Seatown Electric Plumbing Heating & Air

We requested a bid for installation of recessed kitchen lighting. What we got was an estimate for the cost of rewiring the knob-and-tube in our entire house, plus the cost of the fixtures. The rewiring alone was estimated over $18,000. Our home inspector informed us about knob-and-tube when we moved in, as well as the excellent condition of the wiring. Adding LED fixtures would have been a low draw on the system and we have since gotten a far better bid from another electrician. Our impression was that we were given a hard sell to spend almost $20,000 on a big project we did not ask for. There was no alternative solution offered. Additionally, the price quoted for the fixtures was very higher, higher than any I could find on a basic Internet search for the same fixtures, so big price gouging there on the materials. I am confident that these are skilled electricians, but as a homeowner and consumer, I felt that we were not heard and that the company, as represented by the initial contact with the lead electrician who seems to primarily be a salesman, is interested only in big-ticket jobs. If you need a big commercial project done, you may find Seatown to be your best choice. As a homeowner, I felt like the company's next prospective sale. We won't hire this company.

Seatown was able to schedule me for an estimate less than a week after I called them. The office called to remind me when he was coming both the day before and the day of the estimate. They sent me a message with the technician’s photo right before he arrived. He talked me through the estimates and gave me three options. I chose one and he finished the job quickly and efficiently. Then he cleaned up and was on his way. It could not have been done any more smoothly. I will definitely use Seatown again if I need electrical work.

The tech was considerate and personable. Work was done quickly. I did not replace the small light over the table because I believed the 540 it would have cost was excessive.

I had Seatown electric out towards the end of April to install a few switches and outlets after replacing all of the outlets and switches after having the interior of the house painted. I didn't feel comfortable replacing these particular items. Part of the service call package was a review of the electrical system and the old panel. He gave me some brochures with options for panels and recommended one. I reviewed for a couple days and called Steve for clarification on several questions I had. He answered all of them to my satisfaction. Called May 1st to make an appointment and scheduled for May 19th. Jeremy and Jake arrived about 8:30. Both very personable and professional young men. Showed them the work area and they wen to work. Had to move the washer and dryer to gain access to the panel. No wasted motion. They each new what they needed to do to complete the job. They answered our questions when we asked but otherwise they kept moving. They were finished about 1:30 - 2:30. Cleaned up afterwards as best they could. They did a process of elimination to ensure the breakers were correctly marked. Had a problem with two of them that we couldn't identify. Since everything worked that we tried at the time we concluded we were done. Was impressed with the work done by both of the men.

Seatown installed ductless heating/AC in our home. They did an amazing job getting the install done in just two days. Tyler and Isaiah were at the house working late on a Friday to get the job done. They were friendly, patient, and took the time to explain the plan and expectations of the job each day. We are very satisfied with the installation and the product. I highly recommend the team from Seatown!

Seatown was my third bid for a furnace replacement. Cody showed up on time, answered my questions, and gave me a reasonable price. The crew showed up today, on time, and they worked like a well synchronized machine. My furnace is in the attic - more like a crawl space - and there were no complaints - very cheerful bunch! And they couldn't have been more thoughtful. Seatown is now my go-to for furnace maintenance. And I've learned they do electrical and plumbing now too - excellent!

Five yrs of living in this house, using a different company each yr for my HVAC annual service and each year no one could reduce the noise from my AC fan in the backyard or better say no one acknowledged that the noise level us just too high. So, we grew accustomed to it over the years and thought of the noise as a negative externality or as the price to pay to have a livable space during those hot summer days. Seatown technician, Brian, took extra time to fix the noise issue and at the end, I still paid the same original price that I was quoted. Also I should mention that Brian was on time and courteous of the property. Unlike other past services, Brian took photos of all the serial numbers and part numbers pertaining to the system I have and send them to me electronically in a PDF format, making it easy to use for future references. I am glad that my five year quest to find a knowledgable company with reasonable service fees has come to an end. I highly recommend to hire Seatown and see for yourself whether my assessment is true or false. Thank you Seatown staff for a job well done. You got me as another continuing client for any of my electrical, heating and cooling needs in the future.

Determined sump pump failure was not due to electrical issues. They kept me posted by text prior to arrival. Showed up on time. And even made phone calls to a plumbing group to get them out as soon as possible. The tech went out of his way to get us the help we needed.

Cody and Thomas were prompt, and called me to let me know when they were coming. They were professional and friendly answering my ignorant questions.

So impressed! Easy to communicate with (mostly texted) and they had someone out the next day. The technician was able to help me understand my best options and was able to complete the job right away. He was friendly, professional, helped me move things away from the walls, and put them back! He was kind to our dog, respectful of our home, and showed up when he was scheduled.

Excellent. The technicians explained exactly what they were going to address the problem. They were professional and took care to keep the house clean by wearing shoe covers and wiping their shoes off before entering.

Their communication has been great and they provided an estimate the next day after I submitted the request.

He checked everything, acknowledged that the problem was the thermostat. Then installed a new Cadet thermostat. He checked that it was heating and then checked that it did turn off.

Expert electricians, Taylor and Garret, showed up at my house and patiently explained everything to me as they evaluated the problem with my heaters. Luckily there were no serious problems and and they didn’t try to push me towards additional work. I consider myself lucky that I was able to work with two very nice people.
