Seatown Electric Plumbing Heating & Air

My experience with SeaTown Electric was totally positive. Lisa Peck in their office set the tone, responding to my online request for an estimate within a few hours and then answering the phone when I called the next day to set up an estimate. It's so refreshing to deal with a contractor who actually answers the phone when you call, rather than having to leave a message with an answering service or voice mail. Owner Brandon Phillips arrived at my house to provide the estimate. Replacing my out of code electrical panel was not something I had anticipated, but I was not pressured by Brandon to have it done. I made an appointment with him to replace the bathroom fan, and after considering it overnight, decided to go ahead with the replacement of the panel. Matt and Mitchell arrived on time to do the job. They removed their shoes upon entry to my house, cleaned up at the end of the job, and completed the entire installation in about 6 hours, without any problem. At the completion of the job, Matt even worked with me to set a date for the inspector to come out and sign off on the job, and said his office would contact the inspector with the date. Everyone I dealt with at SeaTown was friendly and professional. Their customer service is outstanding and their electricians are competent and efficient. I have already recommended them to a couple of friends, and will be using them for any electrical needs in the future.

Scheduling was easy (Lisa at the office is a gem and super responsive/helpful). I called prior to appt because I was hearing/reading negative info about generator plug vs transfer switch. Supervisor Brandon gave me the full scoop and instilled confidence that this was the right move. I upgraded to 50 amp ($150). Electrician came out and realized my generator was set up only for 30 amp. Matt called the office and adjusted work order (in fact, Matt drove to Seattle to get the part needed for my job - wow). Work was neat and clean. There was an issue with circuit adjacent to interlock system tripping - Matt assured it was good - it wasn't ideal but worked ultimately. Matt was very informative - offered some extra services and left quotes/info. Larissa at Seatown set up inspection for me and sent me all info (very helpful!). 7 days later on Friday...Inspector shut off power for inspection and when he turned back on, the dryer circuit wouldn't stay on (the same problem electrician and I had discussed during install). Inspector said dryer circuit should have been moved away from interlock plate - fail. Panic - inspector cautioned me not to use dryer. I was going out of town for a week and it's Friday afternoon! Wife needs dryer. I called Seatown - Lisa hooked me up with Brandon (while inspector still at my house). I told Brandon I was concerned about the situation. Brandon made the solution happen and had a (different) electrician at my house in 90 minutes (late on Friday afternoon). The dryer circuit was moved and a follow-up appt made to replace the panel cover. Here's where Brandon went way over and above to make this right - the new panel cover was installed at no cost to me ( I offered to pay for this as it would have been necessary to buy new panel cover if dryer circuit was moved in initial install - I wasn't charged). Electrician Bryan noted that the new panel cover was superior to the all aluminum cover being replaced. I am now ready for re-inspection (and any power outage...) Thank you Seatown Electric for being so supportive, responsive, friendly, and professional - impressive.

EXCELLENT service and installation from a very professional, caring, and friendly staff. Lisa (office), Matt, and Brandon (electricians) answered questions, followed up and followed through. Work passed inspection with flying colors. My only suggestion would be that the drywall cuts be done a little more neatly. This is an extremely minor thing that does not affect how the inlet plug works. My perfectionist tendencies are trying to figure out how to make these cuts more aesthetically pleasing to the eye (perhaps framing in the electrical panel and doing some minor painting). Except for getting a new power cable for my generator, I am READY for the next power outage. I have already highly recommended Seatown Electric to friends and family! THANK YOU, Seatown Electric! I have more work to be done in the future and you will be my only phone call.

Very well. Matt was punctual and quick. His work is neat, and he vacuumed up after himself. He even went and got the special light bulbs that went into the fixture in the bathroom when he found that the new fixture didn't include them. And I like that he gave me a special bid for extra jobs that he noticed our house could use...especially the panel surge protector since we recently purchased new TVs, stereos, laundry pair and refrigerator which could be damaged by surges in our home's electrical system. The electrician was prompt, professional and quick. Gave a good explanation of what the problem was (the outlet was faulty and needed replacement), explained what needed to be done, and took care of it in no time. The replacement outlet works great.

They were very prompt and professional, neat and respectful of my house. I also had them replace the switch with a timer. I am very satisfied with their work.

The work was fine, but I wish I wouldn't have bought the deal becasue it would have been much cheaper otherwise.

