Firewalker Flooring

Jeff from Firewalker called about an hour prior to arrival at installation site. At the promised time, he arrived ready to install. After a quick inspection to ensure the square footages were correct, he and his assistant immediately started to remove the old carpet, padding and all staples from the floor. After cleaning up the three rooms from the trash of the padding and staples, they started with the new padding, cutting, straightening and stapling the padding. It was amazing how perfect they were in trimming the padding about an inch from the tack strips. If new tack strips were required, they promptly pulled out the old and installed new. The same professionalism followed with the installation of the carpet. They did an outstanding job of stretching the carpet to ensure proper placement on the tack strips. Care was made at the thresholds of the rooms to ensure smooth and tight transitions from carpet to hardwood floors. As they trimmed the carpet from the walls, again they cut straight edges while ensuring the corners were properly attached to the strips. After installation, they removed trash and the old carpet and padding, vacuumed the three rooms and inspected with the owner. It was an excellent installation being tight and flat throughout the three rooms.

I have nothing but good things to say about Firewalker Flooring. I have used them in the past to install vinyl flooring as well. They did an amazing job. The staff was very friendly. They were competitive on their pricing. They were punctual.
