His quote was awfully high for what I needed so I chose not to go with them. He quoted me right around $1000 for the fence and the gate. It was only about twenty feet of fencing so it was much too high. He was okay and I wasn't overly impressed with him but I wasn't unimpressed either. It was just sort of a neutral experience. I'm retired and I'm on a fixed budget so it just seemed like too much money for the amount of work I wanted done. He was very nice but the only thing was that he wanted to do it all by email and on the computer which for younger people is fine but I prefer more in person. It took me a while to get back to him because he had left a message and I hadn't looked at it yet because I don't work well on the computer. I don't go into my computer everyday to look at my emails and it's not the way I communicate. He was very responsive and I was the one that wasn't punctual.

I hired Joe after working with his father who is my painter. My painter told me his son built fences as a second job so i gave him a call. He was prompt, courteous and his bid was very reasonable. We worked together on the design and I have had every single neighbor ask me who did the great work! I chose a complicated design to match my Cape Cod style home and Joe met and exceeded my expectations on his design and completion. He worked alone so it took about one week but he was here rain,or shine and it came out fantastic! My husband and I could not be more happy with the end result.
