I have been deployed away for work steadily for 4 years, off and on for 10. I have only short breaks home. On a recent, extremely short visit home, trying to accomplish multiple projects and repairs, hemorrhaging $$, I contacted HA and followed with this contractor. I had a well-timed but surprise sprinkler issue. Not only did they respond immediately, and on time, but they were accommodating, their service man, Cody was friendly, skilled, helpful and observant. They saved me $$ identified and fixed the problem, including reorienting a badly placed sprinkler the HOA set in on original construction that was bound to fail. He took measurements for an upcoming project estimate. When he wasn't certain on a couple of things he asked his team. I left confident in his decisions and the work and relieved to have it done time and reasonably priced. I am on a seasonal schedule with them now and I couldn't be happier. The office team was great to work with, responsive and knowledgeable. I have already recommended them to my friends. Thank you!!!

Not only was their work done quickly and with great customer service, they were respectful of our family and home. The concrete wheelchair ramp they installed matches the other existing concrete we have. They cleaned up all of their mess before leaving without being asked. There was minimal disruption in our daily lives while they were here. We are all very satisfied and happy with the work performed and will definitely use them in the future, as well as recommended them to our friends.

We hired C.P.C. to remove a fence, install gutter drains and a drywell, and install foundation drains and waterproof the exterior of our basement wall. These guys may be good at landscaping and fences, but I would never hire them to do drainage work again. Positives: their crews were friendly, they responded quickly when we were looking for estimates, and the gutter drains do appear to work (although they eventually won't after the "fix" they put in on the final call-back, see below). Negatives: The foundation drain doesn't seem to do anything. Our basement still floods in heavy rain, and when we go outside and look at the sump that the foundation drain empties into there's no flow to it. We really regret not asking to inspect it before they covered it, especially because they initially tried to install the foundation drain half-way down the foundation wall, instead of at the footer--which should have made us wonder what other corners they were going to cut and be a lot more skeptical. On three occasions they cut our utilities with their excavator. That's not a problem: excavators break stuff. But how they handled it was a problem. The first time, they cut our well line (power and water), applied a bogus fix that didn't work, and left for the evening without telling anyone. We were able to get them back out that night, but they didn't fix it until the next day, and we had to hire a plumber to get things going again (dirt got into our appliances from the broken line). We were without water for an evening and morning. The second time, they nicked a sewer line. I noticed the next day when I saw water under it, and had to point it out to them to get it fixed. The final time, they dug out an excavator-bucket width section of sewer line, didn't notice that they'd done so, ran the gutter drain right across where the sewer line used to go, then covered it up. After a couple weeks, our toilet stopped working. I got to spend a fun evening digging through sewage soaked soil around my sewer line and wasn't happy when I found what they'd done. They did come out and "fix" it, but there "fix" was to use two 90-degree bends to run a section of the gutter drain under the sewer line--which will act as a sediment trap and fill with pine needles and other detritus from the roof. We had them bury a 2x4 over it so we can dig it out and replace it ourselves. They also didn't appear to compact the trench they dug at all, and there's now sections around our house where the soil next to the foundation has settled, forming a nice trench for rain water to pool in (they had said that they would try and compact the trench and slope it so it drains away from the house).

I would highly recommend this company if one needs a new deck. My only complaint is that I never received a receipt for my payment. Had to check with my bank to make sure the check was cashed.

I would highly recommend this co if you need a new fence. The fence install itself was great. However, when I went to pay I was told I would be charged 2.5% extra of the purchase price since I was putting it on a card. That should be something that was discussed beforehand during the initial stages of planning, estimates, etc., not afterwards. Over the years I have had 3 cedar fences installed and this one is by far the nicest. The young men who installed the fence were polite and very hard working. They did a beautiful job of installing the fence on a somewhat difficult slope and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out.

They are deceptive. They were referred to me to fix a leak in our pond and stream system that was losing so much water we turned off the stream, which stopped the water loss but also eliminated the function of the water feature. A company representative called to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and evaluate the problem and let us know what next steps to take. She informed me that the evaluation appointment would cost $100. I agreed. They sent out one of their irrigation pros. He didn't really know what to do for a pond and stream. I knew more from reading the internet, I just don't have the equipment or physical ability to do the trouble shooting to locate the leak. He wouldn't believe me that the leak was not in the pond and was convinced that I needed to run the whole stream to see if the pond level went down. I wasn't satisfied until I ran the hose over to refill the stream and start the big pump. While we waited for it to fill, he said "I may as well clean the filter while I'm here" I thought he felt badly that he wasn't able to do any real troubleshooting and was just killing time. Not so. When I got the bill from CPC, it was for $175, not the $100 I was expecting. They tacked on $75 for the 2 minutes it took for the guy to use my hose to rinse a little debris out of the filter and they charged for refilling the stream myself! Double charge on that one, I had to pay for the water that I know would just leak out and, apparently, their guy to watch me run the hose! At no time did their guy indicate that he would be charging me for anything other than the evaluation appointment. I was disappointed that I knew more about troubleshooting the leak and water pumps than the guy they sent and I was furious that they charged me for work they didn't do and that I didn't ask them to do. Be wary about anything they offer to do. They may not tell you ahead of the task that they plan to charge you for it.

The assigned crew were very professional and polite. The fence and gate that where installed looked awesome. They asked questions when needed to clarify what I the owner would prefer helping to meet costumers satisfaction. Excellent work. I did go and get a case of drinking water after observing that no water was supplied.

I highly recommend this company. They started the project upon the agreed up date and finished it on time, even though there were some changes that needed to be made to the plans. They are highly professional, work very hard, and showed up by 7:45 AM both mornings - which we loved. They also left the area very clean and did no damage to the landscaping. The pergola is fantastic.

Overall customer service was great, from initial estimate to setting up the actual work appointment. Recommend ascertaining EXACTLY what size rocks you will be getting for your water feature during the estimate phase. The river rocks we received were all about the same medium size; I thought we had talked about rocks of varying sizes (such as the ones at our neighbor's home) from larger ones to medium rocks. I did not bring this point up when the workers showed up, as we wanted the project done and the overall water feature was not affected.
