Ron Davis Lawn Care and Landscaping

I received a recommendation from my lawn fertilizer company and decided to give Ron Davis Lawn Care and Landscaping a try. First contact with the company went very well. I called for a quote on a weekly mow and was told they could be there the next day. I explained I was going on a trip and would not be back for a few days. I asked if they would do the quote, and if under a certain dollar amount, would they go ahead and mow they day the came to give the quote. They did, both the quote and the mow, which was wonderful. I assumed they would then start the weekly mows. 8 days went by and I didn't see them or hear from them, I hadn't even seen an invoice from the first mow. I called and told them I would pay for the first mow, if they would start the weekly mowing. So they came back and mowed on the regularly scheduled day, which meant the lawn had gone two weeks without a mow. Next week, the same thing happened, they did not show. I called to ask them to come out that day and mow, then again on the regularly scheduled day. I was told that was not possible, but that they would be out on the regular day .... which again, meant the lawn would not get mowed for two weeks. This at a time, when the lawn should be getting cut lower to put it to bed for the winter. They did say they would give me a $10 discount on the mow. Needless to say, I now have a new company that is going to mow my lawn through the fall. I would not recommend Ron Davis Lawn Care and Landscaping to anyone.
