Description of Work: Blackhills came and changed our filter for us, since we have a service contract with them. We bought a new heat pump, fabulous sales person, the installation was smooth, great service man, and now, every once in a while, a service call for preventative maintenance. Everyone I have encountered with this company has been very professional and a breeze to work with. They make sure every call is answered and taken care of in a timely manner and when they come out they are always on time.

Description of Work: We had what we thought was a failure of our heat pump. We called them as we pay a monthly fee ($200 total yearly) and had just had a maintenance visit the month before. They couldn't come that day, but came the next. Even though we had been told there would be a service/call charge; since nothing was wrong the service person called his supervisor/owner and that person waived the service call charge. Since what we get yearly for our $200 isn't anything more than an inspection and some filters, this seemed reasonable.

Description of Work: Two years ago they installed a new electric panel and a ductless heater/AC, and they gave me a service contract in which they come every 6 months to clean the filter and do any necessary maintainance. They are always on time, but booties over their shoes, and are very professional. Great people to do business with.

Description of Work: The Sales person(His 1st name was David) criticized my current Heating system. At 1st he was very nice & courteous. When I went & got other estimates & spoke to him about comparisons from other businesses, He was very critical of the competitors, He then attempted to scare me, saying that my furnace was ready to break down any day & needed what his company offered.....I had another opinion given that was very opposite of this....these sales practices are PREDATORY at best!!....I will NEVER, EVER have them in my home again let alone do business with them!!
