+ -1 moreAdvanced Protection Services, Inc. was efficient and more knowledgable than the phone company tech and the sub-contractor that installed the security system combined. Turned a non-functional system into one that is working well for security monitoring 24/7. They accomplished the work in a short time and corrected circuits that had been left un-connected. Also, took time to label circuits on a key information card that had been left blank by the original sub-contractor. They explained all problems left behind by previous subs and corrected them. Job well done. I will be pursuing remuneration by the general contractor under our 5 year home warranty and will never allow the unprofessional sub that created this mess enter our home again. We had this work done on our new home that is now for sale so we can monitor it until such time we are able to sell this home. We had an attempted theft of a built-in outdoor barbecue and this prompted our call to Advanced Protection Services, Inc.
Description of Work: Brought phone lines from a garage service box to the media center electrical service panel that should have been done during construction. Had to trace fouled up lines, incomplete circuits, and damaged circuits from a botched installation by a security and media system sub-contractor. They were able to set up security alarms to all sliding windows, all exterior entry doors, and motion sensors and have all security zones communicate to a security panel used by the homeowner to set up and disarm security. As homeowners, we had been under a false sense of security in thinking alarm sensors and motion detectors had been working since new construction was finished 1-1/2 years prior.
