He called me back, set up a time to look at roof. His workers showed up and showed me where the roofing problem was. They fixed it a few hours.

It was fine. They did what they said they were going to do.

Very quick. Work was done in 2 days. Very professional and easy to work with.

Aaron gave us his bid and advised approximately where we were in his schedule, give or take for weather. He called to give us 24 hours notice when his crew would arrive and they were on the job promptly with materials and a large crew first thing in the morning. They had the old roofing off, a rotten spot patched and the new ice & water shield in place by mid-day. Except for a small area they were done shingling before dark and completed that the next morning. They cleaned up very thoroughly including magnetic pick up of nails & staples before they left. We couldn't be happier with the job, it is professional (better than the home's original roof and vents!!). They even re-installed the satellite dish so well that it required no adjustments, nor did they disturb the existing flashings or gutters & down spouts. I love to kibbitz and the crew was patient with my questions, which I appreciated. Hire this guy and his crew -- you won't regret it.

Initial Report below. This kind of got spoiled. Update: A month later we were billed $127.00. When I called to protest they had me talk to Aaron Carter. He told me it was for shingles or some unspecified thing that he would have to check on. Without arguing too much about how ridiculous it would be to charge $127 for a few composition shingles (the leak repair is limited to 2' x 2', after all!) I waited for a call back from him, a few days later he called and said that was it. They say "customer to provide shingles" on the ad for the Deal. Problem with that line of argument is that no one asked my wife for shingles. And they claim that the $127 is justified by the time it takes to "collect" the shingles. I have a letter from Aaron here trying to justify the charge based on that. We did not have the shingles but this attempt to bait and switch is just that and apparently Aaron believed so because he agreed to delete the charge for $127. I wrote back to him explaining that honesty that attempts to deceive is not really honesty. Too bad; he obviously has a great opinion of his business as it is. Initial Report: They were late related to the guarantee of two days; they came actually on the fourth day using the excuse that the form I used to order the service didn't take my phone number. We had previously had emails and I assured them we were at home and ready for the work to be done in the emails. They did the work quickly when they came and my wife was pleased they seemed to be easy to work with. The leak fix has held up fine.

Repaired the roof and told me that the shingles were defective. Worked with me to get a partial refund from shingle vendor.

Friendly, professional, explained the issue and what he was doing to do to fix the issue. I noted that Aaron took a little time to show, in detail, his assistant what the problem was and how he had located the problem as part of growing the assistant's skill level. A good manager practice, as I see it.

The 5 man team came out on time at 8:30 am and by about 10:30 they had all our old roofing off our roof. They had to wait about an hour for the roofing material to get here from Pabco Roofing in Tacoma. So they ate lunch while they waited. Then they worked like crazy laying it all down after the roof top delivery came. It was really warm that day and hot up on our roof, but those guys worked like crazy without stopping. Ray had to stop and go get some extra trim boards for around our fireplace chimney and then repair that area. But they were all done and cleaned up by 4:00 p.m. They were all very hard workers and very polite and respectful. They did a really great job cleaning up. My neighbors were even impressed with them and the job!

The service worked out fine. I had purchased the big deal for $391 and there were no additional charges. I had a leak and it was where some debris had built up, and he cleaned that away, and we talked about the roof clean up. They did what they said they were going to do. It wasn't particularly cheap for what I had done, but they seemed professional, and I would perhaps call them, if I had something else to do.

My husband bought the Deal of the Day for $349 roof leak repair and overall roof maintenance. It was disappointing because we used another local contractor three years ago to fix the same leak! In any case, Aaron Carter Construction got back to us right away to schedule, arrived on time, did the work well, cleaned up well and explained everything to my husband. We are pleased and will be even more pleased if our skylight never leaks again. So far so good!

It went well. They were very nice and professional. Also prompt.

It went poorly. I paid for services I did not get. Then it took numerous messages to get them to respond about the situation. However, they are providing ZERO satisfaction here and basically are not discussing the situation nor are they trying to work out things with me at all. Basically they are ignoring my messages to them .

I had a leak over my deck. Aaron called me right away and scheduled a time to come out and fix it. Ray came to check the roof and fix the leak. Both were great about calling to let me know when they would be here and were here when promised. Ray found the problem right away and fixed it quickly. It's not easy to find someone so dependable these days. The leak is fixed and he inspected the entire roof and used the leaf blower to clean the roof when he was done. Will definitely call Aaron again if needed. Thanks to both of you for such great service!

It was all right. He did give me a great deal of information on caring for the roof. I had a known problem on the roof when I bought it about a year ago and I thought the price of the deal would include at least some repair on that and he said that it would take quite a bit of repair to do that. I was a little disappointed but he was honest about it. He did a very good job educating me.

