The worker who came out was very nice. He repaired the damaged area but did not have several of the tiles flush with the other tiles, so we had to ask him to fix them. He also inspected the rest of the roof . He took photos to show the work that needed to be done which was appreciated. Frustration arose when the owner did not follow through with sending someone out to give us an actual estimate to do the work, but 'guesstimated' based upon other jobs that he felt were similar. Part of the work that supposedly had to be done was to remove tiles and reseal the ridge line as it was 'old'. We had bids from two other companies that both stated there was no reason to replace the seal on the ridge line at this time.

It actually was a great experience working with this company. The roofer came out, and believed that it would be a better deal to purchase the 'Big Deal' currently offered from his company. Upon that conversation, I purchased the deal for $391. When the roofer left my home he called the person who actually estimates the costs and found out that the cost to do the job would actually be cheaper than the 'Big Deal". Considering I just purchased the Deal today, I am asking if I can return it since it was only purchased under the roofers advisement AND I am still having work done with that company, I would just be paying out of pocket rather than using the Deal.

I was very satisfied with Aaron Carter Construction. Their initial response and scheduling of work was very timely. Ray Petersen properly explained his plan and the corrective action required to fix our roof leak. I would have no problem using this company for any future work and would highly recommend them to others.

Promised to give me an approximate cost of installing fans on roof top, so far have heard nothing. May have an effect on the nature of the original visit.

The provider came out two weeks ago at 7:30 in the morning. They looked at my roof for about 20 minutes and stated it needed additional work. On October the 1st, they sent me an estimate for $1600 plus $139.20 in sales tax. I called them back and stated that I received the estimate but it didn't include to Big Deal I had purchased that was valued at $1185. He stated that the person he sent out had done some of the work already. I informed him that the worker didn't do any work and simply look 20 min. I then informed him that I expected to get what I paid for. On 10/2/2013 I received a revised estimate in which he states that he made a mistake in the original estimate and it should have been $1870 instead of $1600. He stated that I was receiving a discount of $270 for being an Angie's List consumer that drops it back to $1600 which was the original estimate to begin with. I have asked Angie's list for a refund for the Big Deal that I purchased and I will be looking for an alternate provider.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was excellent. We would use them again. There were no additional costs for the service. We haven't had any leaks since, and so it has been good. He was very nice, polite, and professional. He came, got it done, and cleaned up everything. We were completely happy and he did a fabulous job. We would definitely use them if we had a problem, they would be the first people we would call.

I was out of town when the provider contacted me to set up a date. I appreciated their taking the initiative to schedule my inspection. When I returned I called them to set up a date and they gave me one within a few days of my call. The roofer came, put up his ladder and spent about 30 minutes on my roof checking for problems. He inspected the roof, the flashing, looked for nail pops and other damage caused by animals or storms etc. After the inspection, he recommended that I get the roof cleaned and said that he thought if I did that, I could wait several years before reroofing. I was actually expecting to have to reroof. He also looked at my shed and recommended reroofing ( which I expected as I knew it was leaking). Several days later, he sent me an estimate for cleaning.

well I was disappointed in that the roofer said he looked at the backside of the house from the top of the roof , but neglected to walk around the house for an inspection i really needed an opinion on the condition under the eves I also thought it was strange to have to escort him to the backside of the house

Polite, efficient crew. Well organized, clean team, worked over 10 hours to get the roof done. Did a great job. Price was exactly as promised ( with additional square footage). Thanks to Aaron and his crew for a job well done!

It worked out extremely well. The owner himself actually came out the first time around. He explained he was overwhelmed with the Big Deals as he didn’t expect to receive the response he got. He asked us to bear with him for scheduling and we had no problems at all. He came out and evaluated the roof. We determined that it needed coding. They sent a group of three men to complete the job. They cleaned up after themselves. When they left, you wouldn’t have known that they were here other than having a much improved roof. I am very happy with the job and the price.

