Amazing professional experience from Brandon and his whole crew. They've set the bar high for what we expect from service providers. They had to drill a number of holes to run the upgraded wiring and they somehow kept the place spotless each day when we came home. Great communication from Brandon and their office the entire time. We thankfully now have an electrician we will be using for the rest of the time we'll be in this house.

This company is just great. I had a full day of various companies coming in to finish the FHA requirements for the buyer's loan. Bryan came right on time and was so pleasant and positive. He read all the the jobs listed on the form and said he had all of equipment needed to complete the job. So nice as sometimes parts must be ordered but he had all items stocked in his truck. He started right in and completed all tasks required in a timely fashion. I have had many occasions to hire electricians and this was the absolute best ever. I only wish they worked in Anacortes where I could use some work done.
Description of Work: We are selling our home and this work was required by the bank for a FHA Loan. We needed 3 GFI's installed and a certification that knob and tube wiring in the attic was disconnected or not a hot line and a few other things.

Thomas and Mitch from Seatown Electric wrapped up our rewire yesterday, and they really did an outstanding job. We were really impressed with the creativity they used to minimize the number of holes needed to be cut into the walls. Additionally, they were very respectful of our home by religiously taking off their shoes each time they came inside )important considering how much its been raining lately) and by cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. We're very satisfied customers of Seatown Electric and will recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Bryon and Blake provided efficient and excellent service. They showed up on time and completed the project within the estimated time frame. They helped me find replacement boxes for floor outlets. They are very customer service oriented and explained the things they were doing in ways it made it easy to understand. They deserve an A+ rating. Every interaction I had with SEATown was professional and efficient. The office staff are friendly and very willing to help. I got the sense they truly appreciated our business. I would not only recommend them, I will hire them to do any residential work I have in the future.
Description of Work: Replaced our 1980's aluminum electrical panel with a new completely copper panel and updated the electrical to current code including protections against lightening strikes. They installed required GFCI outlets and offered solid advice and recommendations on other items of concern. Tightened loose electrical outlets and installed new dimmers and other boxes as needed to upgrade our home in preparation to sell it.

They were right on time and used booties to protect our floors. However, the price seemed very high considering that we provided the fan and all they had to do was to install it. Since they could not quote before they saw the job, I felt that they charged us more because we live in a nicer neighborhood. Otherwise, the two repairmen were clean, efficient and professional. They were friendly and allowed me to clean behind the stove while it was out, and they took away the old fan. If we used them again, we would have to compare prices with other electricians.

He had the supplies he needed in the service truck and was able to get the two issues we had been living with for so long repaired / resolved. (Plus it was one more oak-trimmed light bar from the 1980's eliminated from our home.) I learned a few things in the process as a bonus. There was also a follow-up note concerning our home's electrical system which I'll write about when we have it addressed. Matt was quite thorough and comes across as knowledgeable. He also provided estimates for some other electrical projects we're having done over the next eight or nine months. The office staff was professional and helpful. Long story short: well done and carry on.

