A part has to be ordered and Black Hills will call and return to complete the repairs. We are confident that Black Hills will do an excellent job.

Quickly identified the problem. Created a work around that allowed me to use my AC until repair could be completed the next day I am available.

He did everything that needed to be done and showed me what else needed to be done--like a new furnace. He gave me all the details I needed to make a good decision.

We've been very happy with Black Hills. For a reasonable $17 per month payment, they come out twice per year, go through our very complex HVAC system and make sure all is well as we transition from summer to fall and from winter to spring. Additionally, Melissa always calls (very friendly) to set the maintenance appointment, tells us who is coming, that the van will be clearly marked 'Black Hills' AND she always calls to confirm when the tech is on his way! Great customer service.

The technicians are friendly and very professional! They were on time and sent a picture text of the tech coming to do the work. He was thorough, knowledgeable and courteous. The work performed was excellent. We are life long clients of Black Hills.

Curtis was prompt, professional, and gave me the bad news the best way he could. He couldn't save my current system but he impressed me enough that I'm getting a quote for a new system from Black Hills.

Their service Call included the extraction and cleaning of the motor and fan assembly, Inspection of the burners, heat exchangers for proper function. Then the tech inspected and cleaned my air conditioning unit along with pressure test and fill if needed. In this case it wasn’t necessary! This was not just a filter change but, a showing of a great company backing their product with great service. Thanks Dan, I’m impressed!!!

All is well. We have acquired an inside dog and a cat and we opted to buy the "air scrubber". It was not cheap, but we could have made payments. We have allergies and Obstructive Airway Disease Issues so we thought it best to do all we could to keep air quality clean as possible. Will know over the next year if it has helped with air quality.... takes time. I did it because I trust Black Hills to do what I need and NOT what is just a money maker for them. Been with them for nearly 20 years... They are great.

Fantastic! Diamond called to let me know he was running a few minutes behind, which was no problem for me and no fault of his own. From the get go, he was very cheerful and easy going. At any point during the consult, I never felt pressured to purchase anything. He took the time to explain all aspects of heating and cooling and the benefits of a heat pump vs. AC only, and all in layman's terms. All of my questions and concerns were taken seriously and answered without issue. He was very knowledgable and even took the time to consult via phone with one of their installers/techs regarding my furnace. I know it sucks to have to tell someone their 5 year old furnace is inadequate for the size of the house and would be best to replace in order to appropriately size the heat pump/ac unit, but he was equally put out by the issue and did what he could to make the sting of it less (he wasn't the first person to tell me this). He also put the quote together at the same time so I didn't have to wait, and discussed financing options. I am beyond impressed with Diamond, and because of that, the Black Hills family. We will be moving forward with them for our heat pump and furnace installation!

Great company to work with. Very professional. Appreciated that they texted a picture of the technician who was coming to work on our issue (along with a link to their website for further info). Roy arrived right on time and was friendly, efficient and professional. We immediately felt like we were in good hands. We appreciated that after learning about the issue, he quoted us the price in advance. He determined the problem and fixed it within 2 hours. Blackhills may not be the lowest priced company, but they are reasonable for their quality of service. We would call them again.

The technician was extremely nice and helpful! He was super clear about everything that needed to be done and all of our options which was really nice. He gave me every option and did not try to sell me on unnecessary things. I was very pleased with the service from the technician and the company over all and will definitely be using them again.

Karl, was very professional and knowledgeable. He readily answered every question that I had as we went along. The furnace and cooling unit were fine, but the water heater that's nearly twelve years old from it's manufacture date has an issue. It works fine at the moment, but it may be time to take preemptive action and replace it. Karl was very good at explaining financing and the difference between the brand they use and the same brand sold on the shelf on the market. Thank you, Karl. =-)

Tech was very professional and cordial. Diagnosed problem very quickly and performed necessary repairs. Then the tech went over the entire system making sure it was functioning well.

Diagnosis was quick. I am waiting for the part to come in. I have been without heat now for four days. It should take about 15 minutes to install the new blower. Cost below is only for the inspection visit.
