+ -1 moreJon renovated our 880sf shop, which was composed of concrete and flooring. The previous owner had lawnmowers, yard equipment, and I believe a mini brush hog in there. I contacted Jon to renovate that shop into a 2/3 playroom and exercise room, and 1/3 office + voiceover booth. I designed up a rough schematic for him which he interpreted correctly. It is nothing short of amazing! I now have a beautiful office, attic ladder with storage, a voiceover booth that is TRULY INNOVATIVE (Jon looked up some awesome ideas to implement including an anti-noise angled window and a booth that is separated from all the surrounding walls with an air gap to prevent noise), additional windows, a checkerboard floor chair pad for my desk (to protect the luxury vinyl throughout), dimmable lighting, custom doors, all-perimeter security lighting, beautiful trim and paint job, and TWO mini-splits. I SO love going out there every day and working in there...it's truly high class.
Description of Work: We had Jon remodel our upper floor at the top of the stairs because the existing railing was too short so he raised those, pulled the carpet, removed a GIANT imposing wall which was the outside of our closet, and installed a hardwood walkway and french doors leading into our master bedroom, creating a new closet in the process. He also removed an octagonal window and put in a long horizontal picture window. We've had Jon redo a previous attic ladder installation done poorly by a previous contractor. We've had him install French doors downstairs in place of a redundant sliding door. We've had him install a Craftsman WiFi garage door opener for one of the bays in our garage. We've had him repair a door that was out of plumb. We've had him install patio poles so we can suspend outdoor accent lighting ropes. We've had him reinforce a 2-rail horse fence with painted plywood on the other side of it going all the way to the ground in order to prevent our dog from burrowing under.