For almost 10K USD, we simply expect more. hope all homeowners can be smarter than me and don't make similar mistakes We had trip off problems with 2 rooms and were planning on building a home theatre so we called Seatown electric. 1) first guy came to our house said they will install 2 dedicated circuit to my desktops and did not mention a single word that we need to replace our panel. on the day the came in i pointed that out and they wanted and charged me $604 more just for adding the missing circuit. my mistake: i did not double check his writing, he wrote that they will install "1 dedicated circuit with 2 outlets to desktop computers" my mistake 2: i should've stop their work at that moment rather than continuing my false trust on them 2) they asked us to provide 5.1 speakers, didn't mention any potential issue that our room structure may have issue that we need to change the direction of home theater to get the surrounding speakers mounted on the wall my mistake: should've never trusted a company that doesn't do design or doesn't even go through the design with customer 3) the day they came in and saying our panel doenn't have enough breaker space to install new circuits so they need to charge $2450 more to install a new panel and throw away the old one. my mistake: although what has to be done needs to be done, i should've never allowed such kind of on the fly adding charges happen. 4) they drilled more than 10 holes (5-6 inch diameters each) on my dry walls to do inwall wiring and when i ask them to cover it with some plastic covers, they replied in email says "Yeah we don't do drywall repair. That would be done by another company". before i received this reply, i was only concerned, i would give them 4 star out of five etc, but now they leave me the only choice to give them 1 star, if not zero. Great, so the time they mentioned that they need to drill on the drywall, they never mentioned that I the homeowner paid more than 10K USD need to fix it. 5) i provided speaker wall mount unit that with pre-settup wire hole in the mount panel. they just install it without properly wire speaker cable through the panel, making it exetremely ugly. but i explictedly had a discussion with them and showed them pictures that how i wanted it to be done. 6) no any spec of inwall wiring or so ever. they use the cheapest wiring they can find on the market. in wall 12 gauge speaker wire for about 40 feet in wall wiring? no, they installed 16 gauge wire. although it's barely under the maximum length of 16 gauge, it's just making me feel like paying $50 bucks for a McDonald's burger. as I am typing, i'm kinda surprised that how stupid i was and how much money i wasted. but to help future homeowners avoid this kind of unhappy experience. i'm sending this out.
Description of Work: *) the company's reply simply makes me sick. let me just list out a few facts and i'm done with "communication". i'm not gonna use this company in the future so why should i waste more time on them *) at the first consultation we agreed orally that we need TWO CIRCUITS for TWO desktops. what you wrote was not what we agreed, the fact that i did not discovered that earlier does not justify the fact that you wrote something different from mutual oral agreement. *) i called and left voice message saying that "the broken holes on my wall looks like half done project, can you consider rework on it? please give me back a call when you have time" and i never got reply until one day after i post the F review. how dare you say this is the first time you know any issue? before i called you you guys even sent email saying "Yeah we don't do drywall repair. That would be done by another company", "Just give those drywall plugs to the sheet rocker. They will place them in the wall, normally we don't even do what ***** did. I'm not sure why he put them in the wall". look at your own wording, does it even look like close to considering customers' need? and after the F review you started to spam my phone call during my daytime work, is that how you respect others? *) as professional electricians, your wording implies that i had no choice other than replacing the panel with a larger one on your 2nd visit. however, your electricians did take a look at the panel at the first time and said NOTHING that i need to replace it. *) the time that you asked to make holes on my walls, you said NOTHING that homeowners need to fix them. if i knew it before i would have disallowed you to continue the job. *) you are saying that all good reviews are against my F review, do a simple math please, see if you can get it even by summing up all other transactions listed in other reviews. you charged more, you should do more, a simple rule. i'm not paying 7 or 8 grands to change my light bulb. *) and yet you want to buy my good review? " I hope with the sheetrock being taken care of and the discount on the circuit you can wipe clear the review, it would really help our reputation on Angie's List." sorry, last chance provided while i called and left voice message. and you killed it by ignoring my phone call + voice message, and your arrogant emails. TRUTH IS NOT FOR SALE. 1) had agreement to install 2 dedicated circuits for 2 computers but they somehow only listed 1 circuit and charged $604 more for 2nd circuit 2) without pre examination and asked for replacing panel for additional $2450 3) installed in-wall wires for 5.1 speakers 4) installed projector screen 5) drilled 10+ holes on my drywalls without mentioning that they are not gonna fix the drywall, now they ask me myself to fix them 6) had an agreement that will wire through my provided wall mount panel but they didn't install the wall mount speakers as we agreed.

Response from Seatown Electric Plumbing Heating & Air
Thank you for taking the time to review our company, This is the very first time we have known of ANY issues at your home, our technicians said everything went great and you were happy. Our office staff gave you a follow up call and everything was great according to you and your wife? And then the F review out of nowhere, We have tried to make multiple attempts to call you and resolve the issues. We would love to help out but we cant seem to get in touch with you after you posted the review. I guess we are a bit confused on the review, here is what we can recall from the visit: First we would never claim we design theaters, not once did we mention that during the whole process although there really was not any design needed. You said from the beginning that you where buying all the speakers and that they would be in wall style, by changing to surface mount style you forced yourself to "re-design" the room. It would not have mattered to us which way the room was laid out. You choose the speakers, had we provided them, or if you stuck to the original plan the room would have stayed the same We went off the manufactures specs on the gauge of speaker wire. It would not have mattered to us what gauge wire, 16 gauge is what was recommended by the manufacture. Again if we had know this was an issue we would have changed it out no questions asked. The amount of circuits that you payed for in contract was a total of two, you have the copy of the proposal. And you requested one more on day one of the install we cant do it for free? The holes we drilled were not 6 inches, every hole we cut is 3 inches round, all of the plugs that we cut out we save for the sheet rocker to use, the pictures show how we plug the holes. All of the damage necessary to the walls was discussed prior to even cutting one hole. The email you sent was asking us to put blank plates over the holes. I was confused by this and responded "the sheet rocker just needs the plug to patch the wall, thinking that you planned on getting the holes patched. If you want a white blank plate over them we can do that too. Every speaker was installed, in the review you said we refused to installed the brackets, yet the picture shows them mounted? If we failed to tuck the wire back the way you would like, we can fix it, Just say something to us and we will fix it no questions asked. It was never mentioned on site. Your new electrical panel was not needed to complete this job, nor did anyone tell you that. We simply said your current panel would be full, or maxed out with the additional circuits, leaving no room for future additions. You decided on your own that you wanted room for future expansion. We would NEVER go into contract with a customer with intentions of forcing you to buy something to complete your contracted job, thats why we offer free consultations, or estimates. I really hate sounding defensive, and I was not going to post anything since our reputation goes against everything listed in this review. But feel we have the right to explain the real story here. Again, we would love to talk out the issues that you have but we need better communication. We have tried email, voicemail, text. We are here for our customers. Hope to hear from you soon.

Fantastic ! I called around and everybody was booked out about a week. Came across Seatown Electric and noticed they had 0 bad grade reviews. I was impressed ,usually there is always a couple of people you can't please no matter how hard you try. They had been booked like everyone else but just had a cancellation for the next day. They came out gave us a very reasonable price and were done in under an hour. I believe the person I spoke to on the phone was Lisa she was also very helpful. I would highly recommend this company.
