The service was great! Mike and Dillon helped me and both of them were really nice and professional. Highly recommend it! Mike who came first checked the situation. My situation was pretty challenging - we need to find a hidden valve behind the drywall ceiling and turn it on to fuel our gas fireplace. Mike evaluated the situation and called their gas technician expert Dillon. About an hour later, Dillon came and examined the fireplace piping, traced the pipes, made a good estimate on the piping and where the valve could be, then opened the drywall ceiling, found the valve, and turned it on for us. This may sound smooth and easy but it puzzled me for weeks. Dillon not only solved this problem for us but checked fireplace wiring for us and made sure no leak in any of the gas pipes in the house before leaving. Dillon was a real expert and was really professional. Definitely recommended!

couldn't have gone better, dillon showed to give me an estimate on running my propane line to my kitchen for a new gas cooktop iam going to put in and then said he could do now, so cool great guy super skilled trades man 5 stars dillon is the man. also gave me an estimate on repair the installation on the ducks under the house to repair the insulation falling off. i scheduled that to be done too.

From the start, this was fabulous: Steve, the estimator, responded right away and we had a "live" estimate in just a few days. When the time came for the work, we realized that there were a few things we wanted differently than the estimate, and Steve worked with us to make it all work. The three-man team, led by Brent, were excellent! Professional, clear, quiet (given what they were doing) and very flexible in working around our needs. And we're amazed at how little visible damage there is, given the scope of the job! Our 109 year old Issaquah home is now ready to go to the next step of upgrade! Thank you, folks!

The job was done very well. Price was a little better than other estimates, and included better material (i.e. copper line rather than Poly or PEX at no additional cost.) The technician, Cody, was easy to work with and he answered all my questions promptly, in person and by email on the weekend before the job. They showed up promptly to start and finished about when they said they would, in less than one day. The house and yard were cleaned up and left in good shape.

They installed electric panelboard and they ruptured my oil tank which is buried in the soil next to my house with a grounding rod. they ran the rod from the top to the bottom of my oil tank and that caused a lot of damages: 1. lost my oil tank. 2. lost 300 gallon of oil in 2 days. 3. soil contamination under the tank, around the tank, under the driveway, and beneath my house foundation. Placing the grounding rod inside my oil tank could have caused an explosion inside my house, so they were negligent!

Perfect! Very fast diagnosis and fix.

Tyler did a very professional job. First he listened to what I explained, then he proposed a list of options I had, with explaining pros&cons for each. He implemented one option nicely. He was careful and paying close attention when making a hole on a drywall, and also cleaned up everything later. He answered all the questions I had throughout the work. I'm impressed!

Before even giving a quote, this company asks you to pay $49 dollars "dispatch fee" over the phone just to send someone out. No thank you.

I had my sump pump replaced. Blaine explained all my options. I decided to have him replace the pump, install a deeper pit, replace and pipe the discharge line and tie it into my gutter downspout. He and his co-worker arrived right on time. They were friendly, polite and made sure to explain all the work that they were doing. He made sure that the pump operation could not be heard from inside the house. I highly recommend Seatown and plumber Blaine in particular

I've used Seatown for several different service calls. By far the most major one was a partial rewire that replaced some knob and tube wiring. There are several reasons why I view the as an excellent company: - Their administrative and dispatch system is efficiently and competently run. Phone calls during business hours are answered quickly (I've never been on hold for more than a minute or so), they usually have good availability, and the phone operator takes plenty of notes during your phone call which are then communicated to your technician who then has ample context on your problem right up front. - All of the technicians I've worked with have been friendly, communicative, and professional. It always seemed like they know what they're doing. Also, they will patiently explain to you what's causing your issue and what they did to resolve it. - I want to particularly call out Micah, the technician in charge of my rewire project, who was outstanding. He initially came out to diagnose why a couple of circuit breakers were constantly tripping, and identified the need to rewire my garage, office, furnace, and one bedroom. He wrote me an estimate, which I later compared to other companies' and turned out to be quite reasonable. Between my shopping around and heavy holiday demand, it wound up being a few weeks before the rewire was completed. In the intervening time, the circuits tripped a few more times. When I notified Micah of this, he offered to personally come over to further troubleshoot the problem - on Christmas Day - despite Seatown being closed! Micah also found a way to complete the rewire with almost no interior drywall damage. Finally, he was particularly helpful in answering my many questions about my home's electrical system, both before and after the rewire. Micah's combination of professional competence and personal empathy is very uncommon and exemplary. If you hire Seatown for any major electrical work, try to get Micah as your technician. While I am overall very satisfied with Seatown, there are a couple areas that I think could be improved: - At one point between Micah's initial estimate and the start of the rewire project, the circuit connecting my furnace gave out. This was on December 23rd, and I was concerned about my house not having heat. I e-mailed Seatown's emergency mailbox requesting someone come out requesting emergency service, but did not receive a response until December 27th. The office being closed for the holidays is completely understandable, but if you're going to have an emergency mailbox then you should be able to respond to it promptly 24/7, or at least have some kind of auto-reply that sets expectations on when a human can respond. - For relatively minor calls, their service visit fee is quite inelastic relative to the work that is actually done. By which I mean, I've paid about $300 every time they send an electrician out (other than the rewire), regardless of whether they did significant work like replace damaged, bare wire in my breaker panel, or just tell me not to use a space heater. It probably evens out in the long run, but each service call is a bit of a crap shoot on whether I'm going to feel like I got my money's worth. It seems to me to make more sense to charge a lower up-front visit fee, but then charge additionally for specific services rendered.

I got the estimate and asked if there was a mistake. It was over $1,000 for about two hours of work. I tried to get the hourly rate when I set up the appointment for the estimate but they wouldn't give it to me. Turns out that's because it's about $450/hour. Nice truck, nice technician, very professional customer service. But give me a break -- $450/hour???
