Description of Work: While prompt in providing the roof repair - they never provided what work actually was done. Additionally they stated that my roof was in need of major work due to "sloping issues" and they were going to give me photos and more information. After asking for this multiple times, I never got anything. | |Just have to HOPE they actually did something, other than stand on my roof for a couple hours.

Description of Work: When I signed up for the special priced roof inspection I understood the company would contact me within a couple of days to set it up. I waited about a week and called and got the impression that I was bothering the person who set up the appointment. No written report was provided, which I understood was included in the service. | |The person who did the inspection was very professional and provided a complete oral report at the conclusion. I was quite happy with the inspector and the service he provided.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for roof leak repair for $349. The deal covered a small area, but they had to repair quite a bit more to fix the leak. It cost about $1000. It did take them a long time to get back to me, but it was a very busy time of year.

Description of Work: I've allowed several weeks of rainy weather to pass before writing this review to ensure there was no more leakage. I had a significant leak at or near the skylight. I narrowed the source of the leak to the skylight by covering it with sheet plastic which stopped the leak, so I searched Angie's List for an honest and reputable roofer to replace the skylight. The top three at that time on AL were Guardian Roofing, Pritchett's Roofing, and Aaron Carter Const, all rated "A". Guardian Roofing received good reviews but a couple of reviewers indicated quality work at a higher cost (no doubt to pay for all that advertising) so I skipped to Pritchett's Roofing and gave them a call, leaving a voice mail requesting an estimate (several calls actually) but never received a response. Next was Aaron Carter Const. Left a voice mail with him and received a courteous response within an hour. I described my problem and Aaron said skylights only last 20 years or so (mine was 28 years old). When asked for an estimate, he said he'd send someone to inspect and measure the skylight. When his employees arrived, they were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Measurements taken, I was told Aaron would price a new skylight (I wanted one that would open manually) and get back to me which he did in a timely manner. His estimate for the skylight and installation was just shy of $1,000, to which I agreed. I should note here, there was no up-sell or pressure. After receiving the skylight, Aaron called and scheduled the installation. When the same two employees arrived, I felt relieved, given their professionalism on the first visit (past experience with a roofing company didn't go too well). Installation took a little longer than expected when it became necessary to trim drywall at the base of the skylight inside the house. The final invoice was slightly more than the estimate ($1196 with tax included) which I thought fair given the extra work necessary to fit the skylight. Couldn't be happier with the new skylight and Aaron Carter Const. and would use them again without hesitation. |

Description of Work: I first called in late June about having some major work done on my roof. Work included some tear-off and rot replacement that could only be done in good weather. This was made clear at that time. I knew he was busy so I told him if he didn't think he could get to the work this summer, that's OK, I would call someone else. Contractor expressed interest in doing the work, then I didn't hear anything back for about a month. I called back, we set up an appointment, and he came out to work up a bid. Two weeks later (this being already into August) I got the bid. It sounded reasonable for the work involved and I immediately gave the OK. Contractor never came out or called back. | |Now I will go through another winter fighting these leaks in the roof. Again, he may do great work, but it's not right to accept a project and not come through.

Description of Work: Fixed a roof leak. The leak is fixed. They did a good job. Scheduling was a bit difficult because they were busy. Overall very good experience.

Description of Work: I called for a re-roof estimate. Ray came right at the appointed time. It was raining, so I showed him water dripping from the ceiling. He went up on the roof in the pouring rain, found the faulty shingle, and replaced it. That convinced us to go with Aaron Carter for our re-roof, now scheduled for July.

Description of Work: I purchased The Big Deal, $391 for a Roof Leak Repair & Roof Maintenance Package. They did a very good job! We’ve had some very heavy rain since they came out and the roof has held up fine.
