The promised service within 4-6 weeks and then pushed it out another 6-8 weeks.

Everything went great. A couple of the guys working on the deck made a couple of suggestions that really worked well. If they would have just done everything our way we probably wouldn't have been happy. To be clear, these were just suggestions as the deck progressed. I feel confident that they would have built it just like we wanted if we would have asked them too. I appreciated their suggestions. I would definitively use them again and recommend them.

It’s just beautiful. The employees were very nice and they did a good job measuring and completing the work. They completed the different phases of work during a span of 4 days. We have received many compliments and we would recommend their services to others.

Once the job got started, it went very well. Kevin was the builder who did an excellent meticulous job and solved some tricky issues in construction. Very pleasant guy, professional, experienced and well equipped. He helped resolve a glitch in material delivery when he didn't have to get involved. If you use Seahawk for a deck try hard to get him for the job. Seahawk hauled the construction waste and some old deck furniture away in a timely manner. We're very pleased with our new deck and would use them in future. As with any construction project, make sure your contract specifies all materials as to type, color, etc.

The guys arrived for the consultation and estimate promptly and on schedule. Because of the Angie's List Big Deal, their schedule was pretty booked to complete the actual work, and the communication on the timing wasn't great (they called the day before they planned to arrive rather than a few weeks ahead as mentioned during the initial consultation). The workers arrived promptly and were very friendly and professional. They completed the project in two days and did a fantastic job - the deck looks really great! I would use them again.

In May we contacted Seahawk Remodeling to see about replacing our old wood walkways in front and back of our home. We originally thought of replacing them with composite decking material, but when we saw the price, we decided on their recommended concrete patterned walks. A date was set to begin work. On that day, a young man came and tore out our old wood walkways. We waited a couple of days for someone to come and set the forms for the new walkways. But no one came or contacted us. On a Friday morning we called to ask what might have happened. The project manager said that he would get right on it to find out. A few hours later he called back to say that he couldn't find the subcontractor who was supposed to do the work. The weekend went by. the next Monday morning, Seahawk called to say that he contacted the concrete man's wife who told him that her husband had gone to Idaho for a week--without contacting Seahawk. We were told that they had found another subcontractor to do the work and that we would be contacted sometime that same day, Indeed we were. Two men came that afternoon, looked the job over and said that they would be back the following morning to start work. They came bright and early the next morning and began digging and setting the forms. Seahawk were so embarrassed and angry about the first concrete subcontractor's disappearance without telling anyone, they said that they would throw in an additional walkway extending from our front porch to the street. By the end of that week, the work was completely and beautifully done. In addition, they sent one of their carpenters to come and rebuild a raised flower bed that exists just in front of the walkway. Beautifully and perfectly done...with no extra charge! Bottom line: we couldn't be happier with the work and the service that Seahawk Remodeling provided! We will certainly call on them again if or when we need some contracting work done on our home in the future.

It was an Angie's list Big Deal that I purchased. It was awesome. They were really good, friendly people. They were prompt and I actually enjoyed their services. We had a scheduling issue because of our schedule but they worked around our schedule and actually came after their normal hours of work. We paid an additional amount because they built a larger deck. They didn't mind that I was out there doing my yard work and chatting with them. They were here until they finished.

Nic was on time and very nice to talk with.

I called Seahawk Remodeling based on the reviews read here on Angie's List. Nick came over to give an estimate for the job. He gave recommendations and the price was very reasonable. There was no sales pressure, and I told him I would think about it and get back to him. After getting prices from a few other companies, I decided to go with Seahawk. Nick came back out to take more detailed measurements, and told me it could be installed in a few weeks. I was very pleased when I got the call that they had a cancellation and would be able to do it the next day. The deck builders showed up at 8am and started work. When I returned home from work, the deck was built, and there was now mess or evidence that a work crew had been there (other than my new beautiful deck.) I would highly recommend Seahawk Remodeling and would certainly hire them again in the future.