It went AWESOME! We were nervous about a few leaks we had..turned out it was less than we thought in the main house, and they fixed the one leak., Let us know that there was a plumbing venting issue..even gave me a tape measure they found in the crawlspace! They inspected our garage.which sadly.....has to have a new roof.....the materials were in great shape but whomever put it on did it wrong. Aaron explained how that was..even taking pieces of roofing from his truck to show me what went wrong. I was very comfortable with Aaron, I liked that he was straight forward, didn't talk me in circles and was happy to take the time to explain things to me when I didn't understand roofer "speak" We are going to contract them to re-roof out garage in the near future and use this company for all future roof issues...............this little company is a gem!

I had to leave my home the day after signing up with Aaron for an errand and thought Aaron would call me to set up an appointment for later in the week. When I arrived back home a short time later Aaron's technician was already on the roof even though it was pouring down rain and had already found the problem that was causing the leak. The tech was very polite, professional and quickly resolved the leak. I had left my cell phone at home when I left because the battery was low. When I checked for messages Aaron had called multiple times on both my cell and house phone to try to contact me to let me know his tech would be there that same day. I couldn't have been happier that the issue was resolved. Aaron followed up with a call later that evening and asked if everything had been to my satisfaction. I told him how much I appreciated his quick response and the technicians professional, friendly and courteous attitude. If I ever need any roofing work again Aaron will be the first one I call.

They were very good on following up. It was a bigger leak than what I had imagined. They figured it out and took care of it. They took care what could have potentially been a lot more.

I purchased the Big Deal for a 2' x 2' roof repair. I had a blower for a commercial vent hood installed and the original installer did not seal it properly. I wanted Aaron Carter construction to come fix where it was leaking around the housing. After inspection, Ray informed me that he would need some different materials and some scaffolding in order to perform the job. He also let me know that my roof was pitched a little more severely than a normal roof and that would cost extra. I did read the fine print before purchasing the Big Deal because I know my roof is steep, so I was expecting an additional cost. They were inundated with calls for the Big Deal apparently, so it was a while before Aaron got back to me to schedule the repair. He sent me a quote with the additional charges (about $1100 additional after $400 Big Deal credit) and we set up the appointment. Ray called me to let me know both when he was starting the job and when he was finished. They did a very thorough job, left the worksite clean and completely fixed the leak so it will never happen again. I would use them again.

First of all, save yourself the time and trouble and just go with this firm ! After getting numerous bids and trying to compare price, services and reputation we went with Aaron Carter and could not have been more pleased. First off, the bid was fair and Aaron was the first and only firm to suggest that they provide a crew to come over during our Sept. "record setting rainfall" and cover the roof with plastic to prevent further damage. He cared about us and our rental property.....NOT just getting the contract ! This impressed us and just like the others have said he and his crew do an outstanding job. It is important to note here (attention roofing competitors ) that a customer wants a "complete and total bid". A customer does NOT want to be charged variable sums for hauling away the old roofing material and "special deals" on gutters to confuse the final contract price......NOTE to competitors.....show that you are aware of any leaking problems and predicted weather conditions that might further damage a home and offer to do something immediately ! Aaron and his crew were prompt....and always kept the communication going....we knew exactly what to expect, when they would arrive and they even completed an additional roof on our mailbox enclosure for very little cost. After each day they cleaned up everything and closed the gate as we had asked. They completed the roof in two days, it is beautiful and will last a lifetime . Thank you Aaron ! You will be getting many referrals from us !

Ray came on time and went right to work locating not only the visible leak we had contracted for, but finding others as well. He gave us tips on prevention, swept the accumulated fir tree needles from the roof valley and repaired the gap in the flashing at the chimney. He had a wonderful attitude and work ethic. Cleaned up everything before leaving. I would highly recommend this company for honest, up-front information on the job being performed and excellent completed work

Aaron always returned my calls. If I had questions he was always willing to answer them. He is the best person to work with. I would always say use Aaron Carter. He is the best. My dog likes him too.

I had already had one previous estimate completed. The estimate that he provided said that there would be a 3% charge for credit card processing. The estimate did not include the costs of new decking, but he did tell me it would be $50 per sheet of plywood if he had to replace them. The thing that really threw me was the inclusion of a note that said: "Many updates available...". I do not like when my estimates don't include a total cost. Having 'updates availble' makes me think its an easy way to add things on during the course of the work. This is the main reason I went with someone else.

I have not scheduled with them yet as I am finishing up other items on our "to do" list at this time. I will revisit this quote when we are ready to proceed with the work.
