 + -1 moreI found Bruce's name on Angie's list and asked him and another local tree service for bids. Bruce's bid was about 40% lower than the competitor and while normally that would be a red flag indicating that the service or work would not be as good, we decided to go with Bruce because he was able to get the job done within our time line. The crew (Toby, Jason, Derrick, Sue and Joe) were all great, especially when my neighbor and I kept adding more to the to-do list. They were meticulous about clean up and were very respectful of all of our neighbors property. When the final bill came, even after all of the extra work, it was below what the other bid would have been.
Description of Work: My neighbor and I had about 40 trees removed for view enhancement. The trees varied in size and type but about 75% were small alders and willows and the rest were firs. Many trees were on a fairly steep slope and none could be left on the ground so all had to be hauled out and chipped. A large boom truck was used to ensure that no damage was done to a nearby wetland or to another neighbor's garden. The project took about 3 days total.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE EXCELLENT AT THEIR JOB. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. MY ONLY PROBLEM WAS COMMUNICATION, AT FIRST, TO GET THEM HERE. THAT WAS MY COMPLAINT. THEY DIDN'T COME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, BUT THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB WHEN THEY DID GET HERE. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE PRECISION WITH WHICH THEY DROPPED THE LIMBS. THERE WERE HOUSES, CARS, AND OTHER SPECIAL TREES AND BUSHES THAT I DIDN'T WANT DAMAGED.
Description of Work: I HAD 9 TREES CUT DOWN, 6 TREES TOPPED AND ONE STUMP REMOVED.
