 + 1 moreHe did good work and cleaned up perfectly afterwards. He's friendly and efficient, and charges fairly. He charged less (or perhaps not at all) for the time he spent running errands to get needed parts. He called a professioonal elecdtrician he works with. when he ran into an issue he wasn't sure about. I'd definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: Jon removed an old cooktop and installed a new black, smooth glass-topped one. He also removed some rotting boards from our wooden deck and replaced them with new ones.

 + -1 moreJohn is a great contractor to work with! During the three-day tile installation, he was always on time, cheerful and took great care with our project. His attention to detail and meticulous approach to complex cutting and fitting of the back splash resulted in a terrific finished look - exactly as we had hoped. Great communication throughout entire project! We plan to work with John again in the future on a bathroom renovation project . We think his work is outstanding! Steve

Donze Construction offers the following services: I am a one man show. I specialize in smaller remodel projects all of the way from framing to finishes. If it is a larger project that requires many employees to complete within a short deadline, I'm not the best choice. If you have a custom job that requires attention to detail, and the cooperative interaction between contractor and client, I'm your man.
I do projects that involve plumbing and electrical work, but if the project involves plumbing or electrical work beyond changing fixtures, I will bring in a subcontractor to do the work. If your project is primarily plumbing or electrical, you'd be better off hiring a plumber or electrician directly.