This review includes the work cited in the original offer. Aaron Carter Construction performed the task to my satisfaction. I was glad to be informed of potential damage to my roof and beams. I have agreed to have Aaron Carter Construction repair the identified discrepancies. We have yet to schedule that work. However, work to date, included in the original offer, was excellent.

Appointment was set up, crew arrived on time and inspected roof. Some minor work was done. Inspection could only be done by ladder due to steep pitch of roof of 2 story home. A more detailed inspection or any future work can be done, however, roofer said he will need to install a bracket first for safety purposes.

It worked out great. He was very nice. He gave me his card. When I need some more roof work, I'll call him. Everything was great. He was very professional.

They were very quick in responding and called us to schedule the service about two days after I bought the big deal. They came out when they said they would. They did the inspection and found a bunch of stuff that needed to be fixed. It seemed like some of the stuff they listed were a part the big deal that I purchased. They didn’t do the minor repairs that were a part of the big deal but they included those in their bid that they gave us. So I asked if the big deal repairs would be reduced from the total bill and they said no. I paid for the minor repairs that they didn’t do and then they wanted me to pay for those again in their estimate, if I chose them for the repairs. We may use them later but we are not ready to fix the things that they think need to be fixed. As far as coming out and doing the inspection went, they did do it in a timely fashion. The big deal was for roof maintenance and minor leak repairs and resealing some flashing and so on but they listed those on to the estimate and just did the inspection for the big deal I purchased. I would probably use them again but the big deal wasn’t worth the money I spent.

I thought it went well overall. The reason for the 'N/A' ratings in Price and Quality is because I don't feel like I really have enough information in those categories. The house was apparently in pretty good condition and didn't need much, and the garage needed too much. Aaron initially responded in what I thought was a reasonable time frame under the circumstances -he apologized that it took six days to hear from him because he was very busy with the Big Deal Angie's List ad. We arranged for him to come the next day and he showed up promptly. After inspecting both roofs, a small patch was done on a possible trouble spot on the house and the garage roof was cleaned of approximately a partial garbage bag amount of debris and raccoon scat -since it had rained recently, things were still a little damp, not dusty and so, a good time to clean up. We talked about various roof issues, Aaron seemed knowledgeable, easy to talk to and I found it informative. I asked for a bid to do a serious repair on the garage roof. It was promptly sent but, it turns out I can't afford it at this time. I have the information though, and if and when I should I decide to proceed with a garage roof repair, I will consider this and Aaron Carter Construction.

The company has said they will patch my roof once if it's leaking in the winter (one service call) or if I chose to buy a whole roof from them they will deduct the $159 from the cost of the roof. I was satisfied with this and would use them in the future.

It all went very well. Would recommend.

I was very disappointed with the service I received for this big deal. I had Aaron's company come out for this big deal service. Instead of actually performing the repair or service I received an estimate for the repair for additional costs. I ended up using a different company for the service. I was quoted at $275 for the total repair from a different licensed company. Aaron's company quoted me at $900 plus. So essentially I received the service/repair for $275 which was below what the stated value was for Aaron's big deal.

That was really good. He told us there had been a mix up with the coupons and he is based in Olympia and he drove up to Seattle to honor the coupon, which we didn’t necessarily think he would do if there had been a mix up. He did the work quickly and efficiently. He gave us what he felt was an honest referral. He told us we needed further repairs and he would not be able to do the work himself because of the fact that he was based out of Olympia but he was still able to tell us what the approximate cost for the work should be, so he gave us a reference for future bids.

I thought purchasing an Angieslist BigDeal would be great. I purchased it on a Sunday and sent an email giving details on the condition of my roof, my concerns and that any Friday would be perfect for his service. He calls on a Tuesday morning and says he can be there in 1 hour. I ask if he got the email and he said Yes. I told I could not be there during the middle of my work day. He said he would come and give me all the details. I had to contact the provider 10 days later to get a report of their findings. I know they were swamped by the BigDeal purchases, but I should not have to contact them to get the inspection report.

The workers were good overall. The workers missed a few spots on the roof. Aaron came out the next day and fixed it with no charge. We will consider them for future work.