Had Nick came out to check out where I want the deck build. Opinion and suggestions from Nick were decent but their price was not the lowest around. We went ahead to contract them to build it mostly because of their review score on Angie's list. Nick mentioned that someone is supposed to arrange another meeting in a week's time to do a final land survey and talk about the details. But 1/2 month has gone by, no phone calls. So far, the service I am getting is neither punctual nor responsive. Together with the middle of the pack pricing, I start to wonder if I made a bad choice to contract these guys and trust the review scores from Angie's list. Note: I have made a phone call to the Seahawk again asking for a call back. Let's hope they will respond quickly. Update: Saved the review and wanted to see if Seahawks would callback on the same day. But no. And now, it is 3+ days after I called asking for a response. As a result, I am dropping my overall rating with Seahawks due to unacceptable responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism.

After some initial confusion about scheduled estimate date, Nick came out to look at our deck. The house is situated on a slope so that the front door is essentially on the second floor requiring stairs and a high deck. Nick was clear that it would be an expensive job because decks over 3 feet high require permits and that this deck would need to be designed by an engineer and have the ground assessed by a geologist. He was also honest that the concerns that I had about the current deck are unfounded and that the it doesn't NEED to be replaced yet. He gave me some ideas and pointers on a few easy repairs we can do ourselves to make the current deck last even longer. When we are ready to spend that much money on the new deck that we want, I will definitely call Seahawk again for a bid.

Contractor Cameron from Seahawk Remodeling came to property and briefly discussed a deck extension. Stayed maybe 5 minutes assessing project. He said they would have a more formal bid estimate in the next couple days. A week passed and I emailed to follow up on the estimate. No one from the company has, since then, called or emailed regarding my inquiry. We have gone with another, more professional contractor.

Job went well, my deck is 12 feet from the ground, Dave did an awesome job, arrived on time, was very polite, everything about my deck is difficult, he did a great and am very happy with the work

These guys were great from start to finish! We took advantage of an Angies List Big Deal and they gave us more than we'd expected for our money. They were fair, ethical and extremely clean and courteous. They gave us great advice and made a beautiful deck. Would highly recommend them.

We get lot of bids for project. No one have good price. Nick give us good price so we sign on first visit. We very happy with work done. Window look nice and patio are is good for big family. We really like good price and so we like a Seahawk. All other price crazy.

We saw a "Big Deal" on Angies list from Seahawk Remodeling. We called them up & Clinton made an appointment with us & came out the next day. He explained in detail everything they could/would do, along with all of our options. We felt the price was fair, & opted to have them do the work. They showed up on time & both Mark & Levi were extremely friendly, professional, competent, & even quiet. They kept us informed as to what they were doing each day & what we could expect, & when it would be finished. We were completely satisfied with the whole project, & really can't say enough about Mark & Levi. Great job you guys!!

The estimator Nick came over and i was surprised to learn about the variety of exterior work they do. I was referred to them by the Sunsetter awning website and originally had them out to order an awning. After talking to Nick for a while and learning about all the services he was capable of doing i decided that i would like all my work done by the same company. The concrete work was done beautifully and then a large screen room was built over the top. I also had a few windows left to do and they were able to match the rest of my windows and trim. Last but not least they installed a Sunsetter retractable awning over the top of my side deck. The work was done professionally, quickly, and on budget. I have referred them to 2 different friends already. Things could not have gone smoother.

When we saw a door hanger that said Seahawk Remodeling on it we were instantly intrigued because we are huge football fans. We went ahead and gave them a call and talked to Cameron over the phone. We told him the project that we had in mind that we wanted to get done before summer was here. Cameron was very knowledgable and gave us some real ideas to think about before he came out and talked to my wife and I. We were a little nervous because we new that it wasn't going to be cheap. We wanted a screen room added onto our back porch so we can enjoy it not only in the summer time but in the spring and winter as well. When Cameron came out and met with us I don't even think we talked about the screen room for a whole 30 minutes because him and my husband woudn't stop talking about how excited they are for the Seahawks football team next year. :) We sat down at the table and he showed us some great pictures of screen rooms and even saw some of the gorgeous concrete work they did recently. We were only planning on getting a quote for a screen room but we coudn't resist to redo our driveway as well with some of the stamped concrete options he showed us. Cameron was very knowledgable and let us know that the reasons that our driveway and walkway was so bad and cracked because over the years the big tree roots raised the concrete. We were really happy with the prices and it was actually $2,000 under what we had originally budgeted so we went ahead and signed up to get into there schedule and they had it done in about 3 weeks. Seahawk went above and beyond. Everything that they promised happened and we couldn't have been happier with the workmanship as well as the customer service and communication. We will be referring Seahawk Remodeling to our friends and family and are keeping them in mind to finish up our window project as well with a lifetime window.

