Joshua was very easy to work with and friendly. There was never any pressure to go with certain things or have to use certain materials. Him and his crew we very considerate of the home while doing the work and you could tell that they really cared about getting the job done correct. They should up on time and were very responsive with communication. I would hire well done interiors again for any project i need in the future. The scope of my project was rather unique but they were very accommodating to figuring out a way to make it work.

We could not have been happier. Josh Wells and his team were professional, punctual, friendly, clean and they even liked hanging out with our 2 Great Danes. Josh not only has a keen eye for detail and is a master craftsman he has incredible insight into design. He helped us make decisions that made our projects exceed even our highest expectations. Remodeling can be stressful but Josh and his team, made it fun and exciting. I am actually looking for more projects to invite them back!

Terrible. Things started off good and I thought they were going to work out. But in the end there were tons of problems. I tried to work it out with the owner Josh but he doesnt return my texts emails or calls. When he finally did respond he basically accused me of owing him money and said if I take him to court he will countersued. I have the cancelled checks and receipts to prove otherwise. When I told him that he never responded. final Electrical inspection was never done which I didnt find out about till May 2015. The shower he installed leaks and has ruined the sub floor. The flooring was not done correctly in the kitcken. They didn't fully install it under the kitchen stove so there is a six inch gap. So the laminate slides open showing the sub floor in the kitchen. He was supposed to install insulation in the crawl space and it was done incorrectly. I have 2 estimates and a statement from a PUD inspector staring it was not installed properly and is hanging down, the wrong insulation was also used and the wrong plastic as well. He also was supposed to repair and install a clean out outside which I paid 500 for. Later I found out it was not done properly and was not legal. The city inspector wanted the name of the contractor and I didn't give him his name. At the time I really wanted to work all the problems out with Josh and didn't want to cause him any problems. In the end it cost me almost 1000.00 to fix that mistake. I bought the majority of the materials, the bathroom cabinet, flooring, mirror, all the flooring for the entire house, the list goes on. He never reimbursed me for what I spent. I have every text, email canceled check etc. If your looking for someone to do any type of construction work DO NOT TRY Well Done Interiors. He does a terrible Job and ignores you once he gets paid. I trusted him to follow through with his contract. I believed he was a man of his word. Clearly I learned a valuable lesson. Stay far away from this Contractor. I'll be going to court.
Description of Work: Did repairs, put in flooring, installed new kitchen cabinets, gutted and remodeled bathroom. Work was done following a flood.
Josh was very responsive despite being quite busy. At initial contact, he was up-front about a big project that had his team committed, but committed our place on his schedule. An opening in the schedule allowed him to slip our project in early. Josh took a look at our living room un-sinking project, gave me an $1800 bid, described exactly how he'd perform the work, and provided options for how the new floor height could/should work with adjacent hardwood. His team showed-up as promised, resolved a couple of squeaks in the previous floor, and completed the work a bit earlier than expected. Josh lowered the final price accordingly. I felt his work was exceptional - flooring nailed and glued, rock solid and level with no squeaks. He delivered exactly as promised at a fair price and clearly takes great pride in his work and business. Would definitely use these guys for future projects.

It couldn't have gone better! Josh is professional, polite and skilled and works efficiently. He is good about communicating the various options for projects and with working to find a solution. Finding Josh/ Well Done Interiors is a HUGE load off my mind. I no longer stress about when we will have the time to do little house projects (not to mention whether we even KNOW how to do them), I'll just call Josh!
Description of Work: What DIDN'T Josh do?! Josh completed multiple little projects around the house. He installed a towel rack, fixed a bathtub faucet, secured four toy/ book shelves to the walls (including a VERY heavy china cabinet), fixed a crooked cabinet, fixed a crooked door, hung a huge picture frame, and hung a little coat hanger. He is VERY skilled and works very efficiently.

Josh bid the job prior and upon working discovered rotted hidden planks on the fence. Fence is 15 years old. He showed me the issue and gave a fair bid to replace the new fence issues. He also installed 2 hidden gates to gain access to the other side of the fence. He showed very creative ways to fix any requested issues. I highly recommend him as a handyman.

