We need help and support for my 91 year old father's home. He was without lighting and we couldn't solve the issue. I was able to communicated via text and telephone and setup service. Seatown staff provided support and communication from initial contact to resolution. Each contact was clearly focused on doing what was right, assuring commitment to resolution. I would not use SeaTown Electric for any work on my house. They were prompt on install and scheduling a Tesla charger but both the sales person and electricians recommended services that I later found out were odd and seemed like an attempt to extract money from me. I was told fuse boxes need maintenance every two years. Call me naive but I trusted their recommendation on having them check my fuse box while they installed a charger for my Tesla. This additional service on top of the install cost over 700 dollars. After consulting neighbors, google and another electrician about what type of service is required for a fuse box I can only say I feel cheated. My house is only three years old. It is what it is and in the end SeaTown Electric extractced more money from me. In my opinion it was not worth it as I will be leaving negative reviews online and will not be using their service again. Per their technicians request they asked me to mention their names in my review - Tyler R. And Bradley M. Are not my preferred electricians to do any work on my house.

We prevent serious issues everyday by proactively working on panels and maintenance hopefully you will find some value in the link. Initial schedule was met one day early and they showed up on time. Project is being completed in stages so can't comment on job until done. Electricians appear competent and accomplished re-wiring 6 separate circuits, and routed all wires under house in one day. They still have to connect wiring to main panel and install outlets in electrical boxes. All cabinets and appliances were removed so they had complete bare kitchen to work with. Estimator originally stated that job could be done with cabinets installed so am wondering why job was left with holes in lath & plaster walls. Company may return and patch holes but wants to return when cabinets are re-installed so am wondering if they expect remodel contractor to repair holes at extra cost to me? Estimate was within $225 of low bid and could they start in two weeks. Will update this review when job is finished!

I needed to have a ceiling fan replaced in my bedroom. SeaTown quoted $645. I found someone to complete it in 1.5 hours for $100. Seems ridiculous SeaTown is so expensive.

Thomas and Anthony did excellent work. They were on time and on schedule throughout the job and we are happy with the work/ upgrade to our house. We have an old house with lathe and plaster walls which was not the easiest to rewire and they did a good, complete job.

All installations and connections are very neat, clean, and professional looking in appearance. Kevin and Anthony were very friendly and hard-working. Most importantly though, they were very technically competent.

Here is how the service visit should have gone: Technician comes and looks at the problem. Realizes that furnace is not in the best shape but after providing some maintenance he believes it is still in okay working condition. Blower still pushing cold air after maintenance provided to furnace. Technician indicates to the customer that there is the possibility of a bad thermostat. Technician proceeds to confirm his hypothesis by using a tested thermostat from his toolbox. Confirms that thermostat is bad and offer customer to sell a replacement thermostat. Customer agrees and is happy that heat is working again. Here is how the actual service visit went: Technician comes and looks at the problem. Realizes that furnace is not in the best shape but after providing some maintenance he believes it is still in okay working condition. Blower still pushing cold air after maintenance provided to furnace. Technician indicates to the customer that there is the possibility of a bad thermostat. Technician leaves customer with no solution to the problem. Customer called back to request them to come back to confirm that the thermostat was the problem, which they should have done as part of their initial troubleshooting visit. Technician's boss said that customer will have to get new thermostat to test out the technicians hypothesis. Customer is unhappy, disappointed and still with broken heat. Customer will probably not call them again.