We love Seatown Electric. They were the lowest bid by $6,000. They were the only bid willing to work with us and the inspectors to keep the panel in it's original location and were successful in pleasing us and the inspectors. A couple of unforeseen things came up and they fully absorbed all additional costs. We ended up having a strange experience with the inspector and Seatown covered all costs of additional work and cut us a check out of respect for our time being available for the additional work and additional inspection. We highly recommend Seatown Electric to others!

Thomas did an awesome job! He was quick to diagnose our outlet issue and repaired it within a half hour - even walked me through potentially installed some recessed lights in our DARK living room! Very professional and courteous! Will be calling them back for any future needs - and potentially to install some suggested lighting in our living room!

Since another contractor doing outside painting needed the exterior outlets, I was pleased that I was able to schedule this electrical work within a week from when I called. On the scheduled day,the electrician was running a little late, but called to inform me and arrived within a half hour of when he was scheduled. The electrician, Matt, was knowledgable, efficient in his time, and very pleasant to deal with. He made a special trip to pick up switches that matched the existing color in the bathroom. I was pleased with dealing with him and would definitely consider using SeaTown Electric again. The Angies List deal worth $249 that I had purchased made the cost quite reasonable.

The electricians were efficient in regards to time on the job and the work performed was well done.

Matt the electrician was prompt to arrive within the three hour window and completed the work within a couple hours. I had my generator somewhat jury rigged, and this makes for a much cleaner and usable hook up. My entire panel is now accessible using my generator, and I can pick and choose what breaker I want on (since I only have a 6500 watt generator). It also has a fool-safe switch that would prevent back feed when the power returns. A couple things - the picture of the Generac generator on their advertisement is obviously not included, and you will also need to pay sales tax after the service is completed (in my case, about $75). That information is listed in the details. Excellent job - will use them again for any further electrical work.

Had a new porch light to install and got the big deal. Was called the next day to set up an appointment. Technical called and actually showed up early. Work was very professional. Had enough time left to replace two light switches. He took his shoes off when entering our house. After the appointment I got a call from their office to see if everything went well and if I was satisfied with their work.

Great experience. Everyone was courteous, clean, and punctual. Easy scheduling. Would definitely use them again.

He figured out the problem within 5 minutes. He discovered the builder had covered up the GFI buttons behind a wall plate in the master closet. He replaced the plate with the proper one, tripped the button and everything worked. I am sure we were the easiest job of the day but we had no idea where to look. We had tripped every button we found in the house before we called for help. We now have working lights in our shower and over the tub and all the outlets work. I wish we had figured that out ourselves, but hey, that is way we hired it out.

They were very good. There was a bit of miscommunication. When I first called them I talked to the main guy and he said he would be the one to come and to schedule it. Then as it turned out his helper or somebody else came and they did not call me. The guy who came was absolutely excellent and good. The only other thing was, supposedly according to the big deal, they were supposed to do a complete safety check and the guy said he had to leave. I had to ask for him to do it. He did do it but said you have to ask for it. Otherwise it was excellent, fine and quick. The price for the Angie's List thing was great. I had to be proactive in understanding what was going on. If I bought it up they were responsive. I felt like I had to be proactive in dealing with him.

I think it was part of the deal. I'd give them a B based on the follow-up. I had two or three other jobs for them to do. I had asked them to get an estimate on it and it did not work out for them. They should be following up. The gentleman that was out there said he was just out of the estimate forms. He said he would get back to me and never got back. Their price was very reasonable. They got it done very quickly.

They did a good job. There were no issues with the work they did. It was pretty fast and he was able to handle the work fairly quickly without any questions or any additional tools and parts needed for the job. It worked out pretty good. They were pretty responsive. They were professional and reliable. They're honest.

It went extremely well he explained everything he was doing he cleaned up afterwards and everything looks very professional. Great job. This is the 2nd time we have used them both times excellent work

Seatown's Bryan showed up promptly. He had called to let me know he was on the way. I had wanted to have him install a new box and plug but he informed me that the connection would have been in a furnace room and was unable to connect to the electric in there. He was able to change out three plugs and install a new thermostat for a forced air electric heater in my office. He also checked my breaker box and made suggestions on how to upgrade it. He was very professional, friendly, and tidy - and an excellent representative of Seatown.