This is the second time I had hired Joshua for the home project(s). This man is a Jack - as well as Master - of all trades related to house. He has a good eye - and lots of common sense - for finding the cause of the problem and then come up with a practical way to fix it for a reasonable price. I would hire him again and readily recommend him to my family and friends.

Initially very responsive, came to site when scheduled. Waited 2 weeks for any communication regarding an estimate and finally called and he apologized for the delay and received the estimate a few days later. After some very slow back and forth via email where we agreed to hire him, we set an estimated construction start date of August 16th. We needed to meet before to get measurements and to discuss flooring. He emailed that he could be available the Saturday before the 16th. I responded on the Tuesday before that Saturday was good, how about 2:30. That is the last I have heard from him. No call no show on the Saturday meet, and of course no show to start work. Not sure what the problem is, but I am not going to chase after someone that is either spread too thin or too disorganized. I am grateful that I did not give any of my money away.

Mr. Wells came and repaired the fence. He passed to the back yard and pointed out panels on my gate were in need of repair. I agreed and appreciated his observation and had him do the job. He finalized his stay by fixing the back door entry and repairing the dry root. I have used his services before and was very pleased of his skills and the equipment he carries with him to do almost any task at a reasonable price.. Thanks Angie for a list of reliable good contractors. Jack Richard

Josh and his crew were fantastic. The bidding process was easy and everything was clearly explained so we knew exactly what had to be done. Everyone was in constant contact with us before, during, and after the construction. The crew (led by Jared) was EXTREMELY professional, plus super nice and helpful. Poor guy even came inside the house a few times to advise or help fix some problems created by the (lousy) window installers that were working at the same time. He always had a big smile and (literally) worked ALL day - he doesn't stop for breaks or even lunch! He cleaned up every inch of debris at the end of every day, unlike the window installers who left trash on my lawn for days and my parking strip is still littered with their cigarette butts. The job ended up being far more difficult than planned because the original structure was so off kilter and more damaged than was visible beforehand, but all of the extra work (and expense) was discussed with us as it came up and we were able to make decisions on the spot as to how to proceed. I will definitely hire Well-Done Interiors in the future and highly recommend them.

. It was the best contractor experience I have ever had. First of all, when I called him he said he was booked currently and couldn't get out for another few weeks. I explained it was to remodel a very small guest bathroom and that the toilett had been leaking so I shut the water off and taped the lid shut. I also explained that my dear friend of 40 years (we met in 1973 in the Army when we were undergoing basic training at the home of the Women's Army corps [WAC]) was coming soon and I wanted her to be able to have her bathroom ready to use. He then said, well let me come out in a couple of days to see it and then I could squeeze you in between my current job in your area. Well, he came with two men and gave them the go-ahead to start the job. He kept me informed all throughout the day. His crew was very courteous and they hauled away the old toilet, flooring, molding, etc. and left the bathroom spotlessly clean. I also got an estimate for replacing the handle on the shower in my bathroom as it is a knob type and one of my frequent guests can't turn it on or control the temperature because she has severe arthritis in her hands. I will be tackling that project very soon and told him I would definitely hire him for the job. This was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: Cost was for labor only for 8 hours of work; a deal on Angie's list. He was hired to work on my guest bathroom to replace an old toilet that was leaking at the base, to replace dark crown ceiling molding with oak molding, and to replace the vinyl sheet flooring. This was a small bathroom (5'x4') floor space. I provided the materials. When he pulled out the old toilet he said that the subflooring was very old and not level. He replaced it with a new one with no cost to me. Also, he relocated the floor heat vent (gas furnace) which was half covered by the current vanity cabinet by sealing it off and putting in a new vent at the front base of the vanity. He also replaced the floor molding with new rubber ones that matched the new fiberglass backed 1/8 inch vinyl flooring I had bought. He and his assistant worked straight through from around 8:30am - 5 pm. I am thrilled with my new bathroom! It is so beautiful. The past few days, I go in there every day at least 3-4 times just to admire it. My guests will think they're at the Ritz when they go in there
Josh was responsive to our call for a bid, and exceptionally polite and honest with his opinions on what we could do. He scheduled the remodels to suit our need to have both bathrooms operational during a family visit. Josh kept to the schedule, and is one of those who does what he says, and says what he does. His two employees assigned to our projects (Jared and Ulysses) were also just as polite, careful with our home, our time, and worked hard. We rarely saw them take a break - they were always on the move doing something. They answered every one of our questions during the entire process without a qualm. Josh prepared us on what to expect for dust in the house, and the guys cleaned up their tools and materials at the end of every day to minimize it. We allowed them to utilize our garage as a staging area for materials - and never once had any issues with how they used it. Josh recommended an overhead light in the larger shower stall - and despite my concern on how bright it would be - it has turned out to be the best thing we could have done. They did a beautiful job laying out the tile and making our ideas turn into reality. We could not be happier with the final product or the experience. In my 30 years of construction management experience, there have been 3 times that I call "magic" - where everyone on the job is truly working toward a common goal, contributing ideas to the project, and enjoying working with each other. This was one of those times. It's not easy having a contractor in the middle of your house for several days (main bath), much less in the master bedroom in the back of the house for the other bath, but we looked forward to every day Josh, Jared and Ulysses were with us.
Description of Work: Remodeled two bathrooms in our home. In one bathroom replaced the outdated Masonite tub surround with new walls and ceramic tile, replaced tub, toilet, subfloor, floor, medicine cabinet, vanity top, and paint. In the other bathroom removed the original 1970 preformed fiberglass small shower stall and built a new larger shower with tile surfacing. Replaced the floor, toilet, vanity top and paint.

