved. They tested the system and showed us how to use it. I have talked to the monitoring folks and they too are professional and helpful. I would recommend Moon to anyone considering a security system. They are local, have been around over 50 years, owned by the same family (3rd generation) so I feel confident they won't sell to a national firm where in our past experience, the service suffers.

Description of Work: Updated security equipment. Installed new keypad, wiring, panic buttons and DVR, installed software for mobile phones & computer, laptop.