Seahawk Remodeling came highly recommended from a family friend who had their kitchen remodeled by Seahawk Remodeling. The estimator who came out was named Nick Upton and he was very clean cut and personable. He was knowledgeable in all fields of construction and gave great advice regarding the design of our huge remodel. We understood that this was going to be an expensive project from the beginning and we were fairly warned by Nick that we were gong to be in the 6 figure range. He offered to do the project in phases if it was more comfortable for our budget but we opted to do it all at once. The roof, deck and flooring did not require building permits or engineering so they were first up. Seahawk Remodeling was sensitive to our schedules and that of our special needs child. About 2 weeks after signing contracts our deck construction, re-roofing, and hardwood floors were underway. The deck took around a week as expected, the roof took around a week as well. And the flooring was installed in two days! We were kept very informed on the status of our sun-room permits and once they were approved Seahawk Remodeling went to work right away. The sun-room was installed in around two weeks and the result is fantastic. We got the energy efficient glass package and opted for electricity in the sun-room as well. Nick was knowledgeable enough to schedule the drive way last so we didn't have construction trucks driving up and down our brand new driveway. Our old driveway was removed and the forms were assembled on the first day and then our driveways was poured and stamped the next day. We had to wait 4 days for the concrete to cure before we could drive on it. All in all, we are very satisfied with Seahawk Remodeling as a contractor and Nick Upton as a project manager. We never felt out of the loop and all the work was performed as expected. We will be giving every referral we can muster to Nick Upton because we know he will take good care of them.

The deck installations was quick and constructed really well. We're really impressed with the railing and rain protections under the deck. The contractor was punctual, efficient, and very friendly. The Master Bath installation went well, being able to design my bathroom and watch it all come together was great. Even though it took longer than the anticipated it was all done correctly and any issues that arose were addressed and fixed. The contractor was very efficient, friendly, knowledgable, and helpful with making choices and giving advice.

Dave from Seahawk Construction had taken over the contract for Penguin windows (which is bankrupt). They contacted us to check on our windows and let us know they now had the contract. Since they were going to be in Bellingham I invited them to stop by and give me an estimate on re-carpeting the Rec room and installing radiant heat on the concrete floor to help get some heat in the room. They gave me estimates with and without the retro-fit radiant heat mats and carpeting with a high quality memory foam pad which would be less expensive but much warmer than the present carpet and pad. After checking their web site I also requested an estimate on the gutters, which were desperately in need of replacing. Since we couldn't do both and the gutters were leaking we chose to do them first. The Dave and Cam, were very patient and listened to many stories my husband told before he would agree to having the work done. They told us they were able to keep costs down if they batched jobs in one area so it might be four to six weeks before they started the job however it was only three weeks till they did the job. We have a 2500 sq ft tri-level house but the gutters were completed, including cleanup that same day.

We were going to purchase a home that needed some remodeling work completed but decided against it. Kim was very nice and helpful. We will defiantly call on them in the future.

Seahawk is a great company to do business with. And, we gave them A LOT of business. We are getting ready to retire and move back into a home we've owned for years as a rental. The house had gotten beat up pretty bad over the years and needed a major overhaul. Seahawk Remodeling came heavily recommended from another member of our church who had them finish their triple pane window replacement after Penguin went out of business. After talking with a project manager from Seahawk we decided to utilize them as our general contractor. We has them do double pane insulated windows, high efficiency vinyl siding, standing seam metal roof, two skylights, a solar tube in the bathroom, and hardwood flooring throughout the whole house. Every phase of the project went smoothly and everything ended up as promised. Calls are returned promptly and all employees have been very professional. We feel we got a great value and the best bang for our buck. The craftsmen always left our home tidy and the clean up at the end of each phase was thorough. I would definitely recommend them to friends, family, and co-workers. In fact, next year we are going to use them for solar panels if the Federal tax incentive is still going on, or maybe to finish our basement with a wine cellar.
