Great company to work with. This is a rental and we called to have the existing furnace cleaned. I received a call from a really friendly tech that he was able to clean the furnace but due to its age he recommended at some point we consider replacing the unit for efficiency and safety reasons. The technician had a salesman call me and I decided to give the go ahead for replacement. David gave us a good quote for all the work and the price was guaranteed regardless of what they may find when installing the new furnace. We received a tax credit and a rebate from Puget Sound for putting in an energy efficient unit. David was responsive by email and phone whenever I needed to reach him. They worked with our tenant on appointment scheduling. Would use again. They waived the cleaning fee of the old unit as well.

They would get five stars from me. Every bit of my house was covered. They wore their booties. They wanted me to come out and confirm everything that they did. They made sure they went over everything with me. Before they came out, someone came to review everything. Before it was signed off, the manager looked at everything and then had me look at the work. They were really courteous and professional. I was really thrilled with them. I spent about $5,000. I would use them again.

Showed up on time and listened as I described what I was experiencing (inconsistent air and heat coming out of the vents). I mentioned I wanted the thermostat replaced since both of my neighbors had issues with theirs, and mine was the same so I wanted to get it changed. He mentioned I could do it myself for cheaper if I goto home depot, or get a higher end one from him. It was nice of him to explain it, I ended up choosing the higher end one, wasn't 100% sure if I needed it, but figured might as well. He then performed maintenance on the furnace and during it discovered that the fan turned off expectingly ... he had to take apart most of the furnace to investigate ... the capacitor was bad and leaking, he was able to replace it w/o issues and he rechecked to be sure everything was running. He also took the time to give answers to my questions, and seemed to do a detailed job on everything and cleaned up afterwards. The cost would be much lower, but the high end thermostat ran little over half the cost. On the plus side, its a pretty awesome thermostat ... as far as they go :-)

Had Black Hills Inc. come out for seasonal furnace inspection/maintenance and requested estimate on adding a heat pump to the existing unit. Dwayne did a fantastic job at the inspection/maintenance appointment and set up an appointment for the comfort care person to come discuss our heat pump options. The comfort care specialist, Jeff, came out during the evening so he could specifically speak with my husband and myself regarding our options. He was very up front and answered questions honestly. He wanted us to be happy and didn't automatically try to sell us the most expensive model. They were able to install within 2 days of our comfort care appointment. The installer (sorry, can't remember his name) was prompt, professional, friendly, and informative. he took extra time to make sure I understood not only the new thermostat, but how the heat pump works in a nutshell. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the job, and will be using Black Hills for all our HVAC needs as well as referring our neighbors to them! Thanks for the great job!

They are full service, very professional. You could get it done cheaper but you WON'T get the service they offer at a lower price.

Justin showed up exactly on time, and called about ten minutes ahead of schedule to let me know he was on his way. He cleaned everything, and got the furnace up and running again in less than an hour. Also set up the whole house fan and reprogrammed the thermostat. He gave me several ideas as to how to do some homeowner maintenance. He was efficient, personable, and professional. I'd be glad to have him come back anytime, and will do annual maintenance with Black Hills.

They work they had done was great. Overall they are defiantly focused on customer satisfaction. Somethings did not go correct the first time but they made sure to fix whatever they had done wrong.

A friend of ours recommended them, they came out and gave us a very competitive bid. The only negative I?d say is that their salesman gave us some promises that he was gong to order us some special vents to help the air flow which never happened. The workers were amazing; they came here regardless of the unprecedented snow fall that we had at that time. They got to the parking lot were they couldn?t get their van out from the lot so they came in their own truck with all the equipments because they knew that we were running on electric plug-in heaters to try to keep the house warm in the coldest time of the year. They also came on Sundays, they were really good, they were excellent and they rocked. The electrician they hired was pretty good but his finish work could have been better. He was off by 1/8th of an inch one of the things which left a gap that I had to take care of myself. They cleaned up well after themselves. They took out all the old duct work and hauled it away, it was just great.

He was on time and did excellent work. He is definitely an expert in his field. He also was very good about clean up. All in all it was a great experience.
