I was very happy to find Harbor Surface Solutions to renovate my garage floor. It turned out very nice, we are more than happy with the job. Monica helped us pick the colors and her crew did a really great job installing our new floor. Previously our garage floor was always wet and we worried about mold, but it’s now like indoor space, waterproof, dry and looks fantastic. We highly recommend Harbor Surface Solutions. Thank you Monica for a job well done.

Warning NOT to use Harbor Surface Solutions (HSS) and it owner Monica Baxter for concrete floor surface clear coat. HSS was contracted by our contractor for livable smooth finished concrete floor. 3 applications floors were damaged not usability; roughness/pitting/blotches of whiteness/bubbling/debris. Owner had gall claiming job was completed since floor was sealed. Paid $10K to our contractor onto HSS, plus $12K on LVP to cover damage. Monica took no responsibility, instead made false and deceitful statements to place blame otherwise. Respectful effort to find a reimburse resolution, in the end Monica accused me of being threatening and harassing. In small claims court, she filed exhibits of faults statements and photos not even of our house. My 37 years employed in the customer/supplier business profession, worst I have experienced as a customer. $22K due to HSS failure is unacceptable and owner accusing me being threatening and harassing is deplorable way to treat a customer.

When we moved into our new house my wife wanted to get our garage floors coated and looking new. While I was hesitant to spend the amount of money necessary to get quality concrete work done, I caved when I was told by Harbor Surfaces Solutions owner that it would be, and I quote, "Perfect". She explained that the process they used to coat the floors was unlike anyone else in Washington and was much safer over time. She said it would be like we had a brand-new separate living space where we could entertain and be proud of the quality of the work. This was far from the truth and one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a professional company. When they were done with the job they told us to wait 3-5 days before stepping on it. However, by the next morning you could see that something was wrong. You could see every single stress crack in the floor and there were pools of glossy coating in some places and rough patches in other places. It honestly looked like I did the job myself with no experience. When I contacted the owner, she was quick to come out and say that the job had not been completed the correct way and that "it was the last time they tried to do a garage this big in one day". I felt like a test subject and that they had never done this before. She told me her crew would be out as soon as they could to fix their mistakes. around 8:30 PM a work truck arrived to grind out the stress cracks and start the process all over again. I had to stop them from working once it hit 9:45 because it was too loud for our neighborhood. They said they would be back out again to finish the job. About 3 days later they arrived unannounced to begin work again, thank God my wife and I are both teachers and have summers off or it would have been a mess. They grinded the cracks and applied another coat. Once again, in the morning when it was dry it looked patchy, wet and you could still see the stress cracks!! This company came back out another three times over a span of 6 weeks! Sometimes not showing up when they said they were going to, and other times showing up 4-5 hours late. When the owner came out the last time, she told us that it was because our garage was uneven and that if were her garage, she would be happy with the work that was done. When we expressed our concerns and frustrations with the job that was done, and how long it took, the owner of the company was extremely rude and said that our expectations were too high and that it wasn't going to be "perfect". Even though their company moto states, "We don't leave the job site until you are 100% satisfied with our services". In the end we asked for some of our money back because it was absolutely not worth the amount we paid. I am not lying to you when I tell you I should have just done it myself. I could have gotten the same outcome, maybe even better. Here's the best part. When we tried to contact the owner about how she was going to go about solving this problem they created, she completely ghosted me and my wife. For weeks we tried to get in contact with her and it wasn't until we told her we were going to write a review that she got into contact with us. It has been 6 months, and we still have yet to see anything done about this situation. If you need a job done that involves concrete floors and would like quality work with great customer service, do NOT hire this company!

Monica at Harbor Surface Solutions is a pleasure to do business with. She listened carefully and implemented a sealant package tailored to my needs, at a very reasonably price. My patio looks fantastic and I'm confident it will for years.