This was a huge, dirty, destructive job. We got three quotes before choosing SeaTown. All the quotes were in the same ballpark. Aaron did our original quote and I chose him for several reasons. First of all, I didn't feel upsold. He was pretty clear about what would be included in the cost and what would be an additional cost. Admittedly, he wasn't the first quote, so I had a better idea of what the issues were and what we were actually talking about. He was clean and professional and while I may have been taken in by this, it was reassuring to hear him describe how the process would work, how much damage would be done and what precautions would be taken. Most everything went the way he said it would: the team arrived every morning, put on booties, laid down drop clothes and turned out the lights. They worked their way from one side of the house to the other, so that I was able to be in the rooms they weren't working on. As Aaron described, at the end of each day they turned the lights back on and cleaned up the mess (mostly- after the kitchen I opened the cabinets where they'd been working and found mounds of sawdust). Aaron told me that although they do not repair the holes they make (in our case, 15 3"- diameter holes and chips in the plaster around almost every new switch and outlet), they work with another contractor who repairs the plaster and repaints. For over three weeks, I've been trying without success to set up a time for a bid from that contractor. So don't count on that. The other piece that Aaron got wrong was the amount of time to do the job: we were scheduled for four days, but it took almost six. Aaron also said we would have the same team every day, but in fact, there was not one single guy who was there for the entire project. They told me they had some new people in the office who had made some scheduling mistakes and that's why the team was so disjointed. Regardless, the guys we did have, especially Ivan and Bradley who were there for most of the time, were courteous, good-natured and hard-working. They did everything we asked, including little things like taking off a plastic panel they didn't even put on to show me there were no live wires underneath. I was home the whole time they were there and it was actually pleasant having them around! There was one big problem. They put a conduit on the wall behind the stove, such that we couldn't push the stove flush against the wall. When we asked them to fix it, one of them cut a piece of metal off the stove to make room for the conduit-- this was not the fix we had in mind (nor asked for). That was the last thing on the last day and we weren't happy. The next day we called back and they sent Brent out that very day to look at it. He wasn't happy either; within half an hour he had recessed the stove outlet into the wall along with the conduit coming out of it. Hurray! That's why I have to give them an A for everything. And we're safe from that seventy-year old knob and tube.
Description of Work: We had the knob-and-tube wiring replaced in our 70-year-old house. We also had many outlets switched from two plugs to four, new outlets put in, a new kitchen fan, and a new bathroom fan and heat lamp.

We have a 1994 house. Good bones but we are slowly updated the house. The GFIC in the kitchen stop working. We tried to fix our self but we were stumped. I called Seatown Electric Heating and Air based on Angie reviews. Phillip showed up and fixed it. Well, we thought. Turns out that the GFIC not only stopped working again, it effect other areas. I called Phillip back. He turned around and guess what... he was able to figure was going on and YEAH!!! all fixed. Customer service was great. We have outlets that are working and we also learned alot about the other GFICs that we have in the house. I really appreciate that Phillip turned around and came back so quickly. We have been with out power in a certain area for a while and this is a huge deal for us. I was afraid that this was going to be a big deal. Not. Whew. You can probably fined a cheaper electrician but I wanted this to be done "right" and again, the customer service (Phillip) was worth every penny!

Steven, Kevin, Ryan, and Brian from Seatown electric were amazing! They all made sure to answer the questions I had and were patient when we changed our minds on some projects. I never felt like they rushed the job or cut corners. They made sure to involve me as they progressed from room to room and informed me immediately if they ran into an issue. There was never a moment where I felt out of the loop with the projects happening throughout my home. This group of guys were kind and courteous and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

In October 2018 we asked Seatown Electric to give us an estimate for fixing two outlets in our rental home. They came back with a $20,000 estimate to rewire the upstairs and the basement. Another company estimated the job for $2000. I regret doing work with this company for the following reasons: the tech told our renters that the wiring was not safe. He should have given that information only to me or our property manager the tech took it upon himself to expand the scope of the work from fixing 2 outlets to recommending a $20,000 job he did not know that his own company had done work at this house in 2017 Now I wonder, if the estimate was presented in order to expand the work and increase the cost of the job. Of course, the ‘new’ might be better, yet not necessary. I would not buy a new car to fix a headlight. For more details : The technician did not realize that his company had worked on this house last year, for various lights and other items … for more than $5000. We had been assured that the work done in 2017, and the house, were safe. Given that this an older house, there were other suggestions made for future work that we could do. While at the house in October 2018, the technician spoke to our renters about his findings. We then received word from our renters that they had been told that some of the wiring in the house was not safe. They were upset and worried. I was furious. We called and spoke to the technician, informing him that his company, just the previous year, had done the work in the upstairs. He reviewed his estimate and revised it to $10,000 for the work in the basement. He did not give us the reason why his estimate changed only after learning that his company had done the work in the upstairs. Next, we spoke with the technician who had done the work in 2017. He returned an amended estimate for $3000, assuring us that the work would be done properly and their work would be safe.