He was respectable with the pricing. He was one of the most integral contractors I have ever met. His subcontractors are really good.
Description of Work: He replaced the doors, the door frames. He replaced the kitchen flooring and cabinetry. He also fixed some work done by a prior contractor in the bathroom. He also painted the entire house and added molding to the floor. He also hung shelving and hung hooks for the bathroom. He also worked with the foundation specialist to make sure they knew all the details and I got everything paid for.

Josh and his helper showed up on time. They removed the siding and replaced the rotten plywood under the siding. They replaced a door which also had some water damage with a pre-hung door. Finally they waterproofed and painted the work. Josh plastered a portion of the ceiling in the living room and painted the area, then replace a screen in a door. What can I say other than they did a great job. No leaks in the area repaired and it looks great. The painted ceiling blends in perfectly with the unpainted area. One problem occurred when Josh was working around the front door. He accidental drove his elbow into a stained glass window. Rather than try to patch it, he called a glass company that knew just how to repair it. They were there in 24 hours and replaced the glass. It looked as good as new and of course Josh picked up the cost.

Josh and his crew get an A+ for Punctuality, Professionalism, and attention to Detail. When we contacted Josh for the quote, he arrived on time, was very attentive to our needs and gave great recommendations and input. He was detailed, proficient and has great attention to detail. His ideas incorporated the style, décor and functionality of our home. Originally we wanted to place a door in our basement, in hopes of obtaining a comfortable temperature that would be comparable with the upstairs, but Josh advised us putting a door would ruin the flow and aesthetics of the house. Josh not only gave us other appealing ideas but more economical ideas to keeping the basement at a more comfortable temperature. As we had already known, the steps on both levels of the house were not sufficiently nailed and glued when remodeled, so the risk to injury was real. Josh immediately addressed the stairs and we now have very sturdy and beautiful stairs. The icing on the cake was the fireplace remodel. I now find myself sitting with a cup of coffee on the steps just looking at the new fireplace. His sketches for our awkward fireplace was absolutely beautiful. The finish product was even better. We love our new fireplace and curio.
Description of Work: We needed new base board heating in the basement, base molding added to the basement. We also needed 2 flights of stairs to be re-nailed and glued and we wanted the fireplace mantle and surround re-built as our original was a high school shop class project.
