The owner definitely did not want to hear from us, or deal with the mistake. Because we pursued, we were finally able to return the item (at our expense for mailing) and get a credit for the extra belt that was sent. It could have been handled so much better by them, by simply requesting we return it and they would credit our account. But for some reason, they made it more difficult by insisting we ordered two of them. I realize it was a small order for them, but they still could have provided better customer service. Hopefully their repair service is better....
Description of Work: I ordered one lawn mower belt from this company. They sent me two, and charged me for two. I called them and explained I didn't order two and didn't need an extra. The owner insisted I ordered two. After repeated calls, and faxing them the original order (which showed one belt ordered, but then scribbled below in handwriting was written "two belts") I was told to send it back and they would credit our account. All in all, it was a hassle and he was rather rude. I personally wouldn't do business with them again.
