City Cleaning Services

We canceled our service from All City because they lost our house key. I received a text from the manager on the morning of a scheduled cleaning day, asking me to leave another key under the mat. I told her I was unwilling to do without knowing what happened the key we'd given them. We had to contact her repeatedly for updates over the next few days - she wasn't clear about what happened to our key without prodding. This was a major violation of our trust, hence the low score on professionalism. She contacted me a few weeks later to say that she found it mixed up with other keys. Aside from the problem with the key, the team did a decent job for the two months they were cleaning for us. I didn't have any complaints about the work they completed. There were a few problems: 1) They failed to re-install the shower doors properly the first time they came out, and completing the job was an hour-plus headache for us; 2) They never came out with the extra tall ladder (as promised) to clean the window and chandelier in our vaulted entry-way.

Julia responded quickly to my email asking when we could schedule the service and was able to fit me in before Christmas, which I really appreciated! We needed more time than the 3 hours on the Amazon coupon and she gave me a very reasonable rate for the additional hours. Julia and her team are professional, hard working, and also very nice. I would recommend them to anyone.

The team arrived about 10 minutes late but stayed for a full hour. What they cleaned was cleaned very well, the kitchen cupboards and bathroom shower door sparkled but I was disappointed with how much they were able to accomplish in one hour.

The worst! This company was supposed to give my house a thorough top-to-bottom cleaning. The three people were 40 minutes late and stayed for only 2 1/4 hours; not one room in my home was thoroughly cleaned. When I made the appointment, the owner told me they would clean under my appliances, inside my oven, the works. Those items were not done, along with much more. They missed many pieces of furniture and all the baseboards. They spot-cleaned the kitchen, used the wrong product on my stainless steel appliances leaving streaks I still can't get out. The wood flooring in the downstairs was a smeary dull mess. They didn't empty the bin on my Dyson vacuum, which can cause fatal damage. They did not drain the water from my steam cleaner, which can also ruin it. The impression my home gave when they were through was that they rushed through it as fast as they could and took no pride in their work. The company says they guarantee their work, meaning they will return to clean anything they missed. I emailed the company's owner, Julia Silva, to notify her of the issues I'd found. She responded by saying that my home had been cleaned properly and refused my request to come and see what I was complaining about. Their claim to guarantee their work is completely false. Finally, their rates are above-average for this area. Buyer be aware and choose another cleaner!

I would use them again.

She was very good. She was very punctual, detailed, thorough and pleasant to work with. She was actually early. She charged $25 an hour, which was a reasonable price. I would rate her highly and would use her again in the future.
