There were some major communication and punctuality issues, but the owner called me afterwards to ask about my experience, which I appreciated. He noted that this was not the way they normally do business. He heard my concerns, and he apologized. I was very impressed with this company. I even received a thank you note in the mail a few days after the service. You don't come across too many companies like this one these days.

In and out in less than a half hour! Called ahead and I was first on the list!

The owner arrived as agreed and on-time, and did a quick look around the house (others did a reasonably through evaluation). When we got the bid is an estimate of 2 days at $149/hr to do the rough-in work. As the estimate provided no detail and only covered rough-in work, we weren't comfortable with that approach as we had complete bids from others.

Excellent, professional in actions and appearance. Friendly, knowledgeable, a breath of fresh air. Will definitely be my electricians of choice and will recommend to any friends looking for service.

The process was relatively easy. I explained the problem and they sent out one of their electricians to troubleshoot. He determined that we needed to replace the switch. The switch was ordered and 1 week later, they returned and replaced the switch, changed 4 bulbs and installed 2 new smoke detectors.

Project took them less than 30 minutes, so I can't understand why it had to cost $400. They don't offer an hourly rate option. They proposed a panel upgrade at over $2,500. This was surprising given their Angielist special of $1,700 (they say I should pay more for a copper buss, even though I can easily see online that the part is just $150). After the job was complete, they offered me $20 for social media reviews. This makes all their reviews suspect.

They were initially hired to repair a nagging issue - our entryway had a switch and outlet that seemed connected, but did not have power. They found that the wiring between the switch and outlet was installed incorrectly at some point, and they repaired it. Took about 30 minutes and now we have easy access to turning on a light soon as we enter our home. They also did a quick evaluation of our electrical. They said we had a really great panel, but recommended updating our knob and tube at some point. There were no glaring issues, but they couldn't say in good conscience that it was safe. We were already planning on doing this in a few years, but hadn't researched companies for the work. Seeing how thorough they were, they are definitely a company we'd consider. They did recommend installing a surge protector on our panel, another thing I had been considering before they mentioned it. The price was lower than what I had expected, and they completed this task within another 30 minutes. They communicated very well, and were sure to notify me and also only do work that I approved. I want to be clear that they were not pushy and did not use scare tactics. The honest truth is that many old homes have poor electrical, and most homeowners know this. I was glad they met needs I that I wanted filled without me having to schedule another appointment. They were efficient, and I paid less than what I expected for the work they did. They also gave me an estimate for any work that I might want in the future after a thorough investigation - basement, attic, etc. They were well prepared with all the materials and paperwork they needed, and the house was spotless when they were done. They were also really nice guys.

The original electrician, Aaron, that responded to my emergency call the evening of my call was very responsive and easy to talk to. He took out the melty breaker switch (that was far past it's life expectancy, though I didn't know that before). Since he didn't have one of the type mine was (it's an old one they don't use anymore), he re-wired some things such that I still had lights in the whole place. The second visit was a full day visit with a window of 8-4. After giving me a heads up on their arrival time, 2 electricians Brandon and Thomas, arrived at 9am and started work immediately. Brandon did the actual change out and it was done earlier than I expected, with only a few hours of no power. They were finished by 1pm and everything went very smoothly. They were both very professional.

Service was excellent. The technicians were professional and prompt. They explained everything that needed to happen and also took the time to discuss other electrical questions I had.

They were prompt, courteous, clean, and efficient. They were informative when I asked about details of the job. I would highly recommend Seatown Electric. We are very happy with our new electrical service.

SE was very responsive. They communicated very well. The estimator showed up when he said he would. He was pleasant to work with. The same goes for the electrician who did the work. Lisa from the office was also very helpful. SE gets it. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is the minimum price to show up seemed high. Obviously, I decided to pay the price.

Seatown electric is great and I would recommend them to anyone searching for electricians. I had an electrical problem with the outlets in my house that stumped them on two visits. They finally figured out the problem and proposed a solution. They gave me a fair price for the amount of time and effort on their part and even threw in the Angie's list discount price I had previously negotiated. Excellent overall experience and they have quality professionals working for them AAA+

I purchased the service to repair a light fixture that wasnt working. Aaron arrived 2 minutes earlier than expected looking professional. He unnecessarily started to remove his shoes before coming in. He inspected the system and found that the problem was in my light. Since they do not repair lights, he indicated that if I would go purchase a new light, he would return and install it with no additional charge. I recognize this is an inconvenience for his company and for him and above and beyond my expectations. I appreciate their efforts and will not hesitate use them for future projects.

The electricians came to put in 4 lights and ended leaving 8 holes and 1 big hole because they made a mistake on the location for one of the lights. The coupon does say "does not include dry-wall repair" but when I asked the lady about it during booking, she said that just means if something were to happen and there was accidental damage, they wouldn't be responsible. There was no expectation set that I would need to hire a dry-wall contractor. Even if there was clear expectations set, the fact that they needed to make 8 four inch holes and 1 ten inch hole in the ceiling surprises me. They could have fed wires through using less holes. When the dry-wall guy came, he was shocked that they didn't fix it as part of the service. The men who came were professional and very nice but this project caused me so much stress because after they left, I was on the phone frantically trying to find a dry-wall person in less than 24 hours because this was supposed to be a surprise for my husband. Original price was reasonable but because I had to shell out another $400, I am giving this a poor rating on price and quality. Other electricians I've called would have fixed the holes and would have came in under 1200.

The called to confirm the appointment. Called to let let me know they were on the way, and when he got a little lost, called to tell me and find how to get to my house so I was just kept waiting around. When Brandon showed up, he was pleasant, professional, and made sure he didn't track in any dirt by tacking off his shoes. The solution wasn't immediately evident. The obvious possibilities weren't the cause. But Brandon found the culprit and fixed it quickly. I'd use them again for ANY electrical work I might have. A+'s all around.

Provider did not respond to phone calls.

They did a good job at a fair price and didn't get too sidetracked, but there were a few little things that bugged me at the end of the job. I would still recommend them.

Went great! Matt was on time and very friendly. The office staff is always nice to work with and friendly as well. I highly recommend Seatown Electric to anyone needing electrical work done. This is the third job I've had them work on in my home and I plan to use them for more in the future. Price is a B just because the work always seems expensive to me, but I'm assuming you get what you pay for.

Calls returned and service scheduled promptly. Job performed in friendly and professional manner. I would use this provider again.

One day one circuit in my home stopped working suddenly. I checked the breaker and that was not the problem, and there were no GFIs on that circuit. Seatown came and within a half hour had figured out which electrical outlet box was the probable culprit and fixed the problem. They were great about not disturbing our sleeping grandson in the next room. Everything was neat and clean when they left.
